So I'm torn on something and was hoping maybe to get some advice from you guys.
I've got a bunch of Sailor Moon dolls. The old dolls, like the Barbie dolls.
I'm thinking of selling them at the next Otaku Flea Market I'm going to, but a part of me doesn't want to let them go.
It's a bit silly, since all they've done since I've gotten them is collect dust on my bookshelf. I've never posed them after the initial "stick them on their stand." I've never played with them. They don't even look all that good. They're just taking up space, and when I move to my new apartment, they'll probably get boxed up and never see the light of day again.
And it's not like they're the only Sailor Moon thing I own. I've recently been getting the fully pose-able Figuarts figures that I play with so much more and they look so much better. The only reason I can think of to keep them is that they're "collectible," and even then, who collects these things?
But I just don't know if I should let them go or not. :
I kind of feel like I'm turning into a hoarder with this one. emotion_facepalm What do you guys think?
I think it's hard to let go of anything you've had for a long time. Familiarity, you know? It'll be weird to look up on the shelf and not see it anymore.
I don't collect girl dolls or it'd like be cool to snag one from you sometime. razz Which ones do you have? The only Sailor Moon character I ever likes (by sight, since I didn't watch much) was this really smexy guy that had a boyfriend in the series. Can't remember names now.
Likely all crafters have a bit of "hoarder" in them. Maybe you'd feel better if you knew they were going to friends, or at least someone who'd take really good care of them.
