River Noises Wish-Wash
The River has a flat, sandy, "beach" like bank that is constantly running side by side with one another. This place is visited often by Mistlings just passing by, can be used for gatherings of any sort, and of course can simply be used for its water alone.
---------------
Life has become old here, but like fine wine it has only just begun to meet its prime. The tastes, the smells, the sounds; they blend so perfectly here in Midland. Through the Highlands, even passing what low lying and uncharted territories there are left to be discovered, one must always stumble upon such a place as this.
For the Mistlings, this place is both a blessing and a curse. Tiny as these creatures are, points of the river will flood the banks as strong currents make loud and angry roars into the silent wood, many times scaring off the few youngsters who pass by. While the treacherous rapids flow, down stream a peaceful bed awaits all those patient enough to find it. The water here is calm, clear right down to the grains of sand and is shallow enough to cross.
Many Mistlings gather to this river, some even venture into it and travel down the ripples to smaller streams breaking off from their maker. Even a garden or two has been discovered from time to time! Flyers find the river a place of solitude as well. Their wings allow for quick escapes, however, which offer great differences in how the water is perceived.
