I`ve tried out quite a few, but decided upon being not tied to any one religion because there are things that I both agree with and disagree with in many religions.
For example: -I believe in gods and goddesses, but not just one. I also don`t think they look like humans, but more animal spirits. -I believe in angels and demons, but not any one, all powerful devil. -I think that most celestial beings are only used as metaphors for what is inside every person, and people are responsible for their individual actions. -I think that natural disasters are just that, not an act of an angry god or devil.
Just my personal views, you asked, I answered. I respect that everyone else has their own opinion and will never try to push my beliefs on themout of this respect, which I hope is mutual.

personally, I don't follow any religion, but I respect the beliefs of others and let them decide what they want to believe in.

I was baptized Catholic, but in their eyes I'm supposedly going to hell for saying this: I really don't know what to believe. All I know is I can't really believe in being a Catholic. Because they have a narrow-minded view of the world and have no respect for what others believe. Instead, they have to convert everyone else.
I hate that. And... so it brings me back to: I just really don't know what to believe. I guess, if it counts, I believe in karma and reincarnation. Possibly a higher power.
I believe in the Golden Rule: Treat others as you want to be treated.
I also respect what others say and have nothing against it, so I ask, even though I'm undecided in my beliefs, please don't try to strong arm me into anything. I'm actually okay with being undecided. I'll just live my life and see where it takes me. Then decide in the end. Procrastinator to the end.

When I was growing up my parents never went to church, so After I left them I took classes to be a Luthern. I stopped going to church after we kept getting statements from the church.
About a month ago I started taking some Wicca classes, but I have not been studying lately (due to concentrating on finding another job). We'll that's my story and I'm sticking to it.

That's pretty much me, except my fam doesn't know that and if you tell them you're gonna need evience...they think I'm Christian or whatever...and the whole "golden rule" thing...I trweat others how they treat me. If we want to be treated the way that we treat others then people who are annoying and hostile must want you to be annoying and hostile right back. And that I believe when we die we end...that's it. lolz, one of my best friend's despises it cause he's a really religious Christian...he stop trying to convert me into a Christian or whatever though. Until the subject comes up again atleast, but it's not like we ever argue about it. btw, something to laugh at: This one blames Burger King Too..This one says that Hasbro and Nintendo want to "corrupt a child's innocence and create a future army of junior Satanists that will one day rule the world!"

Well, if Christianity keeps rejecting people they won't have anyone left to follow them. So they'll change the rules. They are already doing it with some things. Which I find makes me even more uneasy. How can I trust in a faith that keeps changing its rules on me?

People can be real jerks when it comes to religion. "My way or the highway." As far as my family goes, the subject usually never comes up. If it does, I normally shrug it off. My mom was baptized Catholic but I actually get my open-minded nature from her. She and I share the same opinions on that. My grandmother, now, she's forgiving and all, but I think she's a bit upset with us both LOL. She is VERY religious. She prays the rosary every morning at 6:15, volunteers at the church's food shelf every Monday and Wednesday, and of course never misses a Sunday mass, unless she's very ill. But she's a very kind person. Unlike a lot of fanatics nowadays. My dad's side is Luthern (so I guess that could explain some of my undecided traits as well) and they aren't as... strict. I did, however go to a Catholic school when I was younger, and a lot of times was treated like crap. Anywho, getting back to the topic at hand... The whole after death concept, who really knows right? I'd like to think there is something there but maybe not. Pretty much, I won't give it much thought and I'll live my life like I'll only live once. If there really is such a thing as reincarnation, then I guess we all luck out, right? 3nodding

It's good for people to be open-minded. But most seem to think open minded is being hit in the head with an ax...Xb
