 Kaius tip-toed towards the water of the river, edging closer. Or at least to him. To anybody passing by, he would look to be pretty close to twenty feet away. It wasn't the water, it was the running part of it he didn't like. Anytime he was near it all he could think about is falling in and being dragged down the river. He shuddered as the thoughts crossed his mind. After a grueling ten minutes, he was finally within a few feet of the water, sniffing unsurely at it, tail down and ears back. No, Kaius, you are going to conquer it this time. No more being teased about it. It had been a very long time since anyone had actually teased him. He had sprouted up as a kip and was bigger than most of the other boys early on. They had quit teasing him when they figured out he could toss them with little effort, one of the pluses to being big.
He edged ever-closer and stuck one paw in a little bit and then yelped and flew backward towards the trees, fur on end, panting. Thank god nobody was here to see this...

 Sure it was a hot day. The sun was high on the sky , there were no clouds around and almost no wind. Iantha felt like she was boiling and about to melt away. Good gods was it to much to ask for a little breeze? Then there was the fact she was alone. Mikaila had gone to help Luxiferna with her new babies, Emmet was MIA and Samael was doing gods know what. What do to on such a hot, yet still beautiful day. Well go and play in the river of course! She could use a swim, it will make the heat bearable and might keep her entertained for the rest of the day.
With this in mind she had made her way toward the river, besides se was hoping she could met someone new!. With that in mind she arrived at the river and before jumping in she saw another giet at the other side. But…what exactly was he doing? Curious about the strange one Iantha dived in without making a noise, swam across the river and looked up at the yellow-orangeish male, then after a few second she got back to the surface, a huge grin on her face. “Hello!!!! Who are you? what's your name? What are you doing?” she asked, her voice filled with curiosity

Kaius saw the pretty lavender female come out of the trees and was completely distracted. He hadn't seen her around. He took a step towards her and then heard the river. He glanced at the water and then back at her and decided he didn't want to know her that much. He yelped and ran as close to the waters edge as he dared when she lept in. Oh no!!!! What if she drown!?!?!?! Was he brave enough to jump in after her?! He didn't even know her!!!! He looked at the running water intently, hoping she was a good swimmer. As she walked out onto the shore as if the swim were nothing.
As soon as he thought she was on safe ground, he ran up to her, ignoring her speaking, "Are you crazy?! I mean, you made it across, but what if the water had gotten you?!?! You'd be down the river!!!!!!!! MAYBE EVEN DEAD!!!!!" He wimpered, his ears back at the thought. He looked at the river again, backing away as he realized he was only a few feet from the rushing water. Why was he so afraid of it? He didn't know. Maybe he fell into a river as a young child? He didn't know because he couldn't remember anything before a few years ago.

Iantha ignored him and gave him a good luck. hmm...he was quite good looking but that look of fright on his face didnt not looked so well on him. She had idea what all the fuss was about, she had just gone for a dive. The girl keep flicking her tail from side to side and then shook the water of herpelt, a wide grin still on her face.
Then she giggled at him " A bit of water never hurt anyone!!" she said happily "It's so hot in here and the water is so cool =w=" she sat and tilted her head at him. "I get it! you are afraid of water!!!" she giggled even more and shook her head "That's silly! there's nothign to be afraid of! seeee?" she splashed some water with her tail and smiled.

Kaius cursed himself internally for freaking out as he looked her over up close. She was quite pretty from a distance, but up close she was stunning. He always had had an appreciation for a pretty girl. Along with his height, his appreciation for girls had developed early and by this point in his life, he had become quite the stud. He did his best to ignore the water, reminding himself that the water wasn't going to reach out and grab him. "It's not so much the water as, er. . . the fact that it is running. . . I don't like the current. It makes me. . . um.... uncomfortable." He stammered, wrestling with his fear. He twitched as she splashed the water with her tail. He put on his gentleman face and forced himself to ignore the river. "Um, I'm sorry, how rude of me, I am Kaius, and I apologize for yelling, I was simply worried for the safety of such a beautiful young woman." He was hoping maybe he could gain some ground back with this pretty 'giet, even if he had freaked out about the water for no logical reason.

Made her giggle. Check. Worried for her. Check. Looks.Double check. Iantha squee'd internally. Now that he had calmed down he looked even better than before. "Hmm well..the current is not that strong at this part of the river so it's pretty safe for those who want to go for a swim! She smiled once more and nodded "Kaius huh? hmmm i like that name" she added with a flirty voice. Buuut then she couldnt help but to blush as he called her beautiful. Sure she liked her how she looked and tried to take care of her appearance but she had never considered her self beautiful, it was hard to think that of yourself when you live with an stunning girl as Mikaila, but that was another story.
If he was trying to get on her good side, he had definitely gained a few dozen points.
"My you'll make me blush Kaius!" she laughed and flicked her tail, moving it away from the water " And what is a good looking gentleman like yourself doing by the river on this hot-as-hell day?"

Kaius grinned, sitting so that he was facing her, but as far from the water as he could be without appearing standoffish. He was NOT going to tell her that he was trying to conquer his fear of water. He did not want her to decide she would help him and then see him freak out again. So, he grinned and said, sounding as sincere as possible, "Well, I was sitting around the other day thinking that my life was awfully dull. So I decided that on the next hot day I would come to this spot and wait for such a beautiful lady as you to walk into my life, obviously." he grinned widely, winking at her. "but I would very much like to know said lovely lady's name."
