You can use those internet sites as reference guides when working with codes. Google html tutorials and such and you can find many more.
The way I recommend to learn html and other coding languages is to review codes already made on these tutorials and change them to your liking. You get a better understanding of how the codes are used.
You can begin by using your computer Notepad to insert the codes. Save the file as a .html or similar (but not a .txt because that is not web site extension).
