History: Odette is the eldest daughter of a banker and a teacher in Salem, Mass, USA. She attended Salem Magic High until her 17th year, when she was selected, along with another student her age, as an exchange student for Hogwarts. She dislikes her given name, so she calls herself Oregon, because of an accidental confusion between Mass's Salem and Oregon's Salem. At 13, her elder brother was killed in an accident involving his passion: dragons. She dislikes hearing his name now, because it makes her sad.
Personality: Odette is outspoken and snide. Sarcastic and cold. However, she is also strong and unwilling to accept someone disrespecting her friends. Though she is rough on her best friend, Oz, she really cares for him deeply. The same with her brother, Odd. Despite her cold, aloof personality, she possesses a warm heart and an occasionally gentle soul.
Pet: a fruit bat named Coheed. He delivers her mail, as an owl would.

Other: Or crushes on Oz, occasionally. She aspires to be a dragon tamer, like her late brother was. She has a close relationship with her fraternal grandfather, Vladimir.
