Home of the Shellian, found in the skies above Cenril. Long ago the Shellian civilization thrived on Thorndike. The decadence and power of the Shellians that lived there was legendary. However something went wrong there during the wars with the Dragons, at first contact was simply lost then the island vanished from the skies. Nobody knew how or why but the floating land was taken to another place outside of time. At first The Shellians despaired but then discovered away from the other races whom they despised they could thrive. The Shellians created humanoid servants the Homunculi to serve their every need and worship them like gods but in creating such beings the Shellians sowed the seeds of their own destruction. The mistake of trying to play god was hubris of the highest order and something went wrong... An unseen influence entered the minds of the Homunculi and drove them mad. In the ensuing riots that followed the Shellians were killed and the city simply floated through 'the other place' until now. The fabric of this side of Termina's reality has badly damaged intentionally by the forces of chaos and the city has been restored. For good or ill remains to be seen.
