She isn't exactly that cold, but she has a lot to think about, a lot to worry about. She accepts she is awkward almost every second of the day. She accepts that people don't like her. Sure, someday she might 'blossom' and become a social butterfly, but who really does that after years of being shy?

Family  Alexandra Heart: Ellie's eldest sister was always the most beautiful, looked upon daughter of the Heart family. Other siblings were always being compared to Alexandra. When the mother and father passed away, Alexandra never bothered herself to help her younger sisters, most of which were over ten years younger than her. Now twenty-five years old, Alexandra has her own family, her own life, her own kids. Now, her needing the help, her sisters won't help her.
 Midori-Hannah Heart: Hannah was born in the middle of her mother's Japanese obsession. Hence the Midori part of her name. Hannah was always the care-free one. Happy and loved life. That's how is was until her mother passed away. She was always close to Jenna Heart, and once she was gone Hannah was devastated. Of course, so was the rest of the family, but it hit Hannah the hardest. She went from happy-go-lucky to a depression stricken ten-year-old in mere days.
 Pikeru Heart: Two years younger than Ellie, Pikeru is even more shy than her. Never talking unless necessary, Pikeru would rather smile than talk. She was usually the one who got along with Alexandra. Alex would order her around and she would do it with a smile, anything to get recognition. Since Hannah and Ellie were always the ones to get along, Pikeru wanted someone to confide in, even if it was Alexandra.
