Hate
Raging anger
Gentle child
Forging onward
Demeanor mild
Loving always
His world so small
Touching hearts
Caring for all
Tortured daily, for no good reason
His mind a cell, no more than a prison
Reaching out for help, the small boy on bended knee
Kicked in the face, left alone to bleed
Hearing the voices resisting their will
The pain of millions, he is forced to feel
Burn, maim torture and kill
He turns to God, pleading to heal
Reign in suffering, escape his desire
Burn alive in Satan’s hellfire!
Shaken and beaten, no where is safe
No friends, no trust, no love, just hate
The Christian Code twisted to anger
Chivalry his code, isolation his shelter
Crying with God, hollow and tried
He ask if it feels good to be dead inside?
Shivering
Bleeding
Starving
Misleading
What emotion is joy?
Does it feel like a beating?
Young full of rage
The voices a plague
Torment so cruel and divine
To God he prays and he pleads
Ask, “God why me?”
And his shell withers and writhes as he dies
Still not a teen
He has gotten quite keen to the way life works
And its ways
People consult him and ask him advice
To them he often sighs
Why ask me, when you won’t heed he,
The wise one beyond his years?
Of course they know not
To whom they trot the suffering he always hides
Military codes, weapons and foes
He learns them inside and out
Planning his future to command, and die
The same way he has lived his life
Cold and alone, surround in woe
Never quite feeling bliss
But how can one miss, what one has not had?
To die, surely wasn’t so bad
Now, the lad, appearing so sad
Sat straight, learning at school
Watching…profound
At all that surround
And their ignorance and arrogance there
So angry and malicious
“To hell with your acceptance!”
He shouted and pushed away
“To what do I owe you and why choose me to lay on your burdens fair?”
The voices had gone
But the damage was done
Thoughts of killing and destruction ensue
Confused and conflicted
Thoughts of the wicked
Disguised as valor and deed
Slay the rapist, make it slow
No one else will know
Just kill him and watch him die
Apathy and decay
The boy who loved lay
Dead upon the mere teens hollow chest
Metaphor or not
The teen he cared not
He would eventually have his day
In high school bombarded
Thoughts of love still discarded
Hope long since shriveled in ash
Till one day, love struck him and
Changed his very core
Later that year
Rejection and fear
Spurred him, sadness he sought
Grown to a man
He makes his last stand
So full of jealousy, anger and hate
“Slaughter them all, families and all!”
The army, to him they obey
Weapons draw still
Humans they kill
Wrath and carnage evoke
“Damn them all!”
He shouts in conviction
Shredding the living to ribbons
Laughing at crimson
Suffering and misery
“Feel my pain!”
Wrath and vengeance
“Face his judgment!”
Apathy and sorrow
“Beg on your knees!”
Rejection and fear
“Watch yourselves bleed!”
Heinous and fierce
His eyes soulless pools
American soldier?
Or Death Reaper that feels?
Twist of two knobs
A push of a button
Code entered in a box
Detonates an explosion
Millions of lives
Extinguished in seconds
Nuclear fusion
Rains its chaos in a chorus of fire
“Burn like I have, revel in pain!”
Shouts out the most dead and most lame
Deprived of all joy, rejected by love
What point is death, if mercy, it shames?
Crooked smile upon a once loving face
Never on Earth was there a bigger disgrace
Stripped of his love, whipped for his passion
Clinging to hate, slaughter his mission
Only this man, can reign hell on the earth
But who is to say, it is not deserved?
Raging anger
Gentle child
Forging onward
Demeanor mild
Loving always
His world so small
