So insomnia has graciously allowed me to witness the last few moments of the event.
I didn't see an event thread so I'm posting here for event discussions instead of making a new thread because it doesn't look like too many of you all participated. XD
Aaaaaanyway, the announcement has yet to come out.
But judging by the event threads, I think it's clear who the real winners are.

Overall, the actual event was alright, but not at all what I was hoping for imo.
Kinda lame.
Maybe it's just because I'm older and not as easily impressed now.
But I am really excited to see what happens with the manga.
