The Mar Clan of farmers, hunters, and tradesmen on the fringe of Dantooine aren't what they seem. every last one is a decendent of a former jedi or sith. Why are they so peacefully co-exsisting you may ask.
Every one teaches the philosophy of potentium to their children and decendents. the belief that the force isn't light or dark, but inherently good and only your intentions make it evil. They take turns teaching the younglings what they know of philosophy, the force, and even rudimentary lightsaber combat for defense.
Life has gone on like this for many years. But recently the elders have sensed a shadow looming over the future of the village, something larger is comming, and the elders don't know if it's comming for them, or the jedi academy located far away, but on the same planet.
The Rp takes place in the village area, with characters being elders, tradesmen, visitors to the village, or even younger students. feel free to have some freeform here. it's open to all. besides who knows, this unamed shadow may yet spread from inside the village itsself!

Basic Profile/first post guidelines:
I hate profiles and skeletons, so make it part of your intro if you would please. and follow decent non-marysue ness with your character. if you'r a kid no you're not as powerful as ulic-quel droma. if you're an elder (ie like 50+, you are NOT as nimble as one of the younger village members, with the force all things are possible, but be reasonable and fair here guys!)
so basics would include, name, age, appearance, and clothing/carried or warn gear. anything more would be cool, such as profession, but not super necessicary!

Devin walked into a town that seemed to be in the middle of nowhere. He looked at his new MERC job display. He made sure his blasters were okay and checked that his hidden swords were sharp and working. This 21 year old man had taken off his jet pack and stowed it in his ship. That was one thing he couldn't conceal He came in the guise of a traveler and walked to the inn of the village.
((He has swords that can block lightsabers hidden in his sleeves. Cough Assassin's Creed Cough. lol and he looks like Altair because I'm original like that.))

((cortosis, or Phrik alloy in the swords? both do the same thing, just a level of style on the preference.))
Jorn, one of the village members stepped off his porch, near the west gate to welcome the visitor. He touched a hand to his bandanad brow, covering where his eyes should be. The man looked human, but though his eyes were covered he moved with a sureness and grace that only the sighted posess.
He looked to be in his early 20's 23 if one were to guess, his platinum blon hair kept cut short on the sides, with a single braid of medium length going down the back. he waved to the man cordialy, "Hail traveler" he said heartily as he brushed the dust off his green-gray working clothes.

Devin noticed a human-appearing figure come out and greet him. Devin bowed and called out rather amiably, "Hello. May I ask where this is?"

Jorn nodded, "You may, this is the homestead of the mar clan, one of the many famlies here on dantooine. You seem to be... well armed, " he said as he took not of the man's equipment, though some was hidden, "I hope you don't mean to use any of that gear on us. we are simple farmers and hunters out here."

Devin was inwardly surprised that the man knew he had weapons. "Hmmm. All is not what it appears." he thought to himself. He nodded and replied, "Of course not, kind sir. These are merely for self defense." He lied a little at the last part, but Devin thought the old man wouldn't notice. "And what of the metal composites in this village that my radar has picked up? Things that seem to be... weapons." he called out, explaining his reason for visiting.

"Did I not mention we are hunters as well as farmers? My apologies." He smirked, "Hunters, as you know have need of weapons, for few men here or anywhere are brave enough to go against kathhounds and kinrath bear knuckled and unarmored."
He motioned for the stranger to follow him farther inside the semi-walled homestead.

Devin saw the motion and walked in. "Yes... But few... have lightsabers..." he replied with a cold smile on his face.

"But my friend, you are here on dantooine, where except perhaps coruscant or ossus are there more jedi relics able to be found by the canny throughout the ages?" He was refering to the twice rebuilt jedi academy found on the planet, and the multiple famous forceusers who used the planet as stepping stones for their journies.
"Check your scanners, we have no machining plants, and none of our gear is newer than 200 years old." this much was true. their lightsabers were family relics, only the crystals changing between generation, the older ones oftimes being buried with their wielder in tombs located in the secret crystal caves not too far away.

Devin merely nodded at this. "I see... I would like to order some food so would you please guide me to the nearest place to eat?" he called out as an excuse. He would eat and leave to the crystal caves, the reason he was here in the first place. He needed a crystal for the modified sword cell he had.

Jorn sensed much deception here, but stayed quiet about his misgivings. "Well any home here you could eat at, if the owner knew you and wanted to serve you, we have no formal restrants. But if you were to offer to go on a hunting party with one of use surely that would repay the family for the food you partake of."

Devin thought for a moment there. "Is there anybody who would like to go hunting with me?" he asked curiously. "This would be an excellent time to gather info on the location of the crystal caves." he thought to himself. He smiled and waited for an answer.

"I shall wait... I shall be at my ship until nightfall." Devin replied as he turned around and walked out of the village. He went into his ship and got some food and a tent out. He pitched the tent and got his food ready. He turned on the ship's camo and started eating.
