Tell us who you are, where you come from, what you'd like to learn and what you like doing in your spare time... all of that kinda jazz.

I'm Jonnie... I'm English originally but currently living in Sweden. I'm not sure what I'd like to learn... perhaps Bulgarian but we don't have the facilities for that just now... :P

I'm quite musical, and I play ze piano. I'm also an english literature student so obviously reading and writing is a big part of my life - hence the RP section!

I'm Sock. I'm from the USA, Alaska originally and currently living in South Dakota (soon to be moving, thank God). I'd like to learn... pretty much anything, haha! Norwegian is what I'm setting my sights on right now, but possibly German.

I'm a writer or an aspiring one, at least. I also enjoy psychology, politics and various other boring things. xp Also, as you may have noticed, I make a fool of myself every time I write out an introduction.

Sup C: you can call me Dai. I'm Welsh and I live in Wales. I'm Welsh first language and am learning Cornish. Languages I'd like to learn some day include Icelandic, Maori, Irish, Breton and Basque. So as you can see, I like unusual languages xD
In my spare time... I'm also a language nerd. I like poetry and linguistics and I'm studying Linguistics at university 8D

Hello fellow language learners, I'm Escargot. I am a Californian, though I am currently situated in the UK. I too am studying the fine subject of Linguistics.

My languages are Norwegian, Mandarin Chinese (including the classical variety), and (oh, the shame) Quenya. I also have a rusty knowledge of French, and a bare-bones understanding of Latin.

Eventually I would like to learn Hebrew, Sami, Swahili, Hindi/Urdu, Finnish, Tibetan, and Turkish. In that order. Though I doubt I will ever get around to all of them, I like to try and stay positive.

In my non-lingual time, I am a flute player.

I will put up some Norwegian basics this weekend, since I know there is a pre-existing interest there. If you would like some other information on a language I'm familiar with, just let me know!

I think Jonnie might actually be covering Norwegian already, but you can help him if you wish. whee Also, any of the languages you speak would be awesome to have up, so if you have the time please post them. Even if we don't have anyone learning it per se, many of our members (me, at least) enjoy looking at different languages and learning the basics. So there's that.

We spoke before and I think Escargot is going to take over the Norwegian, I'm worried about getting it mixed up with Swedish since they're so similar. I would hate to teach the wrong thing to you all. D:

Hello.
I'm Hanna. I'm from Sweden. So i speak Swedish and English. I've been learning German for about 4,5 years but since I've got stuck with teachers that barely know the laguage, I still just know the basics and some random sentences that's stuck in my head. sweatdrop

When I'm not in school I usually read, write and hang around with friends.
