~Background~
Nami was never one of the most talented students in the school and never one of the more popular coming from a disgusting little town in Rukongai. She was very slow at learning the basics and it took her a while to learn to fight. Once she became a little older things became easier for her because of how much she had to struggle. She quickly made up for all of her lost slow years and advanced through the ranks being one of the first people in her class to join the actual ranks of the shinigami. After overcoming many battles she became a lietenant and soon a Captain of the 6th squad. She doesn't let being captain go to her head most of the time and focuses on being the best she can for her team. She respects all of her fellow captain members and will follow orders always.
~Personality~
Kind hearted, never lets a soldier fall behind and always treats everyone with respect. She has a soft love for animals and loves to gives hugs but never lets people know that finding it to be embarrassing. She can be cold and harsh when means be but tries to avoid that. Mostly loves to be by herself and enjoys the silence of an empty room.
~Techniques~
Being a captain Nami has mastered almost all of the kidou arts and Shunpo. She is fast on her feet and can think of strategy's quickly in the heat of battle and is very good at figuring out the enemy and his/her techniques and weaknesses while fighting.
~Zanpakuto~
Nami's sword is Ogorumaru.Small for a Zanpakuto but more closely resembles a large scimitar. Always seems to have a tint of red in it.
Shikai:Ogorumaru is a special fire type sword that glows a deep red when released with fire burning on the edges. It grows slightly smaller in size but makes up for that fact with the flames that burn around it. She has a special technique with her sword where she can throw the fire at her opponent and control it with her sword. Lowers her defense a little and keeps her in offense mode for most of the time.
Bankai:In her Bankai mode the sword reforms to make a large actual scimitar that doubles into two scimitars that she can use to control the objects around her to burn and attack as she wishes. being two swords Ogorumaru in Bankai can both defend and attack. The fire around the edges grows sharper and if someone is close enough to it can be cut in the same way as they would be by the actual sword therefore increasing the damage taken by a direct hit. Takes a massive amount of Raitsu though and Nami can only use it up to three or four times if she's lucky.
Zanpakuto spirit: The spirit of Ogorumaru is a serpent as big as Nami with legs and arms like a human.
Shikai incantation: Burn them all to ashes Ogorumaru.
