The Otherside is a large, rentable art studio. It has many specific rooms, for certain art forms, that one can rent out for a day to a week. It has supplies in all the rooms, but most people bring their own, what with the fact that each artist has their own preferrence for certain materials.

 Ayumu Umehara
Getting off the bus, Ayumu and Tatsuya found themselves in front of the art studio, The Otherside. "Here we are!" Ayumu pointed out. He practcally was practically wringgling with how excited he was, almost like a puppy.

 Tatsuya looked around, his curiosity finally being fed. "The Otherside...?" he read the name absentmindedly. He still wasn't getting what they were here to do, but the look on Ayumu's face was absolutely priceless. "You look like a kid in a candy store." Tatsuya laughed.

Ayumu smiled brightly at Tatsuya, before linking his arm with his boyfriend's. "C'mon, let's go!" he said, pulling the other boy intothe building. Once inside, he talked to a woman sitting at a desk and retrieved the key to the room he had rented. Ayu couldn't help blushing when the lady giggled at them, before thanking her and leading Tatsuya away.
"This is an art studio." he finally told him as they walked down a hall that was decorated with framed artworks. "You can rent special rooms here and stuff."

Tatsuya looked around at all of the artworks hung up with wide eyes. He'd never been much of an artist, but it all looked so interesting, almost like every piece of art had its own story. "So...are we going to be painting or something?" he asked, looking back at Ayumu.

Ayumu smiled playfully. "Something like that." he answered, still being just a little cryptic. As they came up to the room that Ayu hand rented, the artist set down one of his paint cans so he could unlock the door. Opening it, he smiled at what he saw. The room was big, and the walls were splattered with random colors of paint. On the wall accross from the doorway, there was a three feet by three feet canvas being held up by an easel, and it was surrounded by a large tarp, that was just as splattered as the wall, on the floor.
"We're gonna splatter paint on the canvas." Ayumu finally revealed, giving Tatsuya a mega-wot smile.

Tatsuya cocked his head as he observed the paint covered studio room. "How are we going to do that? Is there some special technique...?" he asked, feeling a little out of place. He'd been a little nervous ever since he'd been told this was an art studio. But splattering paint on a canvas didn't sound like a very difficult thing to do. In fact, it kind of sounded like fun. He pushed his insecurities out of his mind and returned Ayumu's smile with a relatively weak one.

Ayumu's smile didn't fade, and as he put all the paint on the floor a few feet away from the canvas he laughed softly. "Well, I've never done this before... But really, all you'll really need is good aim." he told him. Crouching down, he opened up the cans before standing again. He suddenly felt a little shy, and blushed slightly. "I wanted to do this with you, Tatsuya-kun... Because it would be something that we could do together." Ayu said, his smile turning bashful.

Tatsuya's smile brightened a little and he nodded his head. "Okay." he said, feeling a little more confident in himself. When Ayumu said he wanted to do this with him, he laughed warmly. "Thats so sweet of you." he said, leaning against Ayumu affectionately.

Ayumu blushed a little deeper as Tatsuya leaned against him, but giggled. Grabbing the other's hand, he puled him down into a crouching position with him. "So, what you do is dip your hand in the paint..." Ayumu dipped his hand tin the blue paint, "Then, you fling it." he finished, before stadnding up and throwing the paint at the canvas, making a blue splatter.
Laughing, he looked down at Tatsuya who was still crouching. "It feels weird on your hands."

"Umm, okay." Tatsuya said with a slightly nervous smile. He dipped his hand into the red paint and stood before quickly throwing it at the canvas. Tatsuya looked at Ayumu and laughed. "It really does feel weird." he said

Ayumu laughed and stooped down and dipped his other hand into the yellow paint. It made him smile to see that his and Tatsuya's initial splats mingled to make a bit of purple. Throwing his paint, he tried to get it close to the red splatter, so he could make a little orange. Not paying attention, Ayu rubbed his nose with his blue hand, making the tip of his mose blue. "This is fun." he said to his boyfriend, giving him a bright smile.

Tatsuya kept with the red and gave the canvas another splatter. When he heard Ayumu speak, he turned to look at him and found Ayumu had gotten blue paint on his nose. Tatsuya couldn't but laugh, as Ayumu seem completely unaway of what he'd done. "You've got a little something on your nose..." he said as he took his dry hand and rubbed as much of the paint off as he could. "There, thats better."

Ayumu blushed as it was pointed out that he had paint on his nose, but giggled when Tatsuya wiped it off. "Thank you!" he said, before swoopin down to dip his blue hand into the red paint as well, and his yellow back into the yellow paint. The sickly teen then threw both handfuls, making even more red, yelllow and orange color burst onto the canvas. He was really liking the dominace of warm colors, it made him feel warm and happy.
"These are all primary colors." he stated randomly, meaning the three cans of paint.

"You're welcome." Tatsuya scooped his dry hand in yellow paint and threw it, aiming for a big white spot in the bottom left of the canvas. "What does that mean?" he asked. He had never really been taught much about art, or anything at all, so all of this was new to him.
