----------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, I'm Rodrik, the Captain. Lets see... I'm 20 years old and in my first year of University, majoring in Psychology. I'm an avid reader, known to devour books in a single day (current one day record is 1000 pages); I prefer fantasy and sci-fi novels and my two current favorite book series are "the Malazan Book of the Fallen" series by Steven Erikson, and "the Prince of Nothing Trilogy" by R. Scott Bakker. I like to write as well, though my writing skills sometimes fail to meet my imagination. I am fairly creative in my writing and have a knack for making villians. I like manga and anime, my current favourites (in no particular order) are Wolf's Rain, Elfen Lied, Bitter Virgin, FLCL and 1/2 Prince. I like movies as well, my favourite being the 'Rocky Horror Picture Show'. As far as music goes I'm a rock and grunge sort of guy. My other hobbies include cooking, hiking and playing bass guitar, all with varying degrees of success @_@. Pleased to meet you 3nodding

Hey all! This is Poisyn, Aka Poi! I'm not as old as Rodrik, but I'm old enough to drive... I just don't... >.>
Um, also an avid reader... fantasy and sci-fi too... (why are you stealing all my stuff, Rodrik?), though I haven't read the two Rodrik has mentioned (they are now on my reading list). I'm in my second year of University, majoring in English and minoring (hopefully) in Psychology (why do those go so well together?).
I like to say I'm fairly creative when it comes to creating super powers..
Manga and anime is a must... at the moment I'm writing a Trinity Blood fanfiction (my Yu Yu Hakusho one is on hold). I'm also trying to get an anime made (long story. If you want more details, I'll probably have to make a thread).
My favorite TV show at the moment is Leverage. I like Heroes, but I'm very behind.
Um... hobbies? Loafing...? Sleeping?
And I hope that this guild will be better than Spur of the Moment!

'Ello to one and all!
I am Aicen, currently 25 years of age currently majoring in computer sciences.
I am an avid reader of sci-fi, mystery, fantasy, and comic books.
I am currently writing a novel for Nanowrimo.
I dislike anime and manga, for the most part (though there are a few i do read) and I love comic books. My favorite two being X-Factor and Guardians of the Galaxy.
My favorite movies are Monty Python and the search for the Holy Grail, Get Smart and the original star wars trilogy.
I love rock and alternative but will listen to anything but country and polka
My hobbies are reading, writing, chasing after my neices and nephews and video games.
Look upon me and cower.

Hello biggrin . I'm Ashley and I think I'm the yougest one here thus far at fifteen neutral . I love to read just about anything though I prefer fantasy, romance and manga. I write poetry for the most part. As far as music goes...I listen to a very eclectic spectrum, honestly.... I clean when I'm upset and cook when I'm bored, over-use semi-colons, fail at making my posts look colorful and nice, play for the school sports teams (Tennis and softball), am a reluctant Speechie and yes- I am bisexual heart mrgreen

Hi there I'm Crescent ^_^. You can call me Cres if you wish. I'm 20 as well and I know poi in rl! I read like crazy about three to four books a week, fantasy mostly. I'm a junior in college with an undeclared major, leaning towards history or English. I draw, and have a mid level studio art class this semester. I also play music, flute.
Fave manga at the mo: Bleach, InoBaka, Skip Beat, Fairy Tail
Fave Anime of all time: Outlaw Star, FLCL, Trigun
Fave movies( a few): Roman Holiday, V for Vendetta, Spited Away, Dirty Dancing, Across the Universe
Fave Authors ( A few): Tamora pierce, Garth Nix, Diana Gabaldon, Oscar Wilde, Jonathan Swift
Music type: Give me good old rock and role any day. Throw in some jazz, funk, reggae, alternative, and much more. Basically every thing but extremely twangy country, annoyingly shallow rap, and the lack of musicianship known as Screamo

Good Afternoon to you all, as..it is afternoon, isn't it? o.o I find myself rather confused what with the recent time change and all. I'm rather zonked out. (Not to mention that yours truly has been under the weather for approximately four days now with a high fever and a lovely, splitting head ache...)
My friends, it has been a very long time since last we...um. chatted? Yes, that! sweatdrop
Um. What is there to say about myself? Well, now...
I am Evangeline Black, though people insist on calling me Eva. (O_O Which is fine, don't get me wrong.) YES, I'M A GIRL BEHIND THIS COMPUTER SCREEN. I'm usually online a lot, unless I know that no one will be trying to contact me over Gaia, which was the case over the course of the past few months. I have a life outside of Gaia. Yes, I know. I'm still getting over the bamboozling factors of that myself. I'm the current reigning Colorguard or "Auxiliary" captain at my school, which is a part of Marching band...(Yes, I'm a band geek. Kill me.) and that keeps me VERY busy... I have practice Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays. And then Football games take up a lot of my Fridays. AND THEN I have competitions on Saturdays... But I'll still be on Gaia because my clones created by way of mitosis will be online for me.
I'm younger than Poi-chan, most likely, but I'm old enough to be entering college. >: However, I'm very old on the inside, judging by the fact that even my mother has more fun at Disneyland than I do... stare I don't know if I'm mature for my age, or if I'm just a very boring person... gonk
I'm rather lazy ( most of the time that I'm alive ) and THAT EXPLAINS--Err. That explains why this post is bland and undecorated. >: Because I'm too sick to go about trying to decorate it. I'm prone to make-up billions of excuses NOT to do something, but that can go the other way too...I can BS both my way into and out of things. (For an example of my many lame excuses, re-read the sentence in red.)
As far as my favorites or likes in anything go...
Music: Anything but rap and R&B...
Movies: Eh....Whatever I'm in the mood for, but I simply refuse to watch any horror movie unless there's someone watching it with me.
Manga:Well, it was Category: Freaks until the bloody mangaka decided that she wanted to go off and focus solely on Yaoi...-shudders-
Food: Why include this? I haven't the foggiest, but I'll tell you anyway. Any pasta you have will have me running to your door, scaling your walls, and breaking through your bedroom window. O,..,O
Anime:...I have quite a bit of these.... Trigun, Cowboy Beebop, Wolf's Rain, Witch Hunter Robin....Uh...Eureka 7 was good too...And yes, my darkest secret: I still watch Pokemon when there's nothing else on.
Games:Well...I haven't played much of anything since... a while. But... Guild Wars, Ragnarok Online, Most Pokemon GBA and DS games, and Animal Crossing. ...My mother has this Sudoku game for DS that helps me take up time...
Hobbies: Well, Colorguard stuff, obviously. I write... a lot. More than I ought to. (I plan on being an English major in College.) I draw...also more than I ought to. I fold paper cranes and stars and keep them in jaws because I'm just that Asian. I read and take in books like a black hole.
....I think that's everything, isn't it? I mean... I took up enough space...didn't I?

Hi, I'm Athena. I'm 17 and a senior in High school. I like to role play and read, particularly fantasy. I've really been into Urban Fantasy here lately. Books I've recently been reading The Mercy Thompson Series (I'm waiting for a chance to go to the book store and get the next book and The True Confessions of Charlotte Doyle (I read this in like 6th grade and happened to see it in the library decided to read it again). I don't watch much t.v., when i do I usually watch CSI, NCIS, or AFV mrgreen . As for movies, i really like Second Hand Lions and saw Zombie Land in theathers the other day and lmao, i think it goes on my fav list now. I can't think of any other movies off the top of my head. Uuuummm music, I listen to EVERYTHING. From rock to bluegrass. I particularly like celtic music- the real stuff like the Black Irish band, not that weirdo choir stuff- and have been really into country lately. The end?

Howdy, I'm Silent.
I'm 20 years young and a Pastry major that works part time in a toy store. My tastes in literature can vary as much as my taste in music. I like a little bit of everything, but I am adamant with the things I don't like. I do have favorites including Stephen King's Dolores Claiborne, Alice Sebold's The Lovely Bones, Lisa Jewell's Roommates Wanted, George Orwell's 1984, and Ray Bradbury's Fahrenheit 451. Those round out the top five. Music wise my favorite bands/singers include Disturbed, Therion, Breaking Benjamin, Origa, DJ Caffine and DJ Blutonium. I dive into the occasional opera song and choir like songs. My brother's also been getting me into some religious music from the deep south. I don't much mind the religious factor, but those songs sound simply delicious in my ears.
I love to write, draw, paint, bake, sculpt and what have you. Anything that pretty much gets my creative juices going when I'm feeling uber lazy or resisting sleep. I'm currently in the process of drawing out my female OCs, 'cause hey let's face it I suck at drawing the mens xp.
When it comes to the boob tube, I'm not much of an avid watcher, but as always when I do watch there are channels I try not to miss. They range from Wedding Sunday on WE (an entire day dedicated to weddings...I'm such a sap...Not to mention a hopeless romantic n n;; ), Discovery Channel (Mostly for A Haunting), Science Channel (The majority of the shows there), History Channel (Modern Marvels), DIY Network (I love renovation shows), BBC (I love everything on that channel except the news...it gets me all burned out), and the Food Network (EVERYTHING xD). There are a few more, but I think I'll stop there.
As for movies, that's once again a broad spectrum, with of course the exclusion of anything too gorey/ horror related. Favorites include Equilibrium, Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Damn (Awesome music <3), Beauty and the Beast, Collateral, Spirited Away, Coraline, and pretty much all the Tyler Perry movies. Just to name a few, since my DVD library is composed solely of my favorites.
Err, what else...Oh! Anime. I'm not much of and avid watcher as I used to be, but I have amassed quite the number of series I have seen in their entirety, but my favorites are few. They include Cowboy Bepop, Ghost in the Shell: SAC and 2nd GIG, Blue Gender, FLCL, Eureka Seven, FMA, Gundam Wing as well as Gundam 8th MS Team, Trigun, Air Gear and the first anime I ever watched; Sailor Moon. On the other hand, I tend to read a lot more Manga, including any available manga for the shows listed above as well as Bleach (I prefer the manga to the anime), Air Gear (The anime is short and funny, but the manga once again gives me my fix) and XXXholic (Gotta love Clamp's noodle people xD).
Though it seems Eva and I have similar taste in food, I'd like to tack on my love for sweets and pastries. Video game wise, I'm more of an RPG person with a side of racing and fighting games.

Hmmm, what to say, what to say...
Well, I'm Marina Lunaria, but I usually go by Marina, Luna, or "hey, you!" ... However, should you decide to refer to me as hey, you, I shall bite you. With my vampire fangs in. Hard.
I'm seventeen years old now, and I'm a junior in HS. However, I've been seated in the bar area of a restaurant four times now, so I must look older than I am. According to most people I am either "goth" or "emo," but I generally wear black yoga pants and a grey (fuzzy) hooded sweatshirt to school. (When the walls are made of reinforced carboard, it can get a little drafty.)
I have an odd sense of humor, and I love using sarcasm, so I come off as mean to some people. I love books, and prefer ot read fantasy and other non-fiction, especially when a female is the lead character. I'm a manga fiend, and am currently reading Tsubasa, Kurohime, D.N.Angel, Maria Holic, and Fate/Stay Night. In the manga realm, I'm a Tsubasa fiend, while also enjoying Blood+, Bleach, Naruto, Kuroshitsuji, and D.N.Angel.
I play soccer, though I am quitting the HS team as of next year. I am active within the HS's drama department and love acting, so I'll be in my school play (if it kills me).
I spend a ton of time online, and I visit many sites.
I was a member of the Spur of the Moment guild.
I am a Final Fantasy fiend. My favorite game is VII and all of its spinoffs, and I am also a big fan of X, X-2, and Dissidia. Don't ask me how long I had Dissidia on order.
I'm also too lazy to do anything fancy with this post. Sorry.

...Oh, this isn't an AA meeting?... You lied to me Poi ninja This has NOTHING to do with the therapy the judge ordered!!!
Yah, totally just kidding. Maybe. Sometimes. Ish.
I'm Poisyn's younger brother by about 4 years, which as you are about to read, explains a lot about me.
I enjoy Fantasy and Sci-Fi novels- it kinda runs in the family- and I'm not much into writing... except for RPing, due to an interest Poi sparked for me a few years back. I now have a small army of OCs with which I shall rule the world. Almost all of which have some degree of magical ability. (A/N: Unlike Poi, I'm not great with coming up with powers, so I sometimes end up going to Final Fantasy Wikia and working down.)
I enjoy anime and manga, but as I get most of my supply from Poi who's off at University, I have nothing I'm currently working on in that area.
Music... I kinda dabble when it comes to favorite bands. Currently my favorite is Muse. Don't ask why, I just like it.
When I'm not on Gaia, I can usually be found playing World of Warcraft. Level 80 Blood Elf Death Knight. Who I have officially turned into one of my OCs. Beware, for I have no soul.
If someone even mentions the Kingdom Hearts series, I will rant on you. I know absolutely everything about the games, even though I haven't actually played them (Poi has beaten 1 and just about 2, I just navigated).
Long story short, my entire life is divided between school and the computer. And Mountain Dew.

Hey, there!
I don't really know anyone except for Rodrik (and the introductions I've read), so I feel like a loner, but here we go!
My birth name is Laura. Nicknames include Lar, Lola, Lolli, Jumelle, Ama, and Lalalalalalalalalalalala (Yes, exactly that many). I am 14 (the 'baby') and a freshman in highschool. I used to read more than I do now, but I think that's because I had more free time. Because of English, I'm currently reading Romeo and Juliet and A Tale of Two Cities. When I have time, I like reading just about anything really. I'm not much of a writer, just an RPer. I love music, couldn't live without it. My favorite is rock/metal, but I'll listen to just about anything. My favorite band right now is Interpol. I play the violin in my highschool's symphony orchestra, I'm slowly learning piano, and next year I'm going to be learning guitar and drums as well. I don't really do the manga and anime thing, and this will be the only sentence on that because everyone else took care of praising it. =). I don't really have a favorite movie because I've seen so many, but I like all kinds. Horror would have to be my favorite. I like The Breakfast Club, Deja Vu, Friday The 13th, and Hostage. I'm on the computer when I can be, but my mom likes letting me on for an hour a day. I love video games. RPG and FPS are my babies. Currently, my favorite RPG is Perfect World International and my favorite FPS is Combat Arms. Other than that, I don't do much else. I wish I could say I have a life, but that could be a lie. I'm usually in a good mood and even if I'm not I usually act like I am, so I wouldn't worry about that. Um. I guess that's it. Oh yeah, I adopted a dog today! =)

Kohana, here in the flesh (virtually?)...so hiya! I’ll be feeling old again after New Year’s Day -sigh- Anyway. Most call me Kohana, Hana, Fujii or Ko or any other name you come up with, I’m fine with...as long as they’re not offensive =)
I love to read long novels and I often get wrapped in them that I begin to forget what time of day it is. Also when I play video games, I mean, really, you lose track of time really quick xD I watch anime. I can’t say much about a favourite movie, but a genre I love to watch is horror/thriller.
Hobby-wise, I make up some random parts for stories and I sketch out some anime characters by looking at a pic of them(will upload some if you want?).
I was told “ok” was actually a sideways person and making me notice that a name people call me here, Ko, was a person doing the splits. Hahaha...
I (sort of still) play Ragnarok Online. I play on Eternity RO and it’s F-R-E-E -looks towards Eva briefly- lol
Most of the time I’m mistaken to be younger than I am -sweat- so it makes me laugh when they realize I’m not the age they thought I was. Hm. I have dimples that are way too noticeable << Uh...what else to say...I’m short? Almost 5’4”, I guess x.x
