One of the main gates of G.E.A.R.B.O.L.T located in the town of Dual Gear, one of the main small towns of the city. These gates are powered by magic and operated by three Meta-Mages that consistently stand guard from dusk to dawn. These men are responsible for initiating their own mana into these gates and empowering their main ability, which is to dictate who leaves and enters the city. Without these men, either of them is possible unless by force equaling the amount of mana being initiated by them to open them. Entering from these gates will take you to another side of town known as Low-Gear, an area ran by a guild by the name of Cerulean Despair.

I, Am the red lighting! Akai Hekireki Akai sighed as she made for the gates. " I think I been in this town for the longest time, and am going to explore....and kill some of those damn thieves more often" Akai said as she started to walk away.... and outward.
 And DAMN, that's sounds corny!

"That was amazing. I dare say this whole thing isn't so bad."
The wings and tail now gone, Myles approaches the gates, playing upon his guitar a common travelling song to advertise his profession and make clear his purpose for entering the city.
The gates crack open to allow him to pass. He bows graciously in thanks to the guards far above, and enters the city.

By the time Mikel and his grandfather had managed made towards the edge of the gates, Geist would be standing where a couple of feet away from them. Letting the old man escape was a result of him dropping his guard in the middle of battle. It couldn't be helped. His interest in Cheville had dropped a long time ago during their battle. Even Wrath had taken less interest in the woman's capability, hence why it's guard had dropped slightly when Mikel rescued the Chieftain from it's grasp. But the only thing they managed to accomplish was pissing Geist off a bit. If it weren't for his sneak attack, Geist may have actually gave the little Moon Cub. Apparently Zero got his a** kicked by this same Moon Cub since Geist was looking him in the face now. His golden eyes narrowing upon the young boy as if he were fresh meat to the table. Geist was somewhat grinning. Because of the fact that the kid actually thought this was the part where they go home with their Chieftain.
As if it would be over just that more quickly. Hell no. The only way they were getting out of this one was over Geist's dead body. Anyone who had a problem with it would have to face Geist himself. "So you wanna jump in this too huh!!" Wrath began constricting itself even tighter around his body now. It wasn't in response to the kid's strength or seishou, but mainly because of its' bloodlust. For some reason it wanted to eat this child. "Wrath seems to like the smell of your seishou kid, it looks like you're gonna serve as a little desert." He said leaping off across the pavement towards the Mikel, but instead of stopping there he would simply land in front of the chieftain, blocking him off from wherever he was trying to head on the edges of the city. "Whoa where do you think you're going pa pa? You didn't think this s**t was over did you?!! Well!! Answer me!!" He rose a fist before the man's skull, the blazing skull face formed upon the glaive like knuckles forming at the ends of the fist, however it would only stop an inch before the man's nose.
He had almost forgotten his mission for a second. "Piece of s**t, I don't know why the hell Professor wants you but if it were up to me your a** would be grass!!" Instead he pushed his hand in front of the old man as if protecting him from the others, when truthfully he was actually guarding the old man as if he were a mere package to be delivered, and would snatch him up the minute someone attempted something. "I tell you what kid. We're going to play a little game. First I break you, then I give them to professor just to see if he can identify what you are? How does that sound pup?" As he stood in front of the area, he turned back to notice the ship had already fell. He wondered for a second if the others had made it outside of it just yet. Not that he cared, but just to see if they had made it out in the same manner as he did. The woman's voids held too many weakness to them, so many that he didn't have enough fingers to count them with.

The old man stood stopped once Geist jumped in front of him. Of course the Chieftain had dealt with many situations such as these before. "You poor creature." He said nodding his head in pity for Geist. "Look at what they've done to you." He began coughing again, once again burying his face in his palms. The chieftain had dealt with many situations such as these before. In fact when the village had faced it's time of peril, he was one of one standing on front end of the incident. Back then he wasn't as sick as he was now, and if at least half the power were in reach, he would have enough strength to thwart off such a foe. "As you can see my people will not give up. No matter how many times you capture me and neither what you do to me afterward. They will continue. Our village holds loyalty, unlike you've ever seen before. You have a chance to change your ways son, what drives you to do such things?" He removed his face from his right hand, somewhat gaining a little composure.

"Damn right, we're gonna keep pushing through." Though he wanted to really go head to head with the Geist, in his mind he knew he really couldn't without revealing himself to the public of Gearbolt. Therefore he would only used the strength that he had access to currently. It was bad enough that his arm was still fried from his earlier instance with the Gearbolt soldier from before and now he had to stand his ground against this Geist. He watched as Geist held his grandfather in hostage once again. His speed as of now wouldn't compare to that of Geist in that transformation, and it would make it all the more difficult to retrieve him. But he had to think of something. Looking around for a second at his surroundings, Mikel slammed both fists into the ground before curling up large pieces of pavement into his hands. Of course, the rock was brittle and most of it was already falling apart but with this he would pound Geist into a pulp when the moment came for it. "You think just because you have my grandfather that this is going to change. Think again, this is only the beginning. You think after your little stunt today that we're gonna let up?" He said sending the large pieces of brick and gravel towards Geist's feet. However this was only out of anger, and not his actual beginning of his attack. "Either way this goes, there's gonna be trouble for this city period. So you might wanna think hard on your next decision."

Cheville had moved along with Mikel and the Chieftain when they were escaping the ship as it was coming to a rash landing and the admirals belief that he was escaping trough some whole in her void would be funny to suggest since the void about the ship was a sphere exceeding it's limits and Cheville as the axis or center of the defensive voids hold. So what they were escaping out after was right into a the same space that moved along with Cheville as she moved, as with all her defensive voids that were created in that fashion from herself. The issue now was that Cheville was affected by the rather large mass of the ship she was no longer grounded to and when she would leap from the ship, it would hit her. Even if she was moving at a different velocity she only could do so much. Her powers were in entirety put trough the increase of her release (not transformation, think* true form*), but it was true that she was being pulled in a few directions. Her void wasn't at it's limit neither her familiars, but Ludwiga did use a bit of power in trying to stop the ship. Yaga on the other hand was conserving energy. Yaga remained in wait over seeing things from and unknown distance near by, smoking a pipe filled with herbs. Ludwiga would be left in a tree knocked out for a bit, since she didn't want to draw as much power as she needed from her master, though she was still healing. Cheville would get up a few yards away from the crash sight, close enough to see Mikel coming face to face with the beast known as Geist, she wasn't going to stop until she could kill the monster. It went with out question that the people of Trance were from this point forward at War with G.E.A.R.B.O.L.T, and this battle was only and introduction to a battle on a far greater scale. Yet this battle as with the many to come mattered, if not the most important currently.
Cheville stood to her feet a bit shaken and looked to her hand that held her Maken. Her hand had clenched and held onto it tight as she took the hit from the cash, a bruise on her side that seemed rather nasty, but she still showed no emotion. Walking into the fray her silver hair and the hue of her entire Release would fit perfectly with the back drop of the G.E.A.R.B.O.L.T gates, her steps silent and paced. She'd look towards Geist and as soon as she had a good look at his face she'd fly across the ground and come to Mikels side. Her void still in effect and still the same size as it was on the ship, still holding them all except for Cheville in the same space of movement. For the fact that none took account of this, Cheville could tell that though Geist had great senses when it came to her voids he wasn't completely able to tell where they were. It was evident when she had to defend against his particle attack and he hadn't noticed her voids shape or change in energy. It could of been that even though he could sense a wide array of things with his power he still needed to focus on something, but then there was his ability to sense her when sh was blind sided. It was if he had a second head, a less pierced and pin-head mind that worked on a level all it's own from Geist. As to what it was unknown. She'd had her assumptions from earlier on, but as to which of her assumptions were true or if she was completely off was still a complete leap of faith for Cheville to take in gaining a leg up in the match.
Cheville had sorted through her most recent thoughts as to her actions to continue this battle, she was sure for now her power would hold , but as to how to stop Geist, it remained that she had yet to land one of her greater attacks on his person. He continued to defend, though rather offensively he was protecting himself. Cheville would talk to Mikel briefly as for they were still in a the mist of a battle to the end. Of what, it remained to be written. "Mikel you can already see his power, can't you? Yet he's been protecting himself quite thoroughly from my strikes recently. I think I can lay a decisive blow but I need your help in keeping him off guard. Don't worry about Gun fire (projectiles), just do what you do best. Face forward and take him on till he's down."
Cheville would step back away from Mikel as if she was going to let him handle Geist as he had already sent his attack. Cheville retain to herself her ability to form Voids with in her domain, which was easily noticeable from her attacks thus far when it came to her void. Since the field was enclosed in her void the whole are was open to her forming a void where ever she felt so long as she made a movement to place it there. She wouldn't let the other easily interfere with Mikels battle, but it was also still her own and the two would end Geist together. " Claw at him till he can't move and inch, Mikel." She'd say in a soft lyrical voice. The People of Trance weren't to be reckoned with, and Mikel was a perfect example of it's faults in pride and most admirable strengths as well. He was like her little brother in many ways and to this extent she was not against sharing her fight. Even if her opponent had deemed her unworthy, the battle wasn't over until one or the other died.

Al jumped out of The Betty running along side of the Admiral. Al knew that they were up against some of the elite magic users of Trance and it would take their utmost military skills to even keep up with them. He could tell this because after their little flight through the forest he was a little winded after trying to keep the ship air born. It was a good thing they didn't have to do much more flying, or so he hoped. What was unfortunate was that because Al was focused on flying he couldn't really pay any attention to what these fighters were capable of.
It looked as though the old guy wasn't even fighting back and the woman that he happened to catch only small glimpses of was now standing next to a man that was most likely the one who first broke in the back window of the ship. This was Al's best assumption. Since Zero was down for the count the Admiral and Al were going to have to work together. Al seen the young looking dark haired man throw chunks of the road at Geist. He would be his first target. Al pointed his Meta Imbued Technological Electrical Discharge Rifle at the man and began fireing at him. The Rifle was not like your average projectile weapon, it fired a small high powered electrical orb the size of a larg marble. It had enough electrical current to not only give someone a heart attack but to burn the surrounding skin.

Oh how Jinx just loved to play, he just enjoyed it so. The running, the jumping, the playful look on peoples faces as he repeatedly slammed his head into their faces over and over again. So there Jinx was, in all his crazed glory, headbutting himself into a very playful companion. Poor guy. He had to be nice enough just to accidentally give poor lil' Jinx a stray curious look and to Jinx, that was all that he needed just to give the guy a greeting. Of course in Jinx's world, a greeting is can be just as deadly as a goodbye. Poor guy. Oh sure, the guy tried to play tag, but they never last that long. Hardly made it a block in fact till' Jinx caught up and 'tagged' him back. Into a wall, With a bat. Oh yes, Jinx would of continued for such a long time in his playful antics if it not would of been for the loud and noisy voices of a few certain people.
"Oi OI oi OI!" He exclaimed towards the others from his little alley way of darkness. "Can't you see that people are trying to have an enjoyable moment here!Come on! Do w come to your shitty little home and bust in on your entertainment! Did your mothers ever teach you anything?!" Once again he exclaimed as his right hand buried itself into the back of the mans chest with a loud crunch and a sickening squelch. "Seriously this just pisses us off. It is far and few in between we get to play." Jinx slowly began to walk towards the group, his arm still very much stuck in the unfortunate man. "It's little situations like this that just piss us off." It was by and around that point that the group of people as a whole would begin to feel the rise of Jinx's Seishou. Slowly but surely, like the rising of a dark tide Jinx's seishou rose and rose till finally manifesting itself around his body. It slowly spread out along the walls of the small alley way, blanketing them in a unreachable darkness. "So now...We will play with you..." Jinx slowly crouched his form down, his dark coloured eyes slowly narrowing in on the group as his mouth crept up into a wide and malicious smile. " All of you, we shall play with ALL OF YOU" In one great burst of Seishou the black scorpion tattoo on his hand released itself from it's bond and blanketed itself across both his arms. "Let the games begin!" With a loud and maniacal laughter Jinx began slamming both his fists down into the ground, releasing wide spread shock waves to spread through the immediate area until finally his arms both became completely buried with in the rough city surface. "Let us play SYN! Let US PLAY" Once again he began laughing, having completely lost himself as more and more Seishou to pour out of his body, causing the darkness to creep even further as thick black tendrils began randomly popping up beneath the feet of every one else, attacking and lashing indiscriminately at them as Jinx's crazed voice echoed through the area.

Geist simply b***h slapped the large pieces of brick and gravel with a blow that reduced it into fine specs of dust that clouded the chieftains' vision who was standing alongside of him. Geist would only chuckle as the woman eyed him with observing demeanor. Apparently she was going about making more assumptions of him. The situation had passed the stage where assumptions were needed, obviously they weren't doing any good being that Geist was still alive and the chieftain was still here. "Whoooo!!! A good pork burger would hit the spot right about now!!" He shouted randomly. Slowly Wrath's armor would retract underneath the back of Geist's shirt. Every few minutes shades of darkness would seep onto his forearms from underneath his sleeve where Wrath would crawl. It wasn't that he was taking the woman lightly, it was just that he had grown bored of the woman. His earlier transformation wasn't required for the battle, as things had been going his way for the time being. But it did at least give him a sense of joy and hype due to the lack of it's usage. "Smart plan if you weren't so open about it babe, but I'll just go along with it for pure shits and giggles." He said sarcastically almost literally knocking the chieftain over from stumbling back with laughter.
The next part was unexpected, a familiar voice in which he had heard many times over had showed up. The sound of Jinx's voice would probably be new and pretty annoying to the others, but for Geist it was his example of a normal citizen. It seemed things were about to get just this munch more interesting now that Jinx had showed up. As if things couldn't have gone anymore wrong for the citizens of Trance. As the tendrils lashed towards his legs, Wrath would react on it's own towards Syn as well. The two of them would become entangled into one large black knot. Seeing this Geist would give his foot a great heave attempting at knocking Jinx on his a**, as the tendrils were indeed stringed to him. Instead Geist would almost fall on his a**. He glanced back over to Jinx who was now screaming about randomly and gave a cheesy grin. "HA!! Pimps screw up sometimes too!! Well would you look at what the damned cat drug in. The more the merrier, the party's just getting started!!" He giggled. His golden malicious orbs rolled back over towards Mikel who seemed pretty anxious and then the the shaman babe. "Pathetic I tell ya, just pathetic. You run all the way here and for what? Only to end up where you are. Stupid, stupid, stupid,. stupid, stupid!!" He exclaimed. "Did I mention stupid?" He gave a shrug before looking over to where Jinx was. "What took your a** so long!!? The party's just getting started!! Let's get this over with, I wanna eat. Go get some damn pork burgers right quick or something, maybe even some tater-tots and ketchup with that."

Now that Cheville had left Mikel to take up arms against Geist with a watchful eye. She wasn't about to forget about the G.E.A.R.B.O.L.T military dogs from the ship. Her mind was still on Geist but she'd take note of the gunfire of the soldier. It was a bit lagged but it still cleared the space in an agreeable time Chville would for a simple defensive void to take the projectile, which most likely traditionally exploded on confirmed physical contact with an object. In which the defensive voids weren't, one could move trough them freely, but the movement it self would be slowed. So the projectile would of curved about the two and into the nothingness. Unannounced to everyone Chevilles void about the mass of them was starting to slowly contract back onto herself. This would continue in the matter of the next hour until was back into it's average radius, Cheville could only hold such mass voids and create them more so naturally when at her best. She was going to have to figure out how to hold out. As for now she she'd shift her power output to 4X of her release. As for Geist noticing her plan it was amazing as to how she wasn't showing any emotion in her expression, due to her makens release. Still he did figure out her intention, and it would be the right assumption on his part. Just as Geist had broken into his now trade mark histerical laughter. Cheville would notice the spike of power not to far off to her side since she was facing the soldiers. Hearing the new comers words she'd just think to herself, My god, how many of these freaks do they bread in this god forsaken city.
It wasn't looking at all on as a positive for the duo from trance as they now faced four of G.E.A.R.B.O.L.T's finest. Two Crazed Meta-mutated freaks and two of the Gearfolks better soldiers. Chevillie wasn't one to give up but things were definitely on a bad note for her and Mikel. She'd have to think of something fast as the situation was growing even move messed up. She was able to keep Geist with her for the better part of the match, but now his mind was now more focused, well at least for his character. Now as Cheville simply leaped from the ground into the air and opened a fire fate on the tendrils, she had another monster of the same caliber. As Cheville came back down to the ground now she'd have to think of who to take on, She couldn't focus on them all and she was saving her able familiar for another purpose. Her blade ready for any more attacks Cheville choose to take the offensive. Cheville noticed that though Geist was so reckless, as he had a pension for getting in her way, but if his attention was no longer on her she could carry on with handling the others. hopefully she didn't have to think of the new comer as a friend of the party of men trying to get the Chieftain to the Institute. From what Cheville could see in the air he attacked the whole lot of them . Taking her chance since the others were most obviously going to be somewhat put off guard. Cheville would open another gate of flame directed at the soldiers. Keeping her wits about her she'd bend the torrent around her diamond encased blase and take her flaming blade across the earth and whip the flame towards Geist.

For the first time Geist noticed something. He had sort have caught a glimpse of it during his battle with the woman on the ship, but he hadn't fully taken the entire thing into mind until now. The woman's techniques reminded him of someone he had come across. Ah yes, it was two people for the matter. The techniques were similar in a manner. Either the woman had directly ripped the man or they both had learned from the same master. Something was a mist here. Her use of extending an element onto another reach was something done by the man who created the guild system of Gearbolt which brought the city closer to being united. Ah yes, good old Crimson King as Geist, Jinx, and many others knew him by. Though they knew him by a more personal name, the Crimson King was a title that the people of Gearbolt crowned him with for his feats. Perhaps he was the one who taught the Onyx Prince judging how he could extend his reach with one element, where over the Crimson King seemed as if he could do with all of them. And now this shaman princess was doing practically the same thing. Perhaps this was why Geist found so munch familiarity in the woman's abilities. These elemental gates were basically the same as when the Onyx Prince changed the nature of his own element, whom he obviously learned from the Crimson King. Now things were falling in place. Taking note of the woman's sword release, it was obvious by now that she was wielding one of the legendary maken of Termina just as the Onyx Prince. Now it was obvious where her moves were coming from. The only thing different in her arsenal of abilities was her ability to create voids. The rest Geist had seen already, and realizing this made it this munch more obvious in her fighting ability. Aside from expressions and things that didn't matter, if anything was amazing it was this. Though the techniques were mirrored, on a level of their power was munch weaker hence why Geist was still at it, unlike his last about with the original user. Jinx of all people would easily recognize these abilities being that he was one of the first people to battle the Crimson King so long ago. Instead the b*****d wouldn't tell anyone that, he'd keep his advantage to himself.
All this process within his head within a matter of seconds just before he would yank the chieftain by the shoulder and leap back a couple of feet to get a nice broaden view in area for what he was about to do. Once the whip came flying, from his arm a manifested wide blade of blackness with a red edge would cut forward into the flying whip. He didn't want to get the old man anymore injured than he was. By leaping backward he would clear the man of the remainder of the whip that was sent towards them as well as Jinx's dancing tendrils in which caused Geist to chuckle with excitement. If he hadn't countered them earlier the old man would probably be chopped sushi. "Alright Jinx, it's your a** after this battle!!" He exclaimed not really letting Jinx know why. Retracting the blade back onto this arm, he couldn't help but wonder what was taking the others so long to come and retrieve the chieftain. Fighting with his hands tied with this old man only made him want to kill the poor old b*****d even more which was bad for Trance and the Institute.

All watched as his ED bolts got near the Trance people. Then all of a sudden they would curve and sort of bounce off some invisible shield that surrounded them. What the heck? Al almost didn't even register that his ED bolts missed their intended target when he noticed a purple hired man head butting the s**t out of some poor man. That's just not right...
In the middle of his last thought a wave of flames threatened to burn Al, Zero, and the Admiral alive if they didn't do some thing. Instantly his defensive training would kick in and he would grab a pallet that was luckily by his feet. Knowing that the Admiral would be defenseless in this given situation Al would hold it up in front of him with the Admiral positioned behind him. The blast would knock Al back hard enough to slam into the Admiral and send the three of them sailing back ward. "MOTHER f**KER!" Al yelled as the hair on his face half burnt off, his shirt and pants caught fire, and then slammed into the Admiral.

Goddess High Witch Baba Yaga
As everyone went about there business Yaga was tending to her duties as a familiar. Though it would seem to anyone who was watching the events of the day that Yaga wasn't one to do anything with out her masters order, and they'd be right to think so, but she did get the go for one thing as the battle had turned for the worse. It was a simple word, "Feed". Yaga was now out on the prowl to feed on any thing she could find the possessed Seishou. Sadly thee were those who were strlling near or around the battle, and then there were the soldiers who could of been in the area. Yaga wasn't exerting energy in her action's as was her style. She held a stealth as she crept by like a phantom in her motar. A strange air abut her as she passed. her mouth was filled with the blue magical flame. Which neither average metal or flesh could fight. Eyeing a few wanders, Yaga moved into action. They seemed to be laughing about a recent theft. Yet the laughter died down as soon as one disappeared from sight. Yaga wasted no time in devouring the boy and his energy. The rest went quickly as they panicked, of coarse they were a bit hard to find at times, it being there home. Yet Yaga was quite the old witch, and she new a bit about the area herself. There were new things in the city, but as for the slums and the older bits, Yaga could remember it like yesterday.
The guards were harder, they stay'd tight and weren't easily shaken by bumps in the darkness of night as Yaga had done with the civilians. Yet feasting on this energy was much more valuable than the others. She captured them when they came to be drawn to the sight of a bloody limb. The bait was well placed, but as for them staying close, it remained a problem. She'd soother trough a beam of metal and have it collapse atop the men, before they could radio. Then she'd feast on their bodies after turning off the radios. Yaga was meticulous in her actions as she cleaned up after her self with her tools at on hand. She also made sure not to eat any important cog in the G.E.A.R.B.O.L.T machine. Just those who could be replaced, and weren't need to report to their post so often. This whole operation was to provide a back lash f power for her master trough the same channel by which she communicated with Cheville, this ability was constructed for Cheville to better handle the stress of Yaga in particular as her familiar. The energy was moderate, but it would help Cheville's constitution and keep there bought a private one for the next hour. Yaga would continue her collecting. Feeding almost indiscriminately, accept for a few moral constrictions given by Cheville she'd eat what she could capture. Of coarse not all her victims were going to be easy as laying traps. Yet it just meant all the more of an reward for her when she filled her gullet. These hunts would last no more than a few seconds or minutes. Having her collect up to fifteen souls before ten minutes had passed, three of which were soilders.

Yuan arrived accompanied by two soldiers from the Institute. He was quite taken back by the amount of people out at the gates. The faces from Trance were for the first time and some others he had seen around in G.E.A.R.B.O.L.T already with the exception of Geist and the Admiral. One of these faces that he hadn't seen in a while was Jinx. The man was a walking experiment that had escaped B-Corporation's hands. B-Corporation had been looking for this man for a long time, hoping that their little project wouldn't fall into the right hands. Clicking his glasses upward, Yuan gave a small smile. Things were getting better and better with each passing night in G.E.A.R.B.O.L.T. Geist had delivered the chieftain to him and one of the most dangerous weapons of B-Corporation had fallen into his hands. For now he would focus on the matter at hand. Capturing the chieftain was one thing, but capturing a lost project of B-Corporation was another matter and required utmost concentration.
"Alright. I'm here to take the chieftain off your hands Geist. Feel free to do what you will with our tourists. Good job Admiral and Al."
With that the two soldiers ran at Geist's side and retrieved the chieftain from his arms. From there the men would gently escort the chieftain to the labs where they would treat his wounds before Yuan could move onto the next project. He needed the man at full health if he expected the next step of his plans to go well. Yuan gave a small mad giggle before turning around and skipping along behind the two men headed for the Institute.
