The Black Market is hidden deep in the underlines of Roughshot. Many people have passed through these unmatched tunnels of trade. Some have left happy with their trades, others have exchanged the sight of the Black Market for their lives without even knowing it...not even their souls have left this place. You can buy, trade, or sell anything from general goods to weapons, and even all the way down to human lives...yes lives. Those two men who run this underground organization of trade go by the names of Number One and Number Two. So if you come to the Black Market expecting a friendly smile for a shiny golden coin, you best think twice. Tread softly for your life might be up for trade before you even know it.

Finally making it to Roughshot, Aeko brushed her forehead in relief. She had traveled a decent distance from Walloon City to Roughshot. Although she could have traveled by ship, she decided go the long way with things as a part of her training. The recent passing months were jobs dealing with low class Mazoku, nothing new. At least with the Mazoku appearing now, things were starting to become a bit more interesting. They haven't appeared since she was a child, and now she could barely remember what they looked like until now. She found herself standing outside of the Cloak and Dagger tavern as she wondered about the whereabouts of her guild nakama. Deciding there was nothing left to do, she headed towards the Black Market. There was always something going on here, and usually she could find Orichi and sometimes Saika hanging around these parts. Old habits die hard as they say.

HANA AYAKA花 彩華 Hana followed Gabriel into the seedy area, her senses on high alert. "So this is the infamous Black Market," she said, looking around. Danger seemed to hang in the air like a stifling cloud, and it set her nerves on edge. She kept a firm grip on her trusted fan. If everything went downhill, she still had a few tricks up her sleeve.

Gabriel looked around at his new surroundings. It reeked of humans, but he was used to that by now. WIth so many bodies around, Naraku was more active than ever. Calm down you stupid keepsake. I'll kill when I see fit. He reminded it. Gabriel found that the black market seemed less than what he had imagined. They weren't as secretive here as they were in other places. However, the feel of needing to check your pockets every second made a real impression on you. Soeaking of which... Gabriel whirled around and caught a child with his hand on Gabriel's wallet, his own grip tightening to form a bruise on the child's wrist. The expression on his face clearly stated that he had not expected Gabriel's reaction as his eyes were wide and he had already started to cry. Gabriel scuffed at the dirty child as he took back his wallet and stuck it in it's original pocket. " Little brat...what did you think you were doing?" The child opened his mouth to speak but Gabriel's gaze told him that if he did, it would be the last thing he ever did. While holding on to the terrified child, Gabriel turned to Hana and asked in a bored tone. " Hey so what are you lookin' for here?"

HANA AYAKA花 彩華 Hana's brow furrowed. She looked at the terrified child, and she leaned over to be at eye level. "That wasn't very smart, now was it," she said to him. The child didn't respond. Hana looked up at Gabriel. "Just let the poor boy go," she said, standing up. She pulled her fan out of her sleeve, fanning herself as she regarded Gabriel and the child. It was somewhat of a nervous tick of hers, an added layer of security by having a weapon in her hand. "To answer you, I'm looking for a specimen of a very special plant that is native to this desert," she said. "It is supposed to be extinct. But I have heard rumors that there are still surviving individuals floating around. All the rumors have pointed me here to the black market."

Gabriel looked from Hana to the child, then back. He huffed before letting go of the child's wrist and gripping his shirt to hoist him up to Gabriel's eye level, which was pretty far since he was over 6 foot. " You know where the damn flower shop is, squirt?" The kid nodded quickly as he stared at Gabriel. A pause followed and Gabriel's eye twitched before growling. " You gonna tell me where it's at brat?" The child quickly pointed behind Gabriel at a tiny store that could have been easily missed had it not been pointed out. " Hm..." Gabriel literally dropped the child as he turned to walk towards the shop, continuing to 'window shop' as he went by stores. The child had taken off as soon as he hit the ground. Gabriel didn't even look back. " A flower? Whatcha gonna do with that?" He asked as he eyed several slaves, two of which were female. Precious hell; I'm hungry! His attention turned back to Hana though, dispite the fact that as soon as she got what she came for, Gabriel was going to tear the place apart.

HANA AYAKA花 彩華 "I didn't say it was a flower," Hana corrected. "A flowering cactus, to be more precise. It is the key ingredient in the only known cure for iron sickness," she informed Gabriel as they walked towards the shop the boy had pointed out. She had long been denied the use of steel weapons due to her faerie heritage, the unbearable stench of iron causing her to feel ill had made practical use of metal impossible.

" Cactus. Flower. Whatever." Gabriel smiled down at Hana. " Iron huh? Guess you are still part fey afterall; a weakness is a weakness." When they made it to the store Gabriel opened the door for Hana; and as soon as the air from inside rushed outside, Gabriel sneezed. Then sneezed again. " Damn flowers. Damn sensitive nose."

HANA AYAKA花 彩華 Hana giggled a little at Gabriel's reaction to the exotic perfumes of the establishment. Hana herself felt refreshed upon entering the store, the earthy soil smelled like home, and the green energy that flowed through the stems and leaves of the plants renewed her own seishou.
She didn't waste any time in locating the store's operator. "I'm looking for something very specific," she said. The shopkeeper raised a brow.
"You don't wish to browse? Certainly I have something that interests you- something you won't find anywhere else," he replied. Hana shook her head firmly.
"Faeflower. Pixiequills. Steelbane. Whatever you want to call it. You know what I'm talking about. You have one, right?" Hana said, her expression dead serious.
"Of course not," the shopkeeper replied indignantly. "They are extinct, haven't seen one in over ten years. Every last one cooked up into that foul potion, Antiferum, was it? There's none left, no one has one."
Hana narrowed her eyes. "How much," she said, pulling a purse from within her sleeve. The shopkeeper's eyes widened. "If I had one, it would be a very high price for such a rare and valuable specimen," he told her. "Surely more than you would pay."
Hana dumped the entire purse of coins on the counter. "Go get it," she said. The shopkeeper examined the coins carefully, counted them, and gave a slight nod showing his approval. He went to the back of the shop. A smile twitched at the corner of Hana's mouth. The man returned with a small wooden crate. She opened it, and putting her hand in, examined the energy of the plant that lie therein. She had never encountered a live one before, but she had run across samples of Antiferum, the iron-sickness-curing potion, and this plant carried the same signature.
Hana looked at Gabriel, a smirk plastered across her delicate face. "Let's go," she said, going towards the door as fast as she could.

Gabriel growled at the store owner when he proceeded to lie to her. As the man gave the flower to Hana, Gabriel looked around the shop. " I suppose you may need this store later. I'll leave it untouched." As Hana passed him, Gabriel glared at the shopowner and left. " So anything else? I'm ready to give this place a make over." As he spoke, black smoke began to escape from his mouth.

HANA AYAKA花 彩華 "I've got what I need," she said, cradling the cactus in her arms like a newborn. "That guy was a creep, his store could burn down for all I care," she said offhand. She grinned. "Those gold pieces I gave him was enchanted with a glamour. It was just pebbles. I imagine the magic would wear off within the next hour." Glamoured money wasn't something she normally threw around- people tended to remember your face when you cheated them- but this was the Black Market. He had probably stolen the flower anyway. "So, what were you here for again?" She noticed the black smoke. Raising an eyebrow, she had the feeling Gabriel had something destructive in mind. She reflexively clutched her Keepsake fan.

Gabriel smirked " Me? Oh just a few snacks...and a little bit of a stress reliever." He lifted his hand toward the store they had just exited. " Hope you're not squimish." He mumbled as a black mist shot from the palm of his hand and swarmed around the shop. Immediatly the store's outside began to dissolve and a scream could be heard from the inside. Let his gaze wonder from the doomed store, Gabriel spotted several merchants gazing at the destruction he had just caused. When they caught sight of him, however, they decided that it was time to run. Gabriel's threw a punch at one of the fleeing men and a black bullet was shot from his skin. The bullet exited the man's chest and continued on to hit two more bystandards. Gabriel crack his neck and laughed. " Precious hell, I needed that." He watched as many tried to flee from him and he let them. He planned on tracking them down eventually. " I need a damn challenge. I could destroy this entire area within a minute, but it's no fun when there is no one to try and stop me. Maybe I should go looking for the village 'badass'." He was mumbling now and had little to no attention of his surroundings.

HANA AYAKA花 彩華 Hana clutched her prize tighter, as if the raging Gabriel was going to harm her precious plant. She felt a strong desire to leave. "I suppose I won't be worrying about that merchant," she said offhand.[[ooc; Sorry for short super lame post and long reply time. I've been kind of busy, and I didn't really know how to reply now >_>]]

Seeing that the Mazark had started moving earlier, Aeko decided that it was time to get moving. She was curious as to how things turned out with the boys on their mission, and she had heard no word on their mission status ever since they had left. Knowing them they had probably taken things to the next level as usual. By this time, the boys should have made it to G.E.A.R.B.O.L.T so she decided that it was time for her to make her entrance as well. Traveling west, she decided that the best route to take was from here where she would eventually come across the West Gear gate. The gate had been used many times to do business with the Black Market and the Gear City, so she had come to remember the directions like second hand nature.((exit: Oozark Village))
