Alice Deejay....
"Better off alone," right?
You see...with Trance on its own (and with every sub genre of EDM) there are even more sub genres.
So the various forms of trance are (all mat not be listed):
Acid[/ur] (a decent sample), Banging (notice the heavy 4/4 bass?),
Classic (old skool s**t ^^. Usually a hit and becomes "classic" with a few years.),
Club Trance (most common type of trance. Most often heard, usually on the radio and stuff),
Cyber (if this isn't starting to belnd together, then you are doing alright. ^^ Anywways...Cyber is the standard 808 synth line stuff with your sci-fi quotes dispearsed here and there),
Dark (Well, the name really explains this....more dark stuff, to give a sense of forboding. Can get REALLY creppy even almost demonic
eek ),
Deep (closely related to Driving an Epic Trance. Its the stuff taht makes you loose it 9 times out of 10 [if the DJ uses it correctly...]),
Etheral (also know as Vocal Trance. Very melodic stuff.)
Those are jsut a few...there's more, but the sub generes of the subgenres are mostly for DJs anyways...
As for your question: Alice Deejay's stuff usually falls withing the Progressive/Club type of stuff, and at some times could be considered vocal.
*takes a breath*
That post took a while.
