Hee. I play DDR on my StepMania with 397 songs. LoL. @_@ Technically, I'm still a newb, since I started like.. November 23rd? But.. I'm already doing quite a few heavy songs. Like 8 footers.. So.. yeah. Anyway, felt like posting something here so that I'd have other than my Hexagon/Square place thing in the Spam place now.. x_x'

A program for the PC that simulates DDR. www.stepmania.com
However, it won't come with any songs, so you'll have to download them seperately. they can be found at www.ddruk.com
As for playing on the pad, you'd have to either take one of the pads you already have and buy a converter for whatever system that pad is made for, to the USB, so you can connect it to your computer. I got the Ignition Pad 3.0 from RedOctane, that costs $110, which comes with a connection to the USB, as well as the PS2 and XBox, so I just use that. www.redoctane.com

I personally love Stepmania (although I wish I had the time to perfect my one two hand doubles and work my theme and note skin projects). DDRUK is great for offical songs but Bemanistyle hands down has the independent step creator market dominated.
As for a converter, I will make the suggestion for those of you who want to play but don't want to spend money on a USB adapted pad is to look for a PS Joy converter. They were supposed to have been discontinued but if you find them they're just perfect and work wonderfully on any pad.
