Crosshaven Constable's Office and Lockup.
OOC:
This thread represents Crosshaven's Jail and Police Dept.
Lockup consists of a waiting room, a processing room, and a secure hallway with several cells. While visiting people in lockup is all right, all areas are monitored by cameras and motion detectors, and there is at least one armed guard on post at all times.
Those people currently being held in Lockup:
Aveto - Arrested for Murder, pending trial
If you are in the Lockup, you cannot post as though you are free in any other Crosshaven thread. You can still make reflective posts, memories of the past, etc.
The Constable's Office includes his office and the offices of several others, interrogation rooms, evidence rooms, a small forensic lab, etc.

(( Psst! Aveto, you get one phone call in jail! Call Natsuki! You need an attorney! Trust me, I'm great at legal stuff like this! Plus, Natsuki is Aveto's employer and knows him personally. ))

Aveto Crow Master (Can i ask questions or stuff while im in jail) ((Absolutely You can talk to any of the guards, and make phone calls. There will be an arraignment hearing as soon as I can throw together a judge and prosecutor.))

Aveto's cell is relatively comfortable, though it is small and windowless. There is a monitored telephone, a bed with blankets, and provided food and water. There are no bars, instead, a glass-front with a thick plexiglass door.
The Constable opens up a door to let his detective into the cell block, and shows him to Aveto's cell.

So I stand there, and there's nothing between me and this guy but a plate of plexiglass.
I offer him a cigarette, and sit myself down. I rattle off the Miranda rights. He can remain silent. He can have an attorney present. And then I start asking questions. "So you told the Constable you were feeling guilty... that you didn't mean to kill the guy... could you maybe help me understand? Tell me everything, your side of the story. And this conversation is being videotaped."

Aveto takes the cigar he is offered and he opens it up and drops its contents into a pipe...Ok Inspector ill tell you my side of the story but you must let me call someone first....it will only take a minute....is it fine by you...while he waits for a responce he takes a lighter out of his hat and lights the pipe...he starts to breathe in smoke...this makes him start to relax a bit...

Thank you very much.....Aveto waits untill the detective is out of the room....Aveto rushes towards the telefone and dails Natsukis Number....he waits for natsuki to pick up the phone...

Meanwhile...
Natsuki was at home, stirring a bubbling pot. She hummed a little tune that was interrupted by her cell phone. She placed the wooden spoon down, and pulled her cell phone from her pocket.
"Hello? Aveto? Is that you? What is it you want?" She questioned as she untied her apron. She was worried by the urgentcy in Aveto's voice.

.....He tells her the whole story not including his not knowing why he killed the man...he cough he had caught small cold...he waits for an answer...
