 In a world full of magic, monsters and dragons...
History is about to repeat itself...
Hey Guys,
Right this is the information page so you understand the world, it's rulers, dates, years and so on, for the role-play. If you haven't gathered by now, i like to create a new world. A world in which my role-play takes place in. This is a completely new world all inspired by games and so on as well as from my own stories and imagination. If you see names and similarities to other games, then don't worry about it, because i have taken them from there but used them completely different. Please enjoy the following information.

 Like all world's it took time and evolution to get here. Much of the history is still unknown on the world but the last Era is well known and so is this Era. The last four Eras were the longest, stretching on for hundreds, thousands and even millions of years. Though there was a time known as the pre-Era's, ancient history that to this day is still being discovered. It is believed that the Tidez family started back in the 5th Era at some point, when the world was dragged into a Great War. It was believed at one time the world was divided, each continent having its own royal family and set races however it was obvious there was tensions between the families. Some sided with one another whereas others didn't. The Great War broke out and the actual reason to why it started was lost in time. Soon the reason for the war was lost and pointless.
The Great War was an awful time. Millions suffered, but at the same time they were united. Many races hated one another but this was because of the country that they lived in and influences of their rulers. Though since the war started, and many years have passed soon that hatred was forgotten and soon people helped one another. An odd sense of kindness was brought out in many people, especially the ones not fighting. They helped one another and soon the Great War took a dramatic turn within a 100 years of the war. Yes they battled that long without a reason. A Era has not set time, thereby each Era varies in time but the Great War was classed as an Era, the fifth Era, as it lasted 150 years. In the last 50 years of the War, a man named Tidez came up, banding together the people who were helping one another. Everyone suffering from a pointless war. All the races that had united in the process knew it was hopeless and that they most probably would die but something had to be done. So they plotted and planned. They gathered others like them and worked in secret. Along side of Tidez was a man known as Ryu.
From the War, Tidez became King but what happened to the other Kings is unknown. Apparently they were killed by enemy assassins but there is rumours that it was how the Tidez family came into power. However the Tidez family is very respectful and loving of the people. Being a great dictator and leader, with love and support of people, Tidez was crowned King but not just of one continent but the whole world.
For all of the 6th Era the lands were ruled by one man only however King Tidez XVI took it upon himself to find suitable men and women to take the "Throne's" of all the countries around the world. Even though Tidez is still seen as the world's power fullest family with control over these selected "royals" it gives the man more time with his family and less stress. He cannot be everywhere at once. Even though the people are not called King and Queen, they are Lords. Tidez family is still control of the "World" in a sense along with his council and these Lords along with their own personal councils. They all get together about four times a year to discuss and for large events.
This was the beginning of the 7th Era...
"In a time when death plagued the lands, the skies were as black as the darkness, beasts roamed the lands. Thunder roared, lightening lit the skies. The air echoed with the sounds of roaring, drowning out the screams of the tortured. It was "It" was born.
It is the darkness, the lord, the god, evil itself. Demons fear it, the darkness creatures run from it. Heaven banished it and hell doesn't want it. It doesn't care. It's home lays in the boundaries of time. As long as life is in existence, so does It.
It cannot die.
It cannot be killed.
Time keeps it alive.
It is in every dark heart.
In every shadow.
It is everywhere.
For centuries It reigned but one day, It disappeared..."
This is one of the earliest translations that still confuses some of the world's brightness minds whereas many has given up trying to understand this.and so pass it on as a legend. Something that never truly existed.
Though everything in history has to have some truth in them other wise, why would the legends begin?

If a person has a 10% level of chi then they have the chi level of a new born and thereby shouldn't be able to think or do anything unless its something of a newborn. Then again it can be questionable if a person should be able to live. Even a dead body has about 10% of chi or left in their bodies as they lay dead.
Chi is a complex thing. The lost of chi could result in the lost of memory. Chi composes the body and losing any of it could have major side effects. The older you get the more chi you gain and will get stronger in magic.
Chi can be channelled into weapons but this is a lost art but some places still teach this. Everyone is capable of placing chi into their weapons but it comes to being able too channel it. This is normally only seen in anger or determined people but it is rare and a hard thing to attain. Many years ago it use to be quite easy. There are specialised people in the world, only a few, who can channel Chi into healing a human body from illness. Memory loss in the world has been linked with the lost of Chi in the body.
Chi levels of a person growing up:
New born Baby - 10%
1yrs - 3yrs - 20%
4yrs - 8yrs - 30%
9yrs - 12yrs - 40%
13yrs - 18yrs - 70% (it increases during the time of puberty)
19yrs upwards - 100%
60yrs to death - 50%
Dead people - 10% and it lowers over time. Its take about 2000 years for a body to loose all chi. As long as the body has chi left in it, then it can be summoned through necromancy.
As well as Chi types. Mana surrounds the world. Mana is what keeps the world alive and comes from the world's Mana Tree known as the "Sacred Mana Tree". A very old tree that is extremely large. It has a small town at its base and in its roots that are above the ground which the people their keep the Tree protected. Mana is used in magic and alchemy. Depending on the spell you use, you would use a certain mana type. Of course people do not usually think about this nor do they really consider the use of mana unless the person is a alchemist.
As well as from the Mana Tree, the mana also has assigned Gods. If a mana type seemingly "dies" down then it becomes very dangerous for the God of that Mana can become weak. The Dragon Gods and mana are closely linked. They feed off one another. If a Dragon God becomes ill or dies, then the mana of the type under its control would become very weak and unstable - the mana tree would keep it in the area but cannot control it. If the mana Tree was destroyed, then the mana type would disappear altogether.

What is the difference?: Chi is what composes the human body and it grows and weakens over time. With the lost of great amount of Chi could kill a person. Mana is what is used for magic and alchemy.

Each Season starts as followed; 30th Juns to 30th Juns the next year.
E.g to explain this; So it is the 13th Mas. The year of the Earth Turtle but you was born before the 30th Juns, so you would be born in the year of the Blue Snake. Unless was born on 30th Juns then you would be a Earth Turtle.

Name: Chronus
Pronounce: "KRON-uss"
Height: 7ft
Eyes: Purple
Colour: Purple and silver
God of: Time
Appearance: Stands about 7ft tall and walks on all fours. Chronus is a proud looking dragon, head always held high, he keeps the same colour eyes. He has two large silver horns on his head a small one on his nose. His wings that of looking like bats, they are about the length of his body from the head to the beginning of the tail. The tail is the small length of his body and thinners out to the end. Small silver spikes from the back of his neck all the way down to the tail end. The scales are that of a deep purple colour and shine a silver like colour. The claws of its feet are silver as well.
Personality: Chronus is a very lonely and very cold person. He keeps his distance more and finds it hard to love anyone or care for people. He is always distance and his only friend usually is Grim Sage but besides that he has a lonely life. Chronus hates himself and wishes that he could disappear as well as not ever understand another persons emotions. He sees life differently to other gods and humans and so he never seems to socialize however he has a caring, protective nature when called for and will lay down his power and life to protect.
Name: Charna
Pronounce: "CHAR nah"
Height: 9ft
Eyes: Red
Colour: Black and red
God of: Darkness
Appearance: She is a 9ft tall. She is a beautiful large “western” style dragon. Nothing about her screams “Darkness”. Her scales are black but in the light shimmer red in colour. Not a dark red even. A bright cheerful red. Her claws are red and her wings are about the same length as her body in total. She has three horns on her head that are red and silver in colour but no spikes down her back. Her tail is elegant and beautiful. At the end though is multiple red spikes that can be deadly if they strike anyone.
Personality: Charna is a an motherly person and doesn't have any form of anger. She is soft spoken and is gentle. Charna finds it hard to get angry with anyone and saying anything mean is impossible for her. Overly protective, she is afraid to fight in any way and tends to get upset very easily. She hides in the underworld and is good friends with the Lord of the Underworld. Charna has a huge crush on Ignaas but is to shy to say anything to him and she gets very nervous and clumsy around him.
Name: Dritan
Pronounce: 15ft
Height: N/A
Eyes: gold
Colour: Gold and white
God of: Light
Appearance: Wings of pure silver and white feathers, this dragon was a little different to the normal dragons that she has read about in books and seen in movies. The dragon has similar to that of western legends of dragons, its feather wings rested behind it as it landed, two magnificent silver horns rested on its head, a long white tail curled up around the circle almost fully going round the circle.
Personality: He may at first appear to be one of the gentle and caring dragons but really is a twisted dragon. Dritan has a hatred to the other dragons and the people of Thare. Thereby he is a very asocial Dragon and is very hard to talk too.
Name: Avanindra
Pronounce: "AH vahn EEHN drah"
Height: 6.5ft
Eyes: Brown
Colour: Brown - earthly colours
God of: Earth
Appearance: Compared to the other dragon's he is a very unique. He stands on two and appears more human like then dragon, despite his appearance is naturally dragon. Fully covered in scales his hands and feet are similar to dragon claws. His arms a little longer then human arms, he is built for speed and power. A true protector appearance. Wings grown from his back, a tail about the small length as him from head to foot. His colours of the earth blend nicely with one another. He can be called a “half-dragon” person but he is all dragon.
Personality: Avanindra is a quick talker and eager to get into a fight. He seems to have an anger problem sometimes but he will talk and help people willingly. He tends to scare people at first but his heart is soft and pure. He is in touch with mother earth and a guardian to the Mana Tree.
Name: Era
Pronounce: "EYR ah"
Height: 12ft
Eyes: Green
Colour: Blue, green, silver and gold
God of: Wind
Appearance: Looks like a long snake with feather wings. The scales of its body is a deep blue and golden in colours. Its wings are long and large and not the typical dragon wings. They are made of feathers and are a mixture shade of green and blue with the shimmer of silver and gold. She has no legs or arms and so is always flying so her wings were built for flying and herself is build for speed. Not built for pure fighting but she herself is very useful to have around.
Personality: Loving and sweet. She is a gentle soul who speaks in a loving manner. Prefers not to fight and wishes for peace. Very good at giving advice.
Name: Mizuko
Pronounce: "MEE zoo koh"
Height: 10ft
Eyes: light blue
Colour: Blue - multi shades
God of: Water
Appearance: Looks a lot similar to that of Era, the wind dragon, expect her wings are not feathers. They are more like “fish-tail“ in design. The scales of its body is a range of multiple blue and when the light reflects off them, then they shimmer in a rainbow of blue. Its wings much smaller then that of Era’s as she isn‘t made for flying, more for swimming. She has no legs or arms and is usually seen swimming and she is built for speed.
Personality: Another kind soul of the dragons but very jokey and childish. She is very playful of all the dragons but she is a little more clumsy then other dragons but very loyal, protective and caring.

The Gods and Goddesses of the Heaven's are more of the Gods/Goddesses that give Thare "Life". They watch over Thare from a far and control the ways of life and what gives us Life. There is a large temple in each of the Capitals of the world, that has a statue of all 8 of them in one place. Where you can pray and give thanks.

The Reaper (a.k.a Grim Sage, Grim Reaper ) is seen as a God by many but the thing is, Grim Sage is not a God. Just a collector of souls, who has been around since the beginning of time. Since Chronus' appearance, Grim Sage has been about. Many people believe that the Reaper is a God. Very few know the difference.
Some people believe that the God of Sleep and the Goddess of Dreams are lover "demons" who invade people's dreams by putting them asleep and then feeding off the dreamer's fear.
Now the following are the Sins. The Sins are seen as the demon Gods. Just cause people worship the Demon Gods, doesn't mean they worship these. Like the Virtue Gods, there is one temple for each of these Gods spread through out the world. They are the "Lost" Gods/Goddesses of Hell. The Temple are in ruins and lost to time but some people still believe in them. Please not that the Sin Gods are actually the "first" angels who committed a sin and was banished to Earth. After all Demons are only fallen angels. Where as others don't and believe they are just Demons;

Besides this, the Tidez family is very well loved and they had started up a new "program" of having Lords in charge of all the other countries beginning the new Era. However they have a much darker history that has been written and sealed away within the castles walls. They are never to be released until the day that they are dethroned. Not much is known about this family but that they arrived in the time towards the end of the 5th Era. It is known that they arrived towards the end of the war, helping to people who have united during the war. He led them to freedom and he begin King by popular demand of the people in the world.
However there has been speculation, especially in the early years of the Tidez's family rule. That they have no "royal blood" and it was them who committed the assassinations of the Kings which left the countries in confusion and their councils confused and wondering what to do and he just waltzed in and spoke with them. "Persuading" them one at a time. So that meant that the assassinations happened one at the time and one by one the council got behind him by force or agreement and with that "power" behind him, he was able to take to Throne very easily. Though people are not sure if this is truly a bad thing because he did stop the war and restore peace that took at least eight full generations for the world to be pulled into order. It is seen as bad because he committed the worst possible crime there is in this world.
Though the truth is unknown and there are other rumours. Such as Tidez family being the long lost relation to one of the family relations, among other things.

Worldwide Celebrations:
29th Juns / 30th Juns - New Year celebration: when they celebrate the coming new year the night before and stay up until the rise of the new morning sun and make a wish. It is a long time tradition. During the night celebration they would have a "holy tree" outside where they would write all their names on a piece of paper and then tie it to the tree with silver string. It is said when the new sun rises, all their bad luck/regrets/thoughts and feelings and so on would be cast away and forgotten and forgiven. Preparing them for the new year. Then later that they they would visit a nearby temple or church where they would engage in celebrations. During the festival that is being held, everyone draws a fortune for the luck they will get that year and if it is a bad luck is written on, then they would have to tie it to the holy tree within the first two hours of the drawing it so that luck can be cast away along with the bad of the year before. It is a time of peace, happiness and forgiveness.
5th Mars is the beginning of the Seed Season so a celebration takes place then. A world wide celebration that involves dressing up in the "season" colours and enjoy the day and night's party and enjoyments. The people would have to dress up in greens, pinks, oranges and sky blues. What they would have to wear is similar to that of Japanese kimonos of a colour or a mixture of those colours. Any design is fine.
4th Jins is the beginning of the Sun Season so a celebration takes place then. A world wide celebration that involves dressing up in the "season" colours and enjoy the day and night's party and enjoyments. The people would have to dress up in whites, reds, purples and yellows. What they would have to wear is similar to that of Japanese kimonos of a colour or a mixture of those colours. Any design is fine.
9th Seps is the beginning of the Leaf Season so a celebration takes place then. A world wide celebration that involves dressing up in the "season" colours and enjoy the day and night's party and enjoyments. The people would have to dress up in browns, oranges, reds and greens. What they would have to wear is similar to that of Japanese kimonos of a colour or a mixture of those colours. Any design is fine.
8th Decis is the beginning of the Snow Season so a celebration takes place then. A world wide celebration that involves dressing up in the "season" colours and enjoy the day and night's party and enjoyments. The people would have to dress up in whites, blacks and grey. What they would have to wear is similar to that of Japanese kimonos of a colour or a mixture of those colours. Any design is fine.
For each season celebration there is a day or two preparation and the places are usually covered in lanterns for night times, large fire works displays for the ending of the night. Dancing. Food. Games. Stalls and so on. All colours are of different shades for each season.

From this, the early ones created code names which later on moved to the Mercenary Group Names. Where their headquarters were, they created the main base for the teams. There are 5 bases in the world one each continent expect on the Snowy Isles. So along side of this there are 5 different schools too. As the years passed, from what was just a training school for fighting that took 1 to 2 years of intense training, the schools now focus on other things. This has then created a 5 - 6 year training program at a school A student now joins at the age of 13 - 16 years old. Some of the things they learn about;
- In field skills from the classroom
- Working under pressure
- Fighting #1 - Hand to hand; there are trainers of all forms of fighting styles in the world. The student can choose what class they attend. Only exceptional students can take on two.
- Fighting #2 - Weapon Training; Students choose their own weapon from a large array and train in that style. This is very independent base.
- Geography and geology
- Rules of the Mercenaries
- History of the world
- In field training and do basic jobs to get them into the swing of things (cannot allow students to do dangerous missions)
...and there are other things they need to learn about as well but these are normally seen as the main ones. As well as this they would normally graduate around the ages of 18 - 21 years old but the average age is 19. They do have it that if they fail their exam at the end of the five years they can retry the next year but they only get two attempts of a resit and each resit involves a year of intense revision and then doing the final exam again. So some people don't graduate until the age of 23 - 24 years old the latest. Majority of the students pass the first year and if they do fail they normally pass the second time around, some students are not given a second chance but are helped in getting another job like joining the military/knights. The classes are normally only small but sometimes they can be large and thereby not everyone after graduating can go onto to be a Mercenary. Some can go on to being knights - very talented Knights - and some would work for the "Elder Council" but will not be on the council. There are some who can get other normal day jobs. The Captain's of a Mercenary team are there for the final exams and they choose from that really. They have their own private exam that the students do not know about because they don't want them to fake it.
Any students would be kicked out of the academy if they showed lack of interest in what they were learning and constantly failing exams or handing in work very late. Its like a normal school. However there are times when money gets the better of the academy leaders and elder council. As well as that, depending on the families name and reputation could effect the student in if they are kicked out or not for failing to show interest.
The final exam is broken into three exams, well four if you count the secret exam. The Captains watch from afar, out of sight of the students when this is happening. The Exams involve a 2-part exam that is two long, 3 hour papers. So a lot of writing but each one is held on different weeks and could be on anything. On one of their exams they are given a situation and are asked to answer questions. The other would involve a standard exam that would be equivalent to as college diploma. Its very mentally based work for both exams. The second part of the exam would be a survival exercise. Placed into a middle of no where with a map and in a team and they have to survive with their knowledge and talents, in a team and they have one week to get to the meeting point. In this exercise it is known that students have been seriously hurt. If students are not back in a week, they they activate the tracers on their wrists and a team goes in to extract them. If something really bad happens and a student is obviously not going to survive, they can use a blue flare to show this. If a student or students cannot cope, they would use a green flare. The last exam is a semi-dangerous in field exam that would involve them to demonstrate their fighting abilities, skills to work under pressure and in field skills, ability to make decisions and team work. Obviously this means that the students would be placed into a team and sent out into a job which could go disastrously wrong. Many students have been hurt but some of those who were hurt have been accepted into the Mercenaries. Dropping out of an exam would mean failure straight away. No two students have their survival and in field exam on the same day or week. So all year exams are taking place.
The secret forth exam is them being observed and watched by the Captains and they have a check list. From this they choose some students to join the Mercenaries. It is said that the real exam is from the Captain's observations. The students are judged on;
Conduct: How the student behaves within the mission and within their team.
Judgement: The decisions he/she makes and the effect of them upon the mission.
Attack: How aggressive and skilful the student is during the mission.
Spirit: How brave and/or determined the student is during the mission.
Attitude: Judges the student's moral and professional behaviour during the mission.
The teachers make it seem "vital" for all students to pass exams, even written ones however if there are occasionally special cases. Since the Captains have the say in who joins the mercenaries and who doesn't, a student could absolutely flung the written exam but still be chosen to join.Though they would need to pass the other two exams and in the written one, show that they know what they mean but it came out wrong or something. The schools are not discriminating agaisnt races so if they needed extra help (like standard schools), the students would get it. If a person lacks the ability to read or write, or suffer from learning disabilities they would received special support so they do not miss any of their exams, deadlines for assignments and all written work in their five years of the school.

Moving on from the graduation service, there is the different schools and mercenaries. The different schools are:
- Trabia: Located on Sentaret, East of Farcaster in the mountains
- Galbadia: Located on Cernta, North to the Capital City of Adacna
- Selinia: Located on Cryodill, Just on the boarder of the desert West to Inin
- Kenabia: Located on Kyonton, West to Otoyk
- Mitinet: Located on Retapon Isles, 3rd small isle to the South.
