I guess I'll just be posting my opinions on movies here. You can post your opinions about my opinions or just your opinions on the movie I'm posting my opinion on. :3 Just don't bump. That's annoying.

SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE
I personally loved this movie. It wasn't explicit or gruesome, but they didn't hide how hard life was with them. Some things disturbed me, like the taking out of the child's eyes, but that just made it all the better. They didn't hide how terrible it is.
I loved how original the story was. It was refreshing to see something so unique and so well-done. And in a different country! It was good to see a different culture.
The only thing I didn't like was the relationship between him and Latika. Their relationship progressed too quickly, like they were best friends for the entire time when in reality, they barely knew eachother. Every time they met, either he or she was captured just a few days after. They were separated for years, and in the end they were all like 'OMG, THERE SHE IS, I LOVE HER ALREADY'
It didn't bother me THAT much, but it's still there. I think they should've been together more often, had more personal moments. I'm glad it wasn't centered around them, though.
But over all, amazing movie, and I highly reccommend it. From 1 to 10, it's a 9. In my opinion. o.o

THE USUAL SUSPECTS
I know this isn't a new movie, but I just have to say something. I highly reccommend this movie to people who like to have to think, to be confused, and to figure things out in surprises and sudden realizations throughout the movie. You would never expect what happens at the end, and it keeps you locked in, if you like the crime kinds of movies.
This movie is about 5 people who were suspected for highjacking a truck full of weapon equipment. Those five people had already committed crimes before this. Two of the guys already knew eachother and needed a few more people for a job that they'd been assigned by some guy (don't remember very clearly).
So once these guys are cleared they do the assignment and meet with the guy. I don't know the exact orders of things, so I'll stop there, but this movie is a lot better than I expected it to be. I could watch it quite a few times without getting bored and without catching on all the details. The second time I watched it I picked up on things I didn't see before.

FIGHT CLUB
OMG OMG OMG
I love Brad Pitt. Not him as a person (he left his wife for Angelina Jolie and had, what, eight kids with her?), but him as an actor. And as a sexy beast, but nevermind that. He's very good at acting, though he's morally confused.
And Helena Bonham Carter. She is my all-time FAVORITE actress. So good, and I love how she looks. She's wierd-looking, but so gorgeous! She's amazing as messed-up chicks, but can also be a loving mother (Charlie and the Chocolate Factory). She can play anyone, I swear it.
And Edward Norton. He's good as a bad-guy and a good-guy. I think these three are among my favorite actors, and all in one movie?! That's a great deal, my friend.
This movie is so unique and wierd. It's bloody and disturbing, and quite graphic (and sexual), but my goodness, it's so well-made and awesome. I don't know why, but Fight Club is way up there, though I don't reccommend it to anyone under fourteen, or anyone without the maturity of a seventeen-year-old. Definatley not for sheltered children.
The quote in my signature? From Fight Club. :3

TWILIGHT
I liked the books. Good writing, nice story, and pretty original.
I really didn't like this movie, though. I find Kristin Stewart very annoying and just stupidly akward. She stutters too much, is melodramatic, a huge drama-queen. She freaks out whenever Edward says something unexpected. And in the scene near the end, where she's got the venom in her blood and she's in pain, I just think that I could have done that better.
It was also boring. The scenes didn't flow just right, and it seemed to take forever to get to the end, even thought it was too short as well. They took out and changed way too much, which I don't like.
And the camera. I just didn't get it! Why did they have to show the same scene multiple times in wierd angles?! Why did the camera swoosh and swing around as the cast stood still? I found that really pointless.
And the effects. Oh my gosh, the way they run and jump. At least try. Speed it up to make it faster. I fall faster than them. I know they're supposed to land lightly on their feet, but that doesn't mean put the jumping in slooooow mooootion.
The actors. Like I said about Bella, they were just too akward. It didn't seem real, it didn't seem natural. I don't know anyone who is that akward around people. I know Bella is supposed to be a little akward, but that is through the ENTIRE movie. She's supposed to be in-love with Edward, but they act like strangers.
The overall mood of the movie was just wierd, and I didn't get it at all. I don't like that director, and I am SO glad they found a new one, which brings me to my next review...

NEW MOON
New Moon was a lot better than Twilight. Better directer, not so swing/swoosh with the cameras. And the scenes flowed a little better.
But my God, Edward is just UGLY in that one. They need to make him put on more muscle and shave his chest, it's just disgusting. This is for teenagers, and teenager girls like smooth, muscly man-chests! But dear Lord, good job on Jacob. *catches breath* Whoo... I'm not even a Jacob fan, and that... that was really impressive. Lost concentration at a few points in that movie.
I didn't see the point with all the slow-motion in that, just like in Twilight. But dear GOD thank you for Jasper. I was screaming, "EAT HER" when he was attacking Bella, and I felt a point in time where I thought it would have been much better if he had. That selfish, idiotic human girl. I hate her, even in the books.
The ending outraged me. If you haven't seen the movie, maybe you shouldn't read this, but GAH! I was pissed when I left the theater, and the last impression is the lasting impression. That lowered my rating down half a star. He says, "Marry me first." It shows her face and then it goes black. That's the worst cliff-hanger ever. I love cliff-hangers, and that was a fail one.
About 2 and a half stars, three, maybe three and a half. Not really sure.

Yeah... Twilight was really bad and this seems to be better and worse... I can't wait till I go see it... xD! I'm bringing honey to coat stale popcorn to throw at people who start screaming. And If I hear Team whatever I'm yellin Team Potter! Ahhh... so excited... I love MLIA... Except now everything is unoriginal and totally fake.
