"What happened to you Boregon?" A young man with short brown hair wearing a white T-shirt tucked into blue jeans stood in front of the blind mage. All Boregon saw was a six foot two blue figure with no defining features, the red blindfold still in place. "How the hell did you lose your sight?"

"The heavens rejected me, took away my love and my sight." Boregon informed. He was always calm when talking about his past; a sad fact that he had learned that it's not worth crying over. He was sitting cross legged three inches off the ground, his arms crossed over his chest. He generally meditated by using mana to make him lighter and energy to hold him steady. "I am taking my punishment fairly."

"Punishment?!" The younger man nearly bellowed. His face was twisted with disbelief and aggravation over Boregon's forthrightness and pride. "Why in the world would the gods punish you for falling in love?"

"That is not your concern, Jason." He stated, starting to sound slightly irritated. The younger man had always pushed is buttons and claimed that he was a fool. Generally the argument ended when Boregon lit Jason's shoe on fire, but today, Jason came bare footed. "Besides, don't you have women to chase?"

"Right." Jason chuckled. "Ever since I got this damned mechanical arm everyone except you has been calling me a heretic.

"You have a mechanical arm?" Boregon looked in mock surprise. "You heretic!" The sarcasm was heavy in his voice and he smirked as he slowly dissipatedly the mana and energy to allow himself to stand at his full six foot height.

"Yeah, real wise." Jason couldn't help but grin, but he kept his right arm, the mechanical one, within reach of the 9mm at his left side. "Besides that, I'm always guarding you from whatever, so I don't have time to date."

"Bull." Boregon called his bluff, and Jason was happy Boregon couldn't see him blush. "You're afraid."

"Afraid of what?!" Jason inquired, shrugging.

"That's the question you need to answer," Boregon turned to Jason and smiled, "young grasshopper." As he added the last, he chuckled lightly.
