...the House passed tyranny, otherwise known as the America Free Health Choices act, in the dead of night by five votes. as far as I know, it has to pass the Senate as well, but """""""my""""""" representative (who doesn't represent me at all), André Carson, voted for it. Now I know who I'm not voting for next election (fortunately, Mike Pence, another representative from Indiana, did not). What exactly do you think this means? Find out how "your" representative voted

Thankfully, I'm from Utah, and my reps listen. All three from Utah voted "no".

That's good, but I'm beginning to think that our outcries are just like points in Who's Line Is It Anyways: they just don't matter.

If I didn't know my area Rep., Rob Bishop, better, I'd agree. To him, our comments do matter. Along with Jason Chaffitz (Salt Lake). Though, I'm not too sure about Matheson... Also, our Senate members are iffy as well... *Sigh* Someone tell me I matter, too!! crying

My Rep Steve King (IA) voted no but my other Rep Braley (ive never heard of this guy!) voted yes wich i think does not reflect the views of Iowa but hey we were a solid state for Obama last year so he doesnt represent MY views
I just hope the Dems dont come out and say they had bipartisan support They had 1 vote from the Republicans we had 39 votes from the dems i think our side had more bipartisan votes.
PS: i am not 18 and therefore do not have the right to vote.

I live in braley's district during the summer, that district contains waverly, Waterloo, Clinton, Dabuque, and Davenport, all of wich are fairly liberal. so as far as his district that does probably reflect the veiws of about 55 or so percent.

I bet that district was carefully Gerrymandered... actualy Iowa's districts are drawn pretty fairly. Iowa in general is just becoming more of a center-left state.

We allowed the gov to have too much control over our lives, and only we can take it back! Ehem... So, I'm from MI, yes the state where people stand in lines to recieve tax breaks and think it is from the president's "stash"... you can only guess my reps voted.

I would like to show those people where exactly the money is coming from, that is bring them to people who actually work, and explain to them that their selfishness is taking food out of the mouths of productive people. I also don't understand why black people are the first to hop onto these government programs, especially now. They're pretty much putting their kids and grandkids in the cotton fields next to their ancestors! because who's gonna have to pay for all this crap?

I think I know why they are the first people to hop onto the "free" bus. Because in the black communities, working to get ahead is generally a bad thing. Also, a lot of them seem to think they're entitled to it because of the treatment of their ancestors. I'm not saying that there aren't other races with entitlement issues, but most of the people who have those issues are either spoiled rich white kids or poor blacks.
