Trainer Classes
Classes have to have at least one example of certain Pokemon on them at all times. This is just to make it more interesting in Class picking. Some are somewhat vague in their requirements like Youngster have to have "Common" Pokemon, this means like Ratatta or Pidgey. Just use common sense or ask me/Raven_Silverclaw. Also if you have the evolved form of a certain required Pokemon then that is fine.

Getting Started
The first part to getting started is picking your Class and Hometown. Your Class effects what kind of Pokemon you must pick as your starter, and later on what kind of Pokemon you must have in your party (EX: if you are a Channeler you only need 1 Ghost/Cubone in your party, the other 5 can be whatever you want)

Each Hometown only has only certain Starting Pokemon you can pick also, so pick both wisely.

Your starting Pokemon must be a Pokemon that can evolve (meaning you cannot pick something like Kangaskhan or Sneasel that does not evolve.).

You can only have 6 Pokemon on you at any one time, the rest of the Pokemon you catch are teleported to the PC.

This RP is more based on the Games Red, Blue, Yellow, Gold, and Silver than the Anime, although there will be inspiration taken from the Anime as well. Also you cannot have any Pokemon from the later generations.

Rare Pokemon are Rare. Meaning all of the Legendary Pokemon are only one of a kind and will be VERY difficult to catch. Snorlax, Chansey, Lapras, Ancient Pokemon, and others are also Rare so don't expect to find them often.

Evolution, if you need a stone then you will have to find one or buy one. If in the games you need to trade the Pokemon ignore that and just evolve them normally.

Also Weaknesses and Strengths are very important and must be followed in battles. I do not have the time or effort to explain all of the strengths and weaknesses and everything else so go to this website and look up your Pokemon and what Types are strong or weak against other Types:

Pokemon can only know 4 moves at a time, these moves can be whatever they learn before they reach their Evolution level. (Charmander can't learn Flamethrower because it is after he evolves into Charmeleon). TMs and HMs exist but have to be earned, found, or bought.

History: Raven has always liked to travel around and hike up mountians.
She can appear to be more of a tomboy then anything but she has a girly side as well. Raven has a weak spot for cute thigns as well. Finally about to get her new pokemon she is out too see the world and try and catch and train all the toughest and cutest pokemon out there! Even if Raven has a strange warp on what cute really is sometimes.

Nero walked the dark corridors of Pokemon Tower in silence. The only light came from the many candles for each of the Pokemon graves. As he proceeded Channelers chanted in tongues. He then came to the top floor, where the Elder's resided. He kneeled before the Head Channeler. "Are you ready to receive your partner for your quest of helping restless spirits?"

"Yes Master," Nero replied. All of a sudden Nero felt rough wetness slide up against his cheek. His cheek then went numb and a Gastly appeared. The ghost laughed at him.

"Have fun," the master replied.

"Ok Gastly, I think I should give you a name.... how does Yurei sound?" Nero said.

Gastly floated beside him, and then though on it for a moment before noddingly vigorously.

Nero smiled, "ok, good.... So... I guess it is time to go on our quest."

Raven bounced up and down in her seat. "Well I don't know what would fit you Rae Rae..." Her father said as he looked at the pokeballs.

"Whats in them....?" She tried to peek over but it wasn't like there was labels on them.

"Oh stop teasing her honey let her choose!" Her mother replied.

He chuckled and made Raven jump for them as she snatached up five pokeballs she starred at them hard and then decided on one.
"Your not going to look at them?" Her mother asked curiously.

"No this one is mine!" Raven said as she grabbed a ball up. "Thats all I need he is a ground type right? Because you know I am going to be traveling a lot I need a tough one!"

"Of course we made sure now let me see what you got." Her mother said excited now because she didn't know which one Raven got.

Raven smiled. "Ummm of course goooo....." She threw the ball and waited.

"PHANPY!" It exclaimed excited but a little shy at being starred at so intently.

"OH..... MY....GOSH!" Raven attacked it with a hug. "Its sooo cute aren't you my little Phanpy!?"

It seemed to try and scramble away not ready to be attacked with a hug so tight. Easily getting out of her grasp by pushing her away with its trunk. Raven smield at how strong it was already in its adorable little form.

"Okay Okay lets go Phanpy my name is Raven Rae for short if you like. Lets go." She had her pack ready and was walking out the door. Phanpy followed her curiously and catiously. Raven took out a map and looke dat it and showed it to Phanpy,"You see this route? We are taking it to diglet cave by the time we get there you'll be nice and strong!" She exclaimed happily.

"Love you mom and dad. I will call you when I get ot the next town promise!" She practically ran out of the town ecxcited. Her little Phanpy bouncing behind her seemed to catch onto the mood quite quickly.

Nero traveled by walking for the most part, and hitchhiking rides when he could. To his delight he found it difficult to find restless spirits so he and Yurei moved quickly. Eventually he reached Celadon City. This city was a place of lights and fun all the time. He was amazed at how large it was, compared to Lavender town.

As he walked the streets in awe Yurei stayed invisible, mostly because he liked to have fun scaring Pokemon and people, but also he didn't want the excessive stares.

Raven smiled after walking for so long it was good to relax. But Celeadon city wasn't the place it seemed. Everyone was moving fast and Raven almost got ran over a couple of time by people on bikes.
"Okay sorry Phanpy but I am going to put you in your pokeball. Its dangerous to be out here..."
Phanpy agreed to it anyways considering its shy nature had kicked in and was only really use to Raven. Raven sighed and found a store it seemed to be all about games though so she left it quickly. Although the department store caught her eye so she went there to see if she could find Phanpy and herself soemthing nice.

The Department store was huge, with several levels and a lot going on on each floor. It seemed you could buy anything you could ever want for your Pokemon, from beds, grooming kits, and treats to vitamins, potions, and great balls.

Nero also came to this store to look around. He was particularly interested in the Pokeballs and potions since he wished to expand his Pokemon and not have to return so often to the cities. He didn't really worry about food though since Gastly didn't eat food.

Raven was holding up diffrent potions and what not and looking at them. "I wonder which one tastes better?" She didn't want to force nasty liquids down her phanpy's throat if she could help it. But putting one back up she managed to almost drop a whole shelf of them. Grabbing up as many as she could she heard two shatter on the ground. Hastily placing the others up and looking around as to see if anyone saw her do it.
Of course someone had. Raven blushed embarassed as a very mad looking shop keeper looked at her.

"You have to pay for those now."

"I didn't mean too...." Raven said looking through her money and sighed. She had enough for them but now what would she get Phanpy? She only had enough for one treat and one potion... which sucked she had wanted to pamper her new pokemon some.

Nero noticed the girl drop the Potions and had to smirk. That is why he looked at the spraying kinds of potions with plastic bottles, much more durable. (Did you never watch the anime!?!?!?!?! lol XD). A couple moments later the lights all went out in the department store. There were some screams and the room started to fill with smoke. When the lights came back on men and women in black uniforms were everywhere, along with Koffings, Weezings, Grimers, Muks, and other poison Pokemon. One of them shouted, "everyone on the floor! and don't move!"

Raven seemed to be a bit confused but she complied getting on the ground as asked. She saw them traveling around the room seeming to take stuff and ruin things. It upset her that they were so mean to these people that owned this place. The shopkeepers were just trying to make a living and they were just a gang of bad guys.
"Go Phanpy!" She threw her pokeball and Phanpy looked around confused. It looked back at Raven like saying are you serious?
Raven wasn't going to stand by and let them push everyone around.

Nero was already well ahead of the clumsy girl when she sent out her Pokemon. He tossed an X Attack, X Defend, X Speed, X Accuracy, and a Dire Hit to the girl. Then Gastly appeared beside him and he showed her how to use them by spraying them on your Pokemon. "Gastly! Use Hypnosis!"

Gastly chuckled and then stared into the eyes of a Muk and a Koffing. Both fell asleep. The Rockets who owned those Pokemon started cursing. "Great! Now use Lick!" Gastly licked their Pokemon, so in addition to being asleep they were now paralyzed as well.

Raven fumbled with catching the stuff and applied it on phanpy quickly. "Use tackle phanpy." She pointed to a grimer. Phanpy ran over and plunged into the smushy creature as hard as it could. Although it threw Phanpy off gaurd to have soemthing soft to hit the grimer actually seemed very hurt by the impact.
The rocket seemed slightly worried but got the grimer to tackle Phanpy as well. Phanpy didn't seem to take much damage and retorted back with another tackle dropping it. Phanpy was very strong for such a small body. Phanpy looked for the next opponent to tackle. Seeming happy to have won this fight.
Raven jumped up and almsot went to hug her pokemon for its win but didn't as there was a koffing in front of Phanpy before she knew it.
