Savory nommable!
What you need
Medium mixing bowl
Non-stick skillet
Ingredients
1 lb lean ground turkey (or chicken, or beef)
1 cup shredded cheese (or! if you live near a cheese factory, look for their curd chips! some of them come pre-seasoned and are COMPLETELY awesome in meatballs and meatloaf)
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dill weed
1 cup breadcrumbs
2 large eggs
1/4 tsp of seasoned salt.
lil bit of butter for the pan
Mix up all ingredients into an even consistency in the medium bowl, I prefer to use my hands for this, but if you're squeemish on raw meat, a spatula. When evenly mixed, roll out rubber-ball sized balls (like those gumball machine prizes) and set onto a tray. Heat your pan with the butter to a medium heat on the stove. Place your meatballs in the pan up to nine at a time and cook by rolling them around in the pan to evenly carmelize them. This takes about eight to twelves minutes each batch, but keep in mind nine meatballs is about one meal portion for bento.
Package and freeze for later, or snarf with a lil honey mustard sauce straight off the pan!
