Hi. I've only been crocheting for about 2months now but everything I've made has came out a lot smaller then it should have. At first I didn't think much of it as I only had two small hooks but now I have 14 hooks all in different sizes (bar two) and everything still comes out smaller then it should. What am I doing wrong? Am I pulling it to tight?
Any help would be great thanks.

Everyone crochets at a different gauge. Are you working from a pattern? Try going up a hook size or two. That should offset the problem.

No I don't follow patterns. Yeah I tried using bigger hooks. Owell, I'll keep trying.
Thanks for the reply.

The same happened to me when I first started crocheting, I found that it was because I was doing single crochet instead of double.
If you look up some how-to videos on YouTube or find a good book, it will show you how to double crochet and then hopefully things should start turning out the right size.
Hope this helps!
