Hmmm...
Do you design your avatar with hypnosis in mind? If so, how, and to what degree? Is it just for show, or do you incorperate it into RPs?
For instance, I seem to have a thing for rainbows...and showing some skin. wink

Not hypnosis exactly. A touch of mystery, a touch of power, a touch of class, a touch of whimsy. Some darkness, and some shiny baubles. Well, the shiny baubles sort of scream hypnosis I guess cool
BTW, rainbows and skin are both quite hypnotic used properly wink

And its usually for an extremely brief in towns/hollywood humorous roleplay. This was made as a mule to incorporate a decently dressed to fit my personality while on a tight budget avatar. The crystal is obviously a hypnotic suggestion but i'd never say necessary. You should make your avatar how you see your self and what will make you happy wearing that avatar. If you want to include a rainbow because that represents yourself as a hypnotic interest by all means do so. smile If not. Don't force yourself to do something you aren't 100% comfortable with. To the other part of your question. i think most "hypnotic" avatars are for roleplaying purposes. smile ... ... er.. *gets off podium* sorry for the long winded response to a short question. sweatdrop

My eyes are used for hypnotic purposes, as I am a slave in many rps and I use my avatar. ^_^ Red eyes for seeing a vision, faded for normal.

Though I suppose it would be fun to design it to a theme, or something.... I need to get online more often to gather gold in order to do that though... and to make that easier I should probably make some more friends to keep me company here. :3

Leolnaan I actually don't really work on my avatar too much... Though I suppose it would be fun to design it to a theme, or something.... I need to get online more often to gather gold in order to do that though... and to make that easier I should probably make some more friends to keep me company here. :3 On a side note, Ame has a wonderful look <3... @_@ surely she has heart

Well....mine have been leaning towards Hypnosis themes I suppose, but lately i have been lead to a more pleasing clothing set cool
But when I did, my avvies leaned towards elegant, with more of a playful look and without looking...whorish? I will always keep my eyes, but I loved lacey and frilly and long elegant skirts, kind of to show that line between mistress and slave 3nodding
Hypnosis wise....yes i do lean it that way, but its because SOMEONE wink leads me to what i should wear

Nah. I've never really thought about incorporating hypnosis into my avatar. I just like mine exceedingly gay. xp
In fact, this is the first time my avi hasn't worn a skirt and/or a thong* in a long while. A time or two ago one of my friends asked if I had switched the genders of my avi it was so effeminate.
I also sometimes cosplay my sigs, which are drawn (not for me, just found of the internet,) by the infamous shota artist Po-ju. quite frankly, I'm surprised at how many people know its shota AND they don't flame me for it.
*he is wearing a thong, its just covered by pants. sweatdrop

I haven't ever really used 'hypnotic' items on my avatar before, they've always just been made to fit what the character- Cyrus- would be wearing. However, this one (the one I'm wearing at the time of this post which I highly doubt will be on long) is definitely where I took an item and thought about how it might look if I made an avatar around it. In this case, the Pendant made me think of those old-time-y hypnotists with Svengali looks and pocketwatches/pendant necklaces. I went crazy with it, and voila.
Also, Burn, I would try to appreciate that sig if my inner position and anatomy critic wasn't writhing in agony.
