Flawlessly Broken i keep hearing that the ps3 is just an expensive dvd player. ninja That was one of the reasons I was interested in it xd for a blu-ray player. The Playstation network also looks easier to use in terms of redeeming currency too. I might yet get a PS3.

Sorry, Richter X, I have a 360 though biggrin I know that's got nothing to do with the topic -- but my next question does: From your experience, is the PS3 any good? I was considering getting one sooner or later but I've heard things about updates freezing the console or in-game glitches with certain titles.

Soma, I highly recommend the PS3. The updates are just like they are for any other system...you can't play while the files are updating, but the updates never really take that long. As far as glitches go, every system has some games that glitch...take Fallout 3 for example. I heart that game to death, and on every platform I've played it on, it's been equally as glitchy all around (floating Deathclaws, disappearing enemies, etc.). Hacking, however, seems to be far lesser a problem than on 360 ot PS3. Plus, I've never had any "red ring"-like incidents with my PS3, so yay for that. xd

Meh, Blue Ray = DVD as far as I'm concerned. Unless you have some 1242384732 inch HD TV, there's really zero difference.

I have never been too enamoured with Blu Ray, it just seems like an expensive DVD. Thanks for the information, on the PS3, Richter. That's helped make me less indecisive about getting one. P.S. Fallout 3 is amazing, isn't it? xd

Anytime Soma. biggrin And yes...Fallout 3 is my favorite non-Castlevania or online multiplayer game. xd I've still yet to beat it though...all the DLC keeps sidetracking me. rofl
