Personality: Takeshi is one of those loud and obnoxious guys that you can't help but love. He is strong, loyal to a fault, and a bit hot-headed, but he cares for Soul Society and anyone in his squad. He's quite the wise-guy and loves to harass others. He's also quite the womanizer, using any means necessary to get female attention. He's usually quite successful at it, too.

Physical Description: Takeshi appears to be nineteen. Takeshi has messy blonde hair and bright blue-green eyes, both of which are an asset in his constant quest for female attention. He's well built, barely over six feet tall, and always has a smile plastered over his face. He is of an average complexion (darker than pale, lighter than tan) and has no visible markings, though he has a tattoo on his back. He wears a sleeveless shinigami uniform with a sleeveless captain's coat tied around his waist and over one shoulder.
Zanpakuto Name and Sealed Description: Ginyuushijin (Minstrel) normally looks like a katana with a blue sheath, white and blue wrappings, a golden tsuba in the shape of a hexagon, and a blade that curves the opposite way of the hilt itself.

Shikai: "Raise your voice, Ginyuushijin!" When shikai is activated, there's really no visible difference, other than a slight shimmer that goes along the blade. In reality, the blade has split into many small, razor sharp tuning forks, all spaced closely enough that the blade seems unbroken unless seen in the right angle of light. With this, Takeshi gains the ability to "catch" sound waves and vibrations and hold them, the tuning forks slowly building up more sound with their reverberations. Takeshi can use this in many ways such as firing it off as a long range attack known as Carrying Tune and using it in short bursts to enhance his shunpo. This ability creates three significant side effects. First, the blade vibrates so fast that it acts as the Steele Schnieder did, cutting through spirit particles and objects much easier than normal. Second, the blade emits a steady note that changes in pitch and volume depending on how much sound is built up in the blade. Third, ony attack with the sound waves weakens pure energy attacks.
Bankai: Samayou Ginyuushijin dissolves into sound waves upon it's release. Takeshi gains control over all sound and vibration in an invisible sphere twenty feet in every direction from him. With this, he can condense the sound to form a barrier or send it out in a Carrying Tune without a weapon formed. Ginyuushijin can now reform in the shape of any melee weapon. Otherwise, the only change is that all the Shikai abilities have increased in potency.

Skills: Takeshi hasn't got the most impressive resume. His main skills are his mastery of Shunpo, his ability to taunt and anger just about anyone, and his skill with training others.
Bio: Takeshi wasn't born in the Soul Society. He is originally from the human world, though he has very few memories of his time there. The only things he remembers were his parents, his twin brother, and the Shinigami who sent him to the Rukongai.
Takeshi lived in the district of Inuzuri for many years and actually spent some time with Renji Abarai and Rukia Kuchki before they became Shinigami. Though he always looked for his brother, he never found him. At some point, Takeshi's spiritual pressure was noticed by none other than his savior, Captain Hitsugaya. He was inducted into the academy soon after.
He spent the next years in the academy and made a few friends, one being Kibin Inokuma, who Takeshi still refers to as his best friend, even though he fell in battle. During their years at the academy, they tought eachother much, both of them learning to master Shunpo and use a wide variety of weapons at an early age.
He continued to train and rise in rank, eventually joining Squad 10 before being suggested for the position on Squad 13's Captain. Due to his fun personality, he has quite a lot of allies.
Ginyuushijin's spirit takes the form of a muscled bard clothed in gold and white with a golden lute on his back. Takeshi is known to argue and yell at his Zanpakuto because of it's habit of speaking in riddles and songs.
