Inspiration: Final Fantasy 8, Final Fantasy X-2, Magna Carta; Tears of Blood, Tales of the World; Radiant Mythology, Phantom Brave, Monster Hunter, Shadow Hearts and Dragoneer's Aria Its the 7th Era, year 22, year of the Black Cat, Seed Season.
A time when the lands are at relative peace. The lands of Cernta are ruled by King Tidez XVII. For over an Era now, the mercenaries; Tears Of Blood, have been fighting along the side of the King, the government and its people. Created at the end of the last Great War, they were formed by a Knight, with the permission of the King. They are mercenaries for hire so some of their jobs can be against what they believe. Highly trained experts who are trained from a young age; who attends an academy to learn everything they need to know about the TOB, only a selected few can pass the two tests and then it comes down to the commander of the Tears Of Blood to chose who can and cannot join.
The TOB holds some of the most important jobs in the lands of Thare. Widely respected. They fight to keep the peace but also to help people. They have a duty to protect the Dragon Gods, the world's Mana Tree along with its people and the royal family.

  In a time when death plagued the lands, the skies were as black as the darkness, beasts roamed the lands. Thunder roared, lightening lit the skies. The air echoed with the sounds of roaring, drowning out the screams of the tortured. It was "It" was born.
It is the darkness, the lord, the god, evil itself. Demons fear it, the darkness creatures run from it. Heaven banished it and hell doesn't want it. It doesn't care. It's home lays in the boundaries of time. As long as life is in existence, so does It.
It cannot die.
It cannot be killed.
Time keeps it alive.
It is in every dark heart.
In every shadow.
It is everywhere.
For centuries It reigned but one day, It disappeared. For Eons it has been silent...
The Tears Of Blood are a wide known mercenary group with loads of respect, however, years ago the TOB were formed due to a violent outbreak that exploded into a war. Which then further on spilled around the world. A team of united people from around the lands of Thare fought to stop the war and they succeed. With a cost of cause. However now the TOB are here. They protect the planet from another attempt of a war happening however how long can they keep this up?
In the deep dark regions of the coldest point on the planet, lives "It" with power like no other. For Eons it has been waiting for its time. For the time It will get It's revenge...
But is it revenge?
Is it just nature?

→ Secondly, I rate this Rp for at least 16 for violence (especially when the fights get a little bloody ... hm...blood 4laugh )
→ No Godmodding or Power-playing! No all powerful ANYTHING!!!!! Depending on the race of your character etc… they still CAN and MIGHT get hurt depending on the job they do. I know different races have different skills and abilities and endurance's...i know that so i am taking that into consideration.
→ All profiles are to be sent to me (obviously) and you have too and you must title them; "Tears Of Blood [character's name]" otherwise i will not even bother looking at your pm. Sorry. However if you want more then one character, then you send me a different pm for a different character. Also you cannot post until i have accepted your profile. Thank you.
→ I hope for at least three posts per week and if you cannot, and still want to be a part of the Rp, then warn me in advance (in the OOC or through Pms). Otherwise your character will be just taken off the list and you will be out the roleplay. Am not as mean as i sound.
→ As it is a Literate role-play, Now I do understand writers block etc… so I won’t jump down your throat if it isn’t. Its okay. Happens to us all. I expect at least two paragraph of about 10 - 20 lines. I swear if you can do more then i will be very, very happy heart I will forgive the occasional one largish paragraph ~ depends if your in a situation where you can't post a lot and if you are facing an enemy or fighting a friend then you have to wait for their response so understandable.
→ As for spelling and grammar. Putting a effort in to try and make sure you don’t have any mistakes would be wonderful but not everyone is perfect. We are simple minded humans after all. Even I make mistakes too…I make a lot of mistakes but I spell check everything first…but still I don’t get everything right, especially my grammar but i do try.
→ I would though prefer posts to be in the writing of size 10 or 11. I think they look quite neat and use a bit of colour would be lovely too. Decorate posts if possible, makes it the more fun to read.
→ You can have up too three characters each. If you wish. Although I find two more manageable there are some who just can handle more then two. Good on them too.
→ This is a long term role-play. If you get bored of it then fair enough but please do not join if you are just not going to post in the end. A way to get out of it, is to pm me saying so and get your character killed. However you can only kill character in battle/on job. If not, then I will just write off that you reassign. Simple.
→ Now just to make sure you read them can you think what am thinking? No maybe not but I would like to see a small little icon in your profile. No I want to see three different random icons in your profile when sent to me. I don’t care what either.Everything in the rules are subject to change depending on my mood and until the roleplay is complete. So please do not start sending me characters until i say so in the "profile setup post" otherwise you will just be ignored.

The jobs descriptions would say who the employer is. The the job type is. What the job is (so small description) and then its up the the Captain to give you the job so no one can choose the same job over and over and this would thereby allow you to have a selection of jobs. Also then the assign team leader for that job has to "report" back too the Captain. If "unable to find" then just say you went to the office and wrote complete on the job that you just did. Then i will cross it from the list. Simple enough?
For a while, the jobs will have absolutely nothing to do with the main storyline. If you have a sub-plot and jobs could help in that sub-plot we shall discuss it. Otherwise you will have to wait a while before any jobs have anything to do with the main storyline.
You will have to go to the job board to see the job that you have been assigned too. To read the details and its up to your team to have fun and do that job!
Okay the job types are:

- Monster Hunting
- Deliveries
- Picks up
- Searching and gathering
- “Treasure Hunting”
- Defending
- Attacking
- Assassinations
- A numerous numbers of odd jobs for locals of the towns, villages and cities
Your employers would be from the simple hard working people, to rich people, to the government and even King Tidez himself. Some jobs may even lead you out of your main home lands to the strange lands of another continent.
And there may be more jobs but they would fall under those categories.

I strongly recommend to look at the Tales of Thare - Archive collection page for details on the Mercenaries to understand the passing and acceptance process. As well as where schools are located for you can be accepted from anywhere in the world from the Captain.
If a Tears Of Blood members has been in service for more then 4 years, then they were around the time of the Tears of Blood's Darkest Hour ~ the changing of the TOB foundation. An painful and shocking event that shook the world and the foundation of the TOB. Thereby this would need to be mentioned in the Bio somewhere but not too much. Magic! There is a set magic of the world which is under the list of magic within the Tales of Thare - Information page. This is the list of magic that you can use in this world. So please read for this as well.
What i would like to see:
~ Individuality: Make everyone unique and different!! Extreme personalities may be allow.
~ Other Team Member: As a TOB you would know them and are advised to trust your team members and build that trust on them because it could be the meaning between life and death. However naturally you cannot get along with everyone.
~ Weapons: AHHHHHH!!!! I LOVE STRANGE WEAPONS. Try and not have the same weapon for everyone. Come on there are million different ones. Look at Soul Calibur! Look at those Final Fantasy Games! So many strange weapons. You don't even have to have one. You can just use your fists and feet like Zell, Tifa and other people in fighting games such as Dead Or Alive, Soul Calibur and a large number of fantasy games. Please enjoy creating new weapons or using weapons from any game you wish. Swords! There are hundred of different types, try and find different ones and the different names for them biggrin
~ Schooling: Graduation onto being a Tear does not happen easily. The shortest time is 5/6 years and it will take your characters that but sometimes longer if you start younger however if you really want to have a early graduation student, pm me first, give me a good reason to how and why please.

 This is where there will be the list of character relationships. Neutral and friendly one will not been added here. Only budding (blooming) romances (?), romance ones, love triangles, enemy or temporary animosity. So that is pretty much it. This is so we all know where the characters stands in relationships.
Does it make sense? I hope so...
When a character goes under any of these sections, either pm me or i will add it up on the list from my own point of view.
Budding Romances:
When there is a possible romance to bloom to a full on relationship or some sort of relationship. However these relationships doesn't always work out or even spoken of.

These are so people know you are in a relationship. Secret relationships: in love but not letting others know? These would be added here.

Love Triangles:
Love complications? Can happen. You love someone but someone else loves you and so on. Dear lord, it can be 3, 4 and even 5! Or more. So complicated but some what amusing (or not).

Temporary Animosity:
Something happened and soon you are at the throat of a fellow member who is the same back. However in time the wounds can heal or not.

Enemies:
You hate this person and they hate you back. Constant arguments but you only work together cause you are on the same side but that doesn't stop arguments that could mess up your operations or get you in trouble with the Captain. These can eventually turn to friendship (or even romance) or you could be stuck in the enemy zone...
