i'm a yellow belt in kajukenbo and i was wondering what the meaning of the yellow belt meant. white is purity but that's all i know.

From what I understand, Kaju doesn't give meaning to belt colors, but generally, yellow signifies the first beam of sunlight which shines upon the seed giving it new strength with the beginning of new life. A yellow belt student is given his/her first ray of knowledge, opening his/her mind, from an instructor.

Wait... Are you getting hard belts, or sashes? At our school only the children got actual belts and the teens and adults got sashes. I could take a picture of one of mine for reference if needed. If you're in a children's program, however, you'd have a different coloring system. You could simply disregard the notes I posted.
