Xalia looked up from her bowl to see that Shurvayas had arrived. Looking away from his direction, she dismissed the fact he was there until she remembered that she had wanted to find out if the bloodwine that she and Cyrus found in their room really was sent by him. Xalia looked over at Meg. "Sorry, Meg, hun. Will you excuse me for a minute?" She stood, leaving a few coins for the ice cream before making her way over to the Cambion.
Raivyn looked over at Edgar as she started to stand. "I'm going to leave you to your rest, then. Perhaps I'll see you again down in the bar. In fact, my room's right down the hall," she said as she smiled at him softly. She made a small bow. "Rest easy," she said before leaving him quietly. She made her way down to the bar, grinning lightly when she saw Shurvayas.

"Yeah completely...sure.." Edgar's arm dangled in the air waiving weakly. "See you in some, yeah, thingy..." He passed out shortly after. Forgetting to lock his door.

Glimwicket Ranzwig
Glim watched indignantly as the Cambion blew him off. He had half a mind to divert his teleport, but knew that would only further agitate their already shaky relations. The Gnome had no intention to annoy or aggravate the demon, but it seemed that's what had happened. Arrogant and judgmental. He mentally scoffed to himself. Why must all beings be so? Shaking his head annoyed, the Gnome approached the blade embedded in the earth. He knew far better than to physically touch it, so he simply admired it from a short distance. Runes... Ancient ones at that. Certainly uncommon, even for practitioners of darker magics... But the Gnome was learned and wise, having spent over a millennium of his existence seeking knowledge of all races, beings, cultures, and magics. Demonic runes, no doubt. It made sense, considering the Cambion. Shaking his head again, the Gnome sighed before sharply clapping his hands together. Suddenly, he and his illusory double vanished in a puff of green smoke, the sound of shattering glass permeating the air. His destination was near a site of great magics, something he had sensed during his conversation with the demon. Reappearing in the vicinity of the battle with Ithya, Glim, invisible, and his illusory mage duplicate looked around.

Leave no black plume as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken! Leave my loneliness unbroken! - quit the bust above my door! Nathan caught Lan in his arms and kissed her right over Sol's head. He set her on her feet and pointed down the massive hallway. That is where Miss Elynn found the secret chamber. I remember there being a fair number of document in there. We just might find something. Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!' Quoth the raven,`Nevermore.'

Shivers ran down his spine as he felt the sensation of being watched, he gritted his teeth as he shook his head and downed yet another glass of alcohol. Most likely were some of the patrons staring at him from afar wondering if he was there to slaughter them where he stood or he was really the new guardian. Even though he had an answer in his head the unfathomable feeling still bothered him deeply in his chest, it was like a heavy boulder on his chest giving him a hard time to breathe. It was an unfathomable and ill feeling that something was awfully wrong. He looked over his shoulder and noticed Xalia was approaching him for the side, he raised one of his brows in a rather quizzical manner as he wondered what she could possibly want with him, they weren't specifically on good terms with each other yet he didn't mind. As long as she didn't looked at him with the same eyes the other man did he wouldn't really care much about it, he hated those eyes. He had the urge to pull out one of his daggers and carve them out in the slowest and most painful of manner, he gritted his teeth his teeth as he poured himself yet another glass of the savory alcohol. He would need as much as he could to be socially nice to Xalia.

Xalia looked over at Shruvayas and took up one of the many empty seats next to him. "Look," she began, at first not looking up at him. "I know we're not on the best of terms, but I wanted to ask you something before I don't get another chance to." Xalia turned her eyes to him, a look of curiosity. "Did you leave that crate of the bloodwine in Cyrus and my room? I only ask because I couldn't read the label, I figured it was in drow."
Head tilted, Raivyn watched as another girl went up and sat with Shurvayas. Refusing to feel jealous, he wasn't hers exactly anyway, she went over and silently took a seat on his other side.

Beginning to walk, Syba began speaking. "I can't tell you everything. What I can tell you is that Ithya won't be bothering this place anymore. Effectively, he is gone. By destroying the dimension where his head is, he has been banished. I was hoping I wouldn't have to sacrifice my pouch of shuriken where, but whatever. He is gone." Stopping, he looked at Cyrus and shrugged before anything could be said. "My job was to get rid of him, before you ask. Now I get to do what I please, though I can't exactly do my vanishing trick anymore... At least, not all the time."

Leave no black plume as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken! Leave my loneliness unbroken! - quit the bust above my door! Nathan followed Lan down the hall and into the chamber. It was filled with valuable artifacts and with ancient documents. There was an empty altar where Elynn had claimed her prize...but it was not the only thing in there that could have stuck awe into a person. Nathan ran to the nearest pile of documents and began to gather them up. He would find someone to read them for him later. Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!' Quoth the raven,`Nevermore.'

Ϲyrus BlackhartCyrus followed Syba quietly, absorbing the information. Of course you can't tell me everything. That would make things too easy. He silently smirked to himself, but nodded to the man. "Your job, hm? Bet it doesn't pay well." He joshed, a dry grin spreading across his face. "I would ask who commissioned you to perform such a task, but I doubt I'd get much of a straight answer out of you." Cyrus sent a glance to Syba, eyebrows raised. He knew that some things simply had to be that way. It happened on a consistent basis in his own profession. The vampire found he had perhaps more in common with the mysterious figure than he thought. "What will you do now?" He asked, returning his eyes to the path before them, darting about for signs of intrusion. He never allowed himself to be anything less than cautious.

"Part of my job is not telling people," He said, continuing to walk. He took a moment to think, and shrugged once more. "I never really thought of what I would do. I've been training to do this for a long time, most of my life. I'll probably have to find a way to break the enchantment on the sword and daggers you used, or at least dull them, before I can truly be free to do as I please... After all, there is sort of curse attached to them. And I don't exactly want it to afflict anyone." Silent, he seemed to be hyper alert. He walked almost solely on the balls of his feet, ready to sprint ahead at a moments notice, or shift weight for a fight. His wrapped hand hovered near his sword, ready to draw it in the blink of an eye. "But if I could do anything, I'd like to help people as much as I can. Though how, I don't know."

Leave no black plume as a token of that lie thy soul hath spoken! Leave my loneliness unbroken! - quit the bust above my door! Nathan was stacking just about every book and scroll he could find when he came across a strange white book. The design in the binding and on the cover were clearly not Elven. He shrugged it off and put it in the stack, then pulled out a large sack and started carefully placing everything inside. "What we can't use, we will be able to sell to someone who collects this sort of stuff. We might as well grab a few other things. I did promise the innkeeper I would make him rich." Take thy beak from out my heart, and take thy form from off my door!' Quoth the raven,`Nevermore.'

Ϲyrus Blackhart Cyrus nodded to Syba's first comment. He knew all too well that part of the job. He had a sort of 'oh yeah' look on his face at the mention of the weapons he carried, remembering his promise to the Elves, Vys and Mazaka, that he would relinquish them after Ithya's defeat. Cyrus did not feel too badly about that, as his own blades suited him just as well. Nodding once more, he spoke, still not breaking from his vigil, as though he felt something was amiss. "Do what you must with the weapons. I'll not protest. They have served their purpose." He fell silent, considering Syba's last words. He'd have offered advice, but helping people was not something Cyrus was particularly experienced in. Of course, at the rate these last few days had been going, he was bound to be an expert soon enough.
