Missions
In addition to acting as the army for their country, the ninja village also acts as a business. Each day clients will come to the village and pay for the services of the ninja. These jobs can range from the mundane (walk the feudal lord's dog), to the assassination of deadly wanted criminals. As needed the Kage or Jounin master of a Genin team can assign missions in furtherance of a duty to the country that are unpaid.
These jobs are thus divided into difficulty ranks of S, A, B, C and D and then given to ninja based on their ability. If the mission is completed successfully, the client will then pay the village. The easiest and least deadly jobs are given to the Genin, these are called "D-Rank". The D-Rank missions also help to build teamwork skills among the new Ninja Academy graduates. D-Rank are therefore non-combat with low pay. The "C-Rank" missions will be given to Chuunin and skilled Genin. These include protective escorts and missions with some chance of bodily harm. It can include capturing wild animals and mine clearing. "B-Rank" missions will be given to Special Jounin and Chuunin. These also include protective escort, gathering foreign intelligence and killing of ninja. Open battle is generally not an issue during this mission type. The next highest rank missions, "A-Rank" are given to Jounin and Special Jounin. These include vital missions between nations, escorting VIPs and maneuvers against offensive ninja forces. Thus these missions will almost always involve combat and risk of death. At the highest and most dangerous is "S-rank", given to Jounin. These missions include assassination of important persons, transporting classified documents and materials. With the extreme danger comes a very high rate of pay.

• Walk the Old Lady's Dogs
An old lady wants her three dogs walked across the town to give them some exercise and a good breath of fresh air.

A little girl lost her cat somewhere in town. Your mission: find it and bring it back safely.

A man is too sick to go grocery shopping, so has called for the ninjas of the village to go and do the grocery shopping for him.

A young woman needs her three children babysitted while she goes out to run errands.

• Painting Job
A guy needs help in painting his new house in the country.
Current Participants:
• The Delivery Ninja
A noble needs letters sent out to his friends to notify them of his birthday bash coming up. But it's so short notice that he requires express delivery, aka in two days.

An attic needs to be cleaned. Not much else to it.

• Housekeeping
A temporary housekeeper is needed for an entire day while the usual housekeeper is out on a small break.

A farmer requires some extra hands to assist him in harvesting this season's crops. In addition, he'll need some miscellaneous farm chores done.

A high classed family is having a reunion. To preserve the memories, they require a ninja or two to help in taking pictures here and there.

It's a kid's birthday and they need entertainment. Your job: entertain them.

A company wants to get their name out there, so requires a few flyers to be put up here and there.

An elder requires escorting over town while they run a few errands.

A wife is angry and a husband is scared. Help him calm his wife down.

A man has gone missing in the woods, and a rescue team is having trouble finding him. Assist them in their search.

• The Ninja Chef
A restaurant's employees have all called in sick, so the owner need a few helping hands to help run a full day's business.

A popstar is having trouble with the paparazzi. Help the client avoid them during their visit to Konoha.

Some kids are going to be taking a swim at a lake, so a lifeguard has been requested for to keep a watch over them.

A lady has lost her most valuable pendant during her trip through the shopping market, so needs help in finding it.

The women at the local bathhouse have been complaining of a man peeping in on them many times. Thus, it is their top priority to stop this man as soon as possible. That is where the ninjas come in.

A rich girl. Lots of money. She is going on a shopping spree and requires someone to help her carry her stuff around.

An artist is lacking inspiration for her next piece. A performance from a ninja may help revive it.
