Konichiwa!!!! Hello, I am known as Raven, and here I will post some of my work for you guys to read, and comment on. Comments are very much welcome as they are greatly appreciated by me. I love to hear your thoughts on my poems, and what you think of my work. I soon hope to publish a poetry book of my own someday, just keep in mind that a lot of these are just first drafts. They are not the fished product of my work. That is why I need some help so I can maybe make my poetry better...and hopefully come up with a finish product. ^^

Earthquake

Sitting here in this room
The lights blaring down
My thoughts racing threw
My head as these words
In this book seem to be getting
Smaller and Smaller the voice
Of a distant person talking
My eyes drifting off as I start to see in a blur
Now in darkness thinking
Of what is going on
An earthquake!!! Shaking
Of my body in great terror
I jump up and look around
Quickly blushing setting myself
Back down in my chair
I realized then it was the
Teacher who shook me not
An earthquake, and I was
Back in School Dazing off
Once again with the other
Kids laughing at me, and the
Teachers hard cold stare burning
Holes in my skull for dozing off

Battles Past

Here I am as I lay in my bed
Looking at the black abyss that is my ceiling
My mind wondering as my eyes shift
Thinking about my life that is
About my life that once was
How things used to be
How things should be
My life crashing down
Like a plane that's out of control
Killing my dreams of who I am
Of who I want to be
It is hard to regain what I've lost
Of my life's Destiny
Left with wounds of battles past
And the thoughts of those yet to come
My head spinning at the thought
Of the fights I've seen
With the death in my life
My hands stained with crimson red
From my past all the things I have done
Unable to look to the future
Because of my past
Unable to wash away the crimson
That had befallen my hands

Three Great Knights

Do you remember when we where kids
When we all first just met
We where playing around that river
Our little made up games of
Great dragons, knights, and dames
Our child like love forever growing
Our friendship we promise was going
To be till eternity, till the end of time
But it seems like eternity had got
Cut real short for two of the three
Amigos the three Great Knights forever
But now two of the Great Knights
Have been slayed by the dragons
Of out old lore we used to play
Two of the heroes cut down it the
Prime of their life every thing going for
Them but with a swing of a swift
Blade they where taken from me

My sisters, my friends, my fellow Knights
Now I am left to save the world
By myself, no fellow Knights to help
For my Knights now are with the Lord
Watching over me as my guardians
My protectors, and my guides
Threw the darkness that I walk threw
And my pain they help see me threw
Even after death they still are with me
In my heart, and always around me
Guarding me as angels now and forever
We still stay the three omegas, and
The three Great Knights of old time lore
For I wait to see the day
The day when the three Great Knights
Stand together once more by
The golden gates of heaven like when
We where children acting out an old time lore

a boy toy

a girls heart is not a toy
its not a play thing to be messed with

it could easily be enchanted
as it could be broken
so you see a girl doesn't need a boy
who thinks the heart is a toy
but a man that will enchant
and not brake the heart

you broke my heart
you took my soul

my heart was weak
but my love for you still strong
ill never forget those final good byes

stomped on and forgotten

you used me and tossed me aside
you thought that you could hurt me
you thought i was in pain

you stabbed me through the heart
you stabbed me in the back
you thought you hurt me were it hurt most

you only wanted some other girl

you didn't care about me

you thought that it would hurt

those words are little
those words say a lot

they could mean anything
they are painful for me
those little words

to me they mean forever
they mean ill never see you again

those words mean pain
