Talking Tree was considering some sort of exchange. Talking Tree believes a charity would take a little bit more planning. However, if enough members agree to a charity, the Order MAY just have enough time to put it together. 3nodding Question, though: Did Tirill mean simply among followers or just a general charity? Talking Tree would most definitely like to organise a charity for all members of Gaia for next Christmas, spreading both the spirit of the season and the name of the Order.

We do not refer to giving something to every Gaian. Rather, the plan would be to have the charity open to all Gaians, as opposed to only the Order.

Talking Tree is beginning to feel that a Christmas charity is unrealistic for this year. Partly because it is such short-notice and partly because of the current lack of activity in the Order. Perhaps a simple Christmas party for the guild will be in order, similar to some of the role-play Christmas parties that crop up around that time. Some small gift-giving among the members, etc.

Talking Tree had an idea for a Valentine's Day event this morning. It would also function as a fund-raiser for the Order. When Talking Tree works out a few more details, Talking Tree will tell more about it. 3nodding

Talking Tree plans to host a Christmas party in the Order forums. It will be a roleplay of sorts. Please post any ideas here in the Event Discussion thread. Talking Tree will play hostess, but others may help out as well. Perhaps someone managing drinks and another managing food? Music? The party will begin the Monday or Tuesday before Christmas and go for about a week. (Talking Tree will be visiting family until that Monday) Talking Tree will begin building the "party thread" in the coming weeks. 3nodding
