The Lion King 1, 1 1/2 and 2
Myth or fact?
The Lion King's plot was influenced by Hamlet
- Fact! The story of a man killing his brother to become king is definately there. However in Hamlet the guy marries his brothers wife, and Scar did not like SARABI!
Scar had the hots for Sarafina (Nala's mom, maybe sarafine idk)
- Possible, apparently there's a book right? but then Wikipedia says that the lion king was completely disneys idea so im confused. Youtube has shown me many videos about Scar or Taka's life as a child. And apparently he was in love with Sarafina. Could Scar be Nala's father? Eiether him or Mufasa has to be so it seems very likely.
Simba is gay/bi
- Plausible. There is outstanding evidence in LK2 to support that simba likes boys. Or atleast he likes Kovu. I don't blame him Kovu is the hottest animated lion but if i was a happily married guy i wouldnt like another guy with a girlfriend. Anyways some clues to this: "Kiara, you can't talk to him... I want to talk to him" "Its a cold night, why dont you come inside" point made?
Fun Facts
---> Kovu a cute cat was played by Jason Marsden who played another cute cat . . . Thackary Binx in Hocus Pocus! But dont confuse him with my favorite actor, James Marsden
---> The Lion King movies are FULL of subliminals. We all know about the "sex" in the clouds. But my favorite is the quote by Kovu to kiara "We'll run away together and start a pride all our own" its the way he says it that gives away the hidden meaning.
---> The Lion King lions have 4 ages, new born-child-teen-adult. You see newborn simba at the beginning of LK and newborn kiara at the end of LK and the beginning of LK2. Teen Simba can be found in just 2 situations. Crossing the log bridge in "Hakuna Matata" and in the snail eating scene in LK11/2. Teen Kiara and Kovu can be found in most of LK2. Child Simba is in Lk, and child kiara and kovu are in LK2 (the scene when they meet is epic). Adut simba is in all three movies in several instances, while kovu and kiara never appear as adults.

Aparently people don't think Simba makes the better king! But if u think about it....He repaired the entire Pridelands! At the end of the first Movie, The Pridelands were burned to ashes and there were no animals left! Simba restored the Pridelands by himself before he even had his child (Kiara)!
