"I love you mommy!" Janet smiled cutely and held up a single yellow daisy that had its roots still. "I picked it for you."

"Thats wonderful dear. I will set it here." Her mother gently placed it in a pot and set it in the window for the sun to hit it. "I love you too Janet."

She grabbed her up and threw her up and caught Janet in her arms to hug her tight to her. Moments like these made her wish they would last forever. Her little girl was growing up and being a vampire the years seemed to go by faster then usaul since she had so many ahead of her.

It took her a little bit of thinking on her half and some consulting with her husband. He was growing older and she could see it. No one knew her better then him and maybe she would change him. However she had had many lovers and only he had produced her a child.

If she changed him now she would never have a chance to have another sweet child. It was a week and a half from those dwelling thoughts that he had died on her by getting into an accident with an airship unstably landing.

When Janet cried and held her hand beside her. Thats when she knew she would not be able to stand something happening to her little Janet. Someone so fragile as her could be hurt so easily. Becoming obssessed with only Janet in mind she fretted over the aging she seemed to see in her little girl everyday.

So she changed her sweet little Janet. "Now we can be together forever and I will always be here to hold you tight and you will always fit in my arms to do so."

Janet played along and as years passed her body didn't change but Janet did inside. She learned ot play piano, draw, paint and many other things including magic. Her house and room were filled with her past workings to the present showing her progression throught the years. Although not Janets own physical progression. At the age of 17 in her own mind now she became more troubled about everything.

"Whats wrong darling?" Her mother asked her one night after Janet had jumped from her arms angerly.

"Will I ever age?" She already knew the answer.

"No sweetie of course not...you know this why ask now?"

Janet started to cry,"I saw the boy I liked today. I asked him out he said no. He treated me like a child...like everyone does... but I'm not!" She screamed at her mother in her tiny voice.

"You are a child still in heart and body."

"But not in mind or emotions. I will never be able to age and get with anyone will I? Like a family like we use to have."

"If you want a father all you had to do was ask you know I only want to make you happy..." Her mother seemed put aback by this sudden outburst it had never happened before.

So Janet stayed longer though... maybe because she was afraid of change but mostly because no one accepted her for what she was. An eternal child forever trapped in wanting something she could never have.
One night she finally snapped and broke. Attacking her new father with her own fangs and killing him there in front of her mother.

She hadn't been able to move fast enough to stop her dear little Janet.

"Do you see mother? How easy it is to end a life? How easy it is to create one, being what we are?"

Her mother was angry and grabbed her up to displine her but like she would a child. "Janet you have crossed a line."

Jumping from her arms easily and with disgust of being treated like a child once again and would be forever. She spit out. "Somehow you manage to do both. Create me and destroy me all at ONCE!" Janet's voice got serious. "I hate you for it." She tore down a painting that was old. "You kept me for these time didn't you? For everything you thoguth you lost so you tried to keep it all and yet you have destroyed my life in the worst way. I will be forever wandering alive without ever being able to change what I am."

She tore down a new painting that was detailed and more artistic. "This is what I am inside and what I use to be." She threw them at her mother. "I hate you! I would have someone by now. A man in my life we would be thinking of family. YOU can think of family still too. You have many people to choose from. As for me.... will not."

Within her rage she didn't notice her mother advancing on her. "Janet you have been very bad. Janet was piced up by one of her arms. Her mothers fingernails digging into her arm. Janet used her magic to shock her mother sensless. Standing over her mother for a mometn while she was on the ground trying to get motion into her stiffened limbs, Janet smirked.

"I may not ever outgrow this body but I have you and if I ever see an eternal child that smells of you be sure I will put it out of its misery before it knows the true feeling. Then I will come back and I will kill you as well." Hate ran through Janet that she never felt before.

"Janet..." Her mother was broken inside. Where was her sweetie? She did everything for her. What happened to bringing in the flowers? She saw where she had gone wrong. She saw the small changes in attitude and acting over the years, but since her dear Janet's body hadn't aged they were easier to overlook.

Janet spit on the ground. "Don't follow me, I will escape you and if not, if you really must chase me to bring me back.... Kill me... its the only way it can be. I'm finding a cure for this thing you have done for me. I have a lifetime thanks to you. A lifetime trapped in a body that will never fit me again."

Before she left she gave her mother and extra shock of lightning. Just to stop her so she could run. Janet never looked back and feeding off of the nice was easy through the years.

"I was wrong..." Her mother cried once Janet left and she could move again. She didn't take chase. She couldn't bring herself to it, what Janet had said was right. She had been so scared to let her age afraid to lose what she had when she lost it worse now for what she ahd done.

She had cursed her own child and would eternally pay for it. Again she was powerless to stop her the lvoe of her life from forever leaving.



With her time Janet progressed her magic until she found an opening in the empire. It took a lot of pushing to get where she was. Being a pawn was fine to her. When people were below her and couldn't treat her like a child anymore. When they did, they learned thier lesson quickly. Many below her had learned to respect Janet and even look past her outlook appearance.

After a while Janet created her own aged body with illusion and even if she goes as a little girl for the most part to be underestimated she still gets her pent up anger to her own predicament out by flirting with her illusion.

Janet went to her place crying one night and many after that. Had she been older, one man would have been hers. She loved him, but from a distance she watched him slowly die and get with another. She refused to use her illusion body to flirt again. After that Janet used it only to get things done that children could not.

Traveling the world with the empire digging into secrets she shouldn't Janet smiled at the hopes of finding a vampire cure. Maybe one day her dream of a family would come true.

crying that was so sad, it almost made me cry. Very good, I like her as a character so much more now (and I did like her before)
