Cobra's Backstreet Mission's Shop In the heart of the village's center, a flickering lantern catches your eye off to the side of the normal everyday life of the streets. You had probably walked passed this particular alleyway a hundred times, but something has beckoned you to look down it again. The alley is dark and damp...the walls of the adjoining buildings now carrying a musty smell that is unbefitting the rest of the village. This alleyway seems to be a dark speck which carries an almost eerie gloom to it in an otherwise light filled city. The light flickers again as you come to the entrance of the alleyway, the dim roar of the flame bursting forth to give you a glimpse of a cracked stairwell leading down into the city's depths at the end of the alley. something drags you into the alleyway, rats skittering across your path, trash strewn about in a way you've never seen elsewhere in the city...and even stranger still is completely contained in the small alleyway. Posters line the walls, with advertisements and statements you've never seen before, nor can you understand. coming to the staircase, you look down to see that a dim light is illuminating the footstep of what seems like an open doorway. The walls echo the sounds of your steps, each one making it seem as you are getting further and further away from reality. At the bottom of the stairs you look in to a surprisingly large shop, but one which lacks an resemblance of a shop you've ever seen. Open cracks and dirty windows in the sealing let just enough light into the room for you to see, but not enough to know if you are being watched. strange devices lay flickering around the room, they seem as if they have had some jutsu fused into ordinary objects to make them light up and do strange things. half of the shop even seems to be covered with plants, some of which you could swear are moving. Suddenly out of the darkness, you hear an eerie cackle as a man steps out of the shadows. He is average height, but wears strange clothing...a robe which extends just to above his knees, with long flowing sleeves that he has crossed in front of his chest. He wears a straw hat, most noticeably accentuated by the black cat which sleeps atop it. A large red scarf covers the entirety of his mouth and neck, leaving only the smallest sliver of space between it and the brim of his hat where a single red eye can be seen, the other covered by some steel-plated accessory. the cackling suddenly ceases as he comes into the dusky light and addresses you with a disturbing, yet playfully mischievous voice... "Welcome...welcome, to my humble shop. Things you will find here that you are not likely to find anywhere else in the village, or in this world, but it comes at a price! Take a look around and see what you'd like, but be ready to work long and hard for what catches your eye. My items I collect from the world around, and places no one knows but those who walk the paths of shadow. There I will send you, and will credit you for the work you have done for me. This credit will work in my shop, but no where else...then again, why would you be here if it were not my wears you wished for yourselves. Come, come...I shall show you what I have in mind for you. I have many places that need traveling to, but this is not a job for a single person. Bring your companions, but bring only those you trust, for these missions will not be what you expect."

--- How the Shop Works --- Many times a guild often has trouble finding consistent material to keep all of their players occupied and entertained all at once. This shop is an attempt to help keep as many occupied/entertained as possible, and adds a little incentive. When you make a post in the guild, what do you get? Nothing. Well, not anymore. this shop will give you special rewards for completed missions in the form of 'Mission Points'. Once you've collected enough, you can trade your mission points into me in order to get Monthly collectibles or other Gaia items! Here are my goals for this shop:
Growth - To advance a player's RP ability by giving them more practice with their characters and to help them grow in their role playing talents.
Charity - To help those who have a hard time getting the items they want, achieve their dreams in a fun and guild-promoting way.
Fun - This is all for fun people. These missions and stories are OUTSIDE to plot lines of the main RP. Though you will be bringing your RP characters into the shop as they are currently in the guild, none of the events on missions will carry over, or affect you in the actual RP in any way. (Essentially this means that you can be on a Cobra Mission and in an RP mission with no continuity troubles)So, without much further adieu, here are some rules/regulations that will explain how the shop works, and what is allowed and what isn't. --- Rules --- 1 ) All Interactions with Cobra (The Shop Keeper) must be done in an RP format. This includes 'Trade Ins' and 'Mission Sign Ups' and 'Mission Porting' ( starting and committing to a mission)
1a. Supplementary : Cobra is a character from another RP I created, namely my old charity. He is a Kage level ninja, and even stronger. Sufficed to say, he is stronger, faster, and capable of mnay things you are not. (Only for the purposes of the thread however, as its only filler between missions)
2 ) Available Missions will be posted in the 'Mission Logs - (Available)' section below, and all RP setup (Interactions with shop owner and signup will be handled in this thread.
3 ) 'Mission Porting' and the actual missions themselves will occur in another Sub-Forum (one which I may need to commission from Death)
4 ) You may only be in one Cobra Mission at a time.
5 ) I will try to tailor missions to every level of player, but if you do not see a mission of a suitable level for you, and would like one, let me know in a PM and I'll see if I can whip something up for you.
6 ) All missions are under my control. I run the NPCs, I run the plot, and I decide the Mission Points that are rewarded. There may be times when i God-mod or auto-hit, but it will all be for plot purposes, so don't worry...I will be fair.
7 ) Only Mission Points that I give out can be used as Trade Ins for items...(I will keep a log of everyone's earned mission points)
8 ) Please, please, PLEASE...try to only ask for items that you actually want for a dream avatar or a part of an outfit you would like to wear. This is supposed to be a way for people to earn items that they WANT, not items that they can sell on the MP. I'm trying to help people reach their avatar goals, not fatten their wallets with gold.
9 ) You may use Mission Points to trade in for an item a friend wants, IF you can prove to me it's something they really want.
10 ) If you see a Cobra Mission thread made by somebody other then me...its not legit.
11 ) Please try your best. This is an opportunity to learn and grow in your RPing ability, so try your best and try to write at least 3-5 sentences per post in a clear and logical manner. All other rules of RP posts within this guild apply, and as always punctuation and spelling are encouraged.
11a. Supplementary : Please, also remember to RP within your character's means. If you are a Genin, please fight at that level, or a Chuunin, fight at a Chuunin's level. Example: Kenji is a Genin, who uses the water element... using a Water Bullet technique, that's fine, as it is appropriate to his level...Using a 'Water Dragon Technique' (a.k.a. What Zabuza uses as an ANBU ninja) , not so appropriate for him...at least not till he reaches a Jounin level or such.
12) Please enjoy yourself. Just remember, items are little pixels on your computer screen. Don't get worked up over how many mission points you have. This is supposed to be a fun way to encourage RPing with a little added bonus to reward the truly dedicated.

Kyoma followed down the stairs, not knowing where it lead to. Beside her, was her fellow teammate and closest friend in the village, Haruko. "I swear, I haven't even noticed this place before," she whispered, making sure to make no sound as they continued down the stairs. Everything was happening so fast. When walking by, they noticed an alley that they were sure wasn't there before. Kyoma, being curious, dragged Haruko down with her. She was surprised to see a sturdy looking shop near the bottom of the stairs. She shook her head to the door, and peeked inside, wondering what might be in store for them if they walked into the room.

Haruko looked around nervously, though she was taught that a ninja must learn to overcome their fears, she still felt uneasy whenever she headed into a dark and eerie alleyway. 'Oh well, at least I have Kyoma-chan with me, that helps me relax a bit.' When they reached the door, she noticed Kyoma peek into the store, tugging lightly on Kyoma's sleves Haruko whispered nervously to her friend, "Hey Kyoma-chan, are you sure about this? This could be dangerous you know."

Feeling the slight tug on her sleeve, and hearing Haruko's whisper about the place possibly being dangerous, Kyoma looked back to her friend. She looks a little shaken... She bit her lip, really wanting to check out the mysterious place that they were so close to coming to. "If you don't want to come here, Haru-chan, you don't have to. I'll come by later and check it out, if it's still here." She pointed to herself with her right thumb, giving Haruko a huge grin. "Don't worry, I'm a ninja now, too! So i can protect myself!"

Haruko shooked her head in protest, "Oh no, I can't do that to you Kyoma-chan. Besides, I have to overcome my fears. As a ninja, I can't let my fears affect my composure.

Hearing Haruko's words made Kyoma give a big grin. "Okay!" She said almost too loudly. She quickly covered her mouth, looking back to the shop. She then looked back to Haruko and gave a nod. She turned to the shop, followed closely by Haruko, and stepped into the store. Looking around the place, she felt a cold chill, as if someone was watching them. No, if someone was watching us, we would both know. Her ears picked up on a small noise that sounded like someone's breathing. She quickly reached to her pouch, in case of it being an enemy. Then again, it's hard to tell in a place like this.

"So what are we doing?...this a secret hideout or something?" Kenji spoke directly into Kyoma's ear from behind, with the purposeful intention of scaring her in this dark place. He had been looking for She and Haruko all day, and when he finally found them, he saw them walk down a dark alleyway, where he quickly followed them, ready to play a little trick on the two.

Kyoma gave a small "eep" before falling back. She looked up, seeing Kenji and Haruko look down at her. " Sheesh, Kenji!" Kyoma jumped up glaring at him. "What did you do that for!?" One thing she hated most was to have someone sneek up on her, especially in a place like this.
