Name:
Soveliss Achron
Hero/Villain Name:
None
Age:
29
Height:
5'10''
Weight:
165
Appearance:
Soveliss is like most humans in stature. He has short, dark hair that is slicked back. He wears a lab coat that would have been white at one time but is now dusty and worn. Built into the arms of the coat are watches. 10 on each arm, the watches all hold a different "time". A quick glance reveals that some of the watches aren't running, some that move at variable speeds, and some that have many hands. He holds himself high as he walks, he gives off an air of control.
Power Source:

History:
Soveliss Achron's Science Journal
10 June 3015
Mass effect study Epsilon, day 2
…you would think that for how hard it was to extract from space-time, it would be a bit simpler to manipulate now. It’s not. But the dark matter is finally responding to our advances. It’s just not what we expected… …I’m recording this now for future reference, though it may just prove to be nothing. All scientists present in the study today felt a strange phenomenon. We felt as though we had worked for many hours, we estimated 7, but the clocks and our own bodily necessities (hunger, excretion) all said 4. Could this be a side-effect of the manipulation of such a mass? Only time will tell.

30 August 3015
Mass effect study Theta, day 12
The dark matter is simply defying what we consider to be laws. Whenever we prompt a response the matter loses mass, we are famailiar with this occuance, but this one is different. After a short period of time its mass returns. We can't even theorize why the the mass is regenerating ...One thing we didn't find surprising is how unstable the space surrounding the matter is. From what we can tell, we may be experimenting with one of the most dangerous substances in psuedo-existance. What we are doing to it won't draw upon these dangers, but we know what would. We reported our concerns to the director.

11 September 3015
Mass effect study Theta, day 25
Once again our dark matter imploded. Like our other samples, its mass slowly dwindled to nothingness. We thought this one would be different, seeing as how it regenerated itself. And even as frightening as it was having the mass present, the data we were collecting was unprecedented. Nonetheless, the retarded process of extracting more dark matter will consume us for the next year.

18 September 3015
Normally I wouldn't record an outcome such as this in the books, but this is obviously a result of the experimentation. I am the only scientist still with us. Let me clarify, I'm not neccessarily the only one alive, but the only one that still exists/is not in a coma/is not insane. Some have simply disappeared, and not the missing kind. Eyewitnesses actually saw my colleagues vanish from thin air. Others were in a coma until they died of some exotic radiation poisoning. Still others went insane, and strangely enough, all seemed to have the same problem of time confusion. The irony in the situation is that I was the one who was in contact, actually hands-on doing the experiments, the entire time. I have stayed home to prevent myself from becoming a specimen like those before me that had yet to succumb to the symptoms. I plan to perform my own studies in my friend's private lab, to test myself on my own terms.

21 September 3015
I knew that I possessed the radiation that was found on my fellow scientists, it was obvious since we all experienced the time lapsations, but upon further investigation I have found that the radioactive cells in me have overcome their instability. I can only imagine that from the contact with the dark matter, the radioactive cells in my body managed to mature and avoid a cancerous outcome ...to my dismay, I have noticed the increasing severity of my time lapses. My sanity is tested regularly by the slow of time. When it feels like 10 hours since you last ate, but the clock tells you it has only been 90 minutes, you tend to become frustrated.

30 March 3017
...the calenders here only say 1 year has passed. I don't think I can even begin to express the state of being I have been in for what seemed to be a decade. I fancy the term 'Chronic Limbo', but call it as you will... Reality is nothing. Can you see the fabric of space-time? Can you touch it? Twist it? TEAR it? Well, that's because you don't have it in oscilation with yourself. Over the past 'year' I spent in limbo, I developed a new sense. Spending the immense amount of time in a state of being that had variable time, allowed me to view what changes take place etherealy when time shifts. It wasn't until I learned how certain manipulations of the fabric brought about different chronic occurences did I realize how to control my 'problem'. I am born again.

2 April 3017
Chronoportion, Experiment 1
I now plan to begin new studies to test the limitations of my power. First off is the accuracy of the future. How can we not change the future? Especially if we know what is to come. To test this, I will ask Nappa (Napoleon is my friend and owner of the lab I am working in) to wave his hands in one minute. I will chronoport to the future and, assumedly, view the action, upon returning (only 10 seconds having elapsed) I will ask him to not perform the action and proceed to the future once again and see what happens. I presume he will follow orders, and thus I will view two different occurences at the same moment in time. If one were to say that the future was set in stone, then you would say that the upon the first visit to the future, Napa would not wave his hands, since I am planning on returning to tell him not to. But if he doesn't wave, then I would have no reason to tell him to not do it. And as such, what will happen? Only time will tell.
