I say this because I have not seen, nor have I been able to come up with, a logical way to place M-Preg in a story as a plot device. It has basically been forged from and for yaoi fanfiction. So I was thinking, wouldn't it be a good challenge to try and justify it in some way? I don't have anything to give for prizes, so I won't ask anyone to write anything, but put your thinking cap on and try to work out this little puzzler if you can.
Rules:
The fetus must be able to survive to term, but the parent does not necessarily have to survive giving birth, nor does the pregnancy need to be at all comfortable.

Okay, so, like... Ew? I dunno, it's horribly unnatural, and it... I'm tolerant of a lot of things, and pretty open-minded about a lot of s**t. My brother is a gay furry, half my friends have done drugs at some point, most of my best friends are gay, I'm technically bisexual myself, I'm a pagan, and so on, ad nosium. But this really takes the cake. I can't see how it would ever need to be explained except for some alien race of non-human creatures who are so strange and absurd that it would only make sense. I can't respect a story that features a male human being being pregnant or giving birth. I won't even read them, I just don't want anything to do with them. I will never watch that DeVito/Schwarzenerrer film, I will never write about a male human being going through pregnancy (unless it's in the perspective of a man who switches minds with a pregnant lady, and it's really a lady, but it is described from a mans perspective... But even then), I simply dislike it and am repulsed by it. And that's all I going to say on the subject, speaking as both a writer and a yaoi fan. On the subject my lips are now sealed.
