Personality: Captain Sengo, or Yami, is a complicated individual. He is much like the captain who preceded himself. With a desire for knowledge, understanding and control, Yamimaru often disregards the desires,emotions, and lives around him. He only has respect for those who earn it, and only the Second Captain and Fifth Captain have done so. There is only two ways to prove to him that you are worthy of respect, much less acknowledgment
1: Show him you can keep up with him intellectually
2: Prove your ability in battle
The Second captain beat him in battle, and the Fifth captain was able to provide him with a most stimulating conversation. He is somewhat stoic and very reserved- never revealing his emotions to anyone, unless that be the emotion of Anger. He can be easily absorbed in the pursuit of understanding something, and will often ignore everything else in this chase. He is by far one of, if not The most, Brilliant minds in all of Soul Society.

Physical Description: The Captain of Squad five is very tall, and very skinny. He looks as though he is malnourished if he is clothed. Though he is this was in appearance- try catching him with his clothes off. He is well toned and has an athletic body that is near perfect. He spent much of his early research perfecting his own Physical structure so that he wouldn't have to worry about it at later dates. His hair is a Very VERY light purple color, with black at the tips. His eyes are a very radiant Teal Color. His nails are about an inch long and his hands are quite soft to the touch. He has quite a bit of physical endurance and is fit enough to- Every month test the physical ability of his squad with a race around the Seireitei.
All in all, very well balanced.
Zanpakuto Name and Sealed Description: Kurokage /Dark shadow/
Kurokage is a long bladed Katana, not quite a Nodachi. It is more of a mix of the two. It has good reach, is very light, and very sturdy. Its sheath is a Golden color and decorated with a royal purple snake close to the hilt of the Sword. The handle is a solid black, while the guard of the sword is Gold. The blade, when drawn, can be heard making a distinct hissing sound.
Kurokage's Spirit is that of a Curvy, Beautiful woman. She wears no clothing, and has a mocha skin tone. She is surrounded long slender bits of a transparent Black cloth that levitate about her person, conveniently, but barely, covering her private areas. Her hair is a shining sliver and her serpentine eyes are purple. Her voice is soothing and most seductive. She is cold in nature, but has deep loyalty and devotion to her user, Yamimaru.

The Katana dissolves completely and become a large mess of Reiatsu, a swirl of black and purple. The Energy encircles Yamimaru like a snake swirling around him. the energy can be expanded, solidified, thrown, broken up, and manipulated. He uses it most as a weapon, swinging it to cut, blast, and burn enemies.
Bankai: "Kyujukyu Kurokage" /99 Dark Shadows/
The Bankai of Kyujukyu Kurokage has 99 uses, as stated in its name, though not all of them have been seen. Only the 1st captain is ever said to have seen them all. When it enters bankai, the power, size, and ability of the Dark colored Reiatsu increase. Yamimaru has been seen using the energy in the following ways
-A volley of dark arrows
-A large shield over many people
-A massive and destructive blast
-Many mobile swords swords of dark energy
His Bankai has a key weakness, for each way he uses it, the energy slowly depletes. After each use, the amount of power available is decreased, but not in a large way. The energy also can harm its user if the user is not focused. Even though this weakness is debilitating, a use is defined by the endless energy taking an additional form, or changing form. Its 99th form is said to be terrible and awe inspiring beyond belief and has only ever been seen once, by the former head captain long ago.
Kidou: He considers himself to be a Kido master, and can pull off several high class spells without incantation.

~He is, in his mind, a Kido master and is more-or-lessly considered second only to the Goban-taicho in power. He has even studied some Kido that is restricted to use. His reasons for this are unknown, but he knows some none the less. This mass knowledge of Kido comes from the numerous records in the SRDI archives, allowing him to learn a number of techniques during his alone time.
~His Reiatsu is something that he has masterful control over, often using it as an enhancer for attacks, boost for his Kido spells, or enhancing the capabilities of his unique abilities.
Accessories:
~Regenerative Med: Developed early on in the SRDI, long before his time. He modified it during his time while working as Vice-president, giving it the ability to nearly revive an almost dead individual. It takes a two day time period to fully affect the one it was used on.
~Spirit-particle shield: It is a ring that he wears on his middle finger that looks more like a metal claw that anything. When his adrenaline levels rise and he sends a certain brain signal to his arm, the ring activates. It absorbs the spirit particles from the area and creates a body sized shield that protects Yamimaru from attacks. It has a total of Five uses. He invented this shortly after becoming President of the SRDI
~Z-Manifesto: This is a ring placed around the hilt of Yamimaru's Zanpakutou, giving him the unique ability manifest his Zanpakutou spirit in human form. The spirit cannot travel a certain distance from him or it returns to its sealed and weapon form. While in physical form, the spirit can access all of it's own powers and use them at will. Recently perfected invention.
~HCS (Hollow Control Stone): This is a device, more like a stone, created by bending numerous powerful hollow beings with significant willpower into the a single form. Then by using his own Reiatsu to create a containment field, he managed to hold them in this form. This stone allows him to ((Currently)) only have temporary control over hollows. The bigger, or more powerful the hollow, the harder it is to control, and the less time he can control it for. It has successfully controlled a Gillian for a total of an hour. the hollows obey whoever is in current possession of the stone, as well as whoever's energy is flowing into it.
Bio: Yamimaru Sengo was a called and labeled a freak and madman when attending the Shinigami academy. He often attempted to experiment in strange ways with spells, moves, and people. He was also shunned for his unnatural ability to Teleport. He did however, excel immensely in the academy, and was recognized by the 1st captain at the time. He was quickly inducted into the 1st squads ranks. He found it to be dull and not fitting of his skills and desires.
Upon requesting the 1st captain for a transfer to the 12th division, it was happily agreed to. He from there, proceeded to challenge the Head captain of the Squad for his title and seat. He lost, but was promoted to Vice-Captain. 100 Years later, upon the "Mysterious Death" of the captain, Yamimaru was promoted to 1st Seat and Head Captain of the 12th squad, as well as head of Research and Development.
He conducted many experiments on hollows, bounts, and quincies- searching for a way to combine- as well as eliminate the three odd species. He also conducted experiments upon himself, constantly working at improving his physical, genetic, and spiritual structure. He published a book that contains the most detailed record of the Genetics and characteristics of every race found in the known universe about 200 years into service.
Later in his service, information of very promising research opportunities in the human world reach his ears. he accepted an assignment to go there, and had been there doing research ever since. He gathered a lot of promising information and was able to delve into the depths of the hollow creature, almost to a frightening degree. He is the foremost expert on Hollow creatures in the whole of soul society, but isn't that proud of it. Due to his knowledge, Central 46 ordered him to begin experimenting with Hollow modification and control as a counter measure to the Arrancar that had been reborn in Hueco Mundo.
Since being given the order to experiment Hollows, Yamiamru has made numerous advancements in anti hollow, as well as Anti Arrancar technology. He He successfully manipulated and gained temporary control over Various hollow creatures through the aid of the HCS. This item will hopefully prove to be the key to fulfilling the wishes of Central 46. . and his own wishes.
