Hello, how is everybody doing? ^.^.
Ok, seriously though, it will be awhile before I can dedicate the time needed to open one of my campaigns but, until then. I'm opening this thread to help our current DMs, if they want it, any prospective DMs, and all you silly mortal characters. I'm not completely conceited, although i'm sure this thread will seem that way haha. I'm just confident in my abilities smile .
First, my credentials... I've DMed some 15 campaigns, and while the number seems small, they were all long-term, multi-year campaigns and some of them simultaneous. Outside of that, i've guest DMed about 50+ quick dungeons and I sub DM for my friends when they're busy. I'll admit i'm not current past v3.0, i'm still learning everything there is to know about v3.5 and i'm looking for the new book for v4.
Secondly, some notes on the worlds and campaigns i'm offering. I have everything from single dungeons to a small universe (I have to warn you though, it takes a lot of skill and dedication to run the universe one, I've worked down every detail from economics to a staggering list of NPCs.). Also, if you want the maps your going to have to wait... like 3-4 days, till I get back home. I'm currently in transit and should be home sometime in the beginning of nov.
Ok, now that i've made myself seem like a complete dork and a nerd. I'll put up a formal list haha.
Campaigns:
.....-Maps for Dungeons, Countries, and Worlds (Self-Explanatory, I have digital copies available since I switched to using my laptop to DM because paper just doesn't cut it nowadays.)
.....-Pre-Builts (I've done all the work down to each NPCs personality, you just have to run it)
DM Advice:
.....-Learn to be a DM (I can bestow upon you the wisdom needed to be a DM)
.....-Story Creation (Need help coming up with a backstory for your campaign? Or maybe for that particularly tricky villain who's past consists of 'amnesia'?)
.....-Random Advice (I'll look at whatever or listen to whatever and tell you what I think. Or maybe you just want an idea to spice up a lull in your campaign? One good idea, never put a portable hole in a bag of holding... it never works out good. Ever made your player's do a roll against death? They're fun ^.^)
Character Help:
.....-Bendies (Your DM will hate you but, I know the ins and outs of the rules so you can tweak your character just the way you want him/her/it to be. Neutral Cleric ftw)
.....-Backgrounds (I wont create one for you, but i'm very good at inspiring people and then yelling at you for being stupid.)
.....-How to (Same as learning to be a DM, being a character can be just as complex as being a DM if you want it to be.)
Random Stuff:
.....-Ever been to nuklearpower.com and read 8-bit theater... good webcomic. Anyway, there's a side part called Ask RedMage. Think of this like that, ask me something, anything, and i'll answer it to the best of my knowledge.
.....-Oh, and I know alot about computer stuff, if you have questions on BBS, hex, or some other language like c++.
