 StoryIn a small city in Maine, there exists an intricate social web of all sorts of creatures, and it is into this city that we will be stepping. Diving in to discover the stories of its inhabitants.
Starting with the night realm, the prominent vampires have been spawned from one source; a pair of brothers. No one knows how old they are, a couple hundred years, vaguely, but their names are well known; Xigbar and Xaldin. They’re said to have vicious reputations, making other vampires think twice before tangling with them. Each has only changed a select few into their own kind, only those who have caught their attention in some way or another.
For Xigbar, the first was three years ago; a blonde woman—an exotic dancer, actually—named Larxene. A year after that, it was a rockstar, a twenty-one year old kid named Demyx. The latter, in turn, has a recent fledgling of his own: a boy named Sora. For the other brother, Xaldin, there was only one incident a few years back—a set of identical twins by the names of Zexion and Aki.
Demyx is one of the few with unwavering devotion and trust in Xigbar-his sire’s “golden boy” so to say-though he also shares a close bond with his own fledgling. On the other hand, Zexion will only grudgingly acknowledge that the blonde musician is his “best friend”-he’s not quite sure what’s happened to his twin. For reasons unknown to most though, the anti-social bookworm owes his life to Xigbar and is repaying him by being his “assistant”.
Moving on to existences that are not quite as dark, the two newest arrivals in the city come in the form of vampire hunters-and a couple on top of that. Known by the names of Axel and Riku, the former is driven to destroy vampires due to the unfortunate death of his twin sister Kairi some years back-and the fact that he comes from a family of vampire hunters. Together with his younger boyfriend, they strive to protect humanity.
Finishing up, there’s a human couple living in the city-young, happy, and recently engaged. Both are fair and blonde, the lucky guy known as Roxas, and the bride-to-be being a sweet girl named Naminé. If only they knew of the dark side to their beloved city...
That would conclude our story as it stands so far, but in a game with so many players, sides are bound to collide, worlds crash in chaos, and who knows how we’ll see everyone by the end of this. Now we’ll move on to rules, character lists, and profile skeletons.

Rules
I. Follow the Gaia TOS
II. No godmodding. No auto hits or auto kills when dealing with other players’ characters. NPCs is a different matter, but still, be logical and reasonable about things. Godmodding will not be tolerated, and please do not go around trying to kill everyone for the hell of it. Make sure there’s at least reasons, and it’s been agreed upon that so-and-so will let their character die. No one wants to be treated unfairly in those type of situations.
III. Literacy is a must. I don’t expect novel length posts but I don’t want to see a couple of lines for a post either. One paragraph minimum please, with everything spelled as correctly as possible and properly punctuated and all of that. Oh, and grammar too, mustn’t forget that-I’d rather not get a headache trying to decipher your posts, and I’m sure others don’t either. This means no chat speak or text talk or whatever else it’s called, no ‘U’ for ‘you’, etc.
IV. Make your posts pretty if you can, like with colored text and pictures, maybe a quote or some lyrics. I like pretty posts, just don’t go overboard, no blinding colors or anything else that would melt someone’s eyes, okay?
V. Romance is accepted and encouraged, just no graphic scenes please, such as cybering, this is a PG-13 site after all. Take that to PMs or something and fade to black or time skip please. Het, yuri, and yaoi pairings are allowed and welcome.
VI. These vampires do not fly, sparkle, or transform into animals of any kind. They don’t die in sunlight, either; they just really don’t like it, and it seems to drain their energy.
VII. No killing off any character unless you have permission from their owner.
VIII. Please fill out all profiles to the best of your ability, and PM them to me with the title of ‘The Sun's Gone Down’. This goes for both canon and original characters. Please do not post until I've approved your app and given you permission, thank you.
IX. If you make OOC comments, please make sure they are separated from the rest of the post.
X. On violence, gore, and swearing. They’re all acceptable, just don’t go overboard. Try not to get too graphic with the gore, we wouldn’t want to scar anyone for life after all. Remember that we all have a vocabulary beyond cursing.
XI. Leave your personal problems out of the RP-don’t like a member, don’t like a character? I don’t care; don’t bring trouble into things because of it.
If you have any questions about anything, just ask-I don’t bite.

—White List—Demyx the Rockstar - Started this epic thing of horror and drama.
Anakha the Silver – Went along with this whooole thing back when it was just a crazy twinkle in my eye however many weeks ago. Ended up giving me the intial idea that exploded into all of this madness as well as help with other things-and with the funding of our guild.
--D3T0X-R3T0X-- - Was a part of this since the very beginning as well. Also helped with ideaness. And is just epic.
