I'm going pride CRAZY!!! My avatar has gone rainbow crazy and I'm spreading the word of gay pride quite a lot recently. For those who don't know, I am actually bisexual ^^ Unfortunately I missed Gay Pride Day this year =(
Anyways guys, I want to know YOUR opinions on homosexuality, including what you think about rights for homosexual couples and possibly even your own sexuality, if you are comfortable in saying so =)
Love you guys ;D heart heart

Yes, I am Christian. But that doesn't affect the way that I feel about other people.

There's nothing wrong with homosexuality. People are all entitled to their own preferences. I'm straight myself, obv. I have a gay cousin (who is living with another man in New Zealand) and a few gay/bi friends.
Lots of girls these days are bi or bi curious.
And LOVE YOU MORE, MISS SPOONING QUEEN!!!! heart heart heart (jks)

No, I think you'd find that more girls say that they're bi. It seems that homosexuality in "in" at the moment. The problem with things like that THEN is that they're entering themselves into something that they might change their mind about in the future. Personally I cannot remember any point in my life when I have not been attracted to both sexes.

Personally I believe that who someone loves is their business and nobody else's. As long as everyone is happy and nobody's getting hurt then people can do what they like as far as I'm concerned.
biggrin
Basically I fully support this thread! heart

Well one of the important parts of Christianity is accepting people for who they are. Virtually all religions say that homosexuality is wrong but they also encourage you to find out who you are for yourself and discover more about yourself, and learn to accept that. Because, you can't begin to accept other people until you've accepted yourself. While the Bible does not encourage homosexuality, it is important that you notice the parts that say God will still love and accept you no matter what.
I hope that answered your question =)

You'll probably find that those people are ones who take what they read completely literally, and don't read around what they see to find the true meaning. They're the sort of people who see "The box is red" and just picture a box. I'm the sort of person who sees that sentence and thinks "Why is there a box? Why is it red? What shade of red? Is there something inside the box" Is the box really what I should be focussing on?" etc. Reading one small part of something and then formulating an opinion is one of the reasons that people get into such big arguments over trivial things.
