Probably one of the most infamous bars in all of Roughshot. The reason? Primarily because it's where the people of G.E.A.R.B.O.L.T. chose as their regular drinking spot. It started out fine enough, but after being rebuilt several times over since their choosing to go there, not many people choose to hang out there anymore. Oh yea sure, it gets fine enough business, at least until a resident of G.E.A.R.B.O.L.T. busts in for a usual drink, much to the owners chagrin.

Desolate. Empty. Lifeless.
The desert was not Hana's scene. The normally energetic, yukata-clad woman seemed listless and tired, her brown eyes heavy. Hana came into the tavern and immediately found a seat, sighing heavily.
The desert had sucked much of the life from the young woman. Her seishou was derived from life, the energy of plants. In so desolate a place, she felt out of her element.
She ordered a glass of water.

Gabriel had been walking for days. Most would think that such a long time in the desert would make anyone go crazy with thirst. Not for him. He had been born in hell after all. He was used to such extreme heat. However, the one thing he could not stand was the fact that it was so life-less.
He was used to 'dead', but life-less was not something he enjoyed. He liked to watch things scurry by and he appreciated the trees that most enviroments gave to provide shade. Though he usually destroyed these things, he did enjoy them for what they were worth; entertainment. Walking for so long and being bored the whole time, that was not sitting well with Gabriel. His armored arm kept bugging him with an itchy irritation and the constant pat on the back from Hell Shadow was annoying him greatly at this point.
"I have to find a place to rest so or I will kill myself just to stop this madness. Stupid desert." Gabriel had been cursing the desert for it's lack of direction signs ever since he wandered into it by mistake. He had thought it was only a small dry spot within the forest, but was proven wrong as soon as he realized he'd spent an entire day in it. As he kept walking aimlessly, his eyes wandered the horizon. He stopped in his tracks as soon as he saw a small speck and instantly began walking towards it.
Please tell me that is a tree...or a human...I'm hungry dammit! With a large 'nudge' from Naraku in the back of his mind, Gabriel sprinted off towards the dot. As he got closer, the dot began to form into a building and the first thing that went into Gabriel's mind was Hell yes! I'm gonna get dinner and a show! He came to a stop before opening the doors to the tavern and walking in. It was very...dull.
Tch, nothing in here 'cept a few humans. Hm? Gabriel's eyes fell upon the only other customer within the tavern who just happened to be a female. He cocked an eyebrow as he looked at her. She doesn't smell completely human. Deciding he was going to do something while in this mortal stenched facility, he walked over to her table after ordering a water.
"Hello and you are?" Any human would have thought he was hitting on her; they'd only be half right. Gabriel rarely converses with others unless he wants information from them or they are of anything other than human. As a hound from hell, he found them only useful for food. Females only appealed to him if they had some type of fighting ability, which most species (other than humans) are capable of since birth. Otherwise they are considered as dead weight. No; he was talking to her because he was curious as to what was the small yet noticable scent that mixed with her obvious human blood. He was also completely bored and that was not acceptable.

HANA AYAKA花 彩華 Hana slowly looked up to the man that spoke to her, her eyes unfocused. She immediately sensed a demonic aura, though she was too exhausted to process the information much further than that.
"What importance is it to you," the halfling said pointedly, raising a thin pink brow, "who I am."

"No immediate importance. Just curious." Gabriel flashed a smirk in her direction. She didn't seem to be too aware of the fact that he could be a possible threat, in fact she looked tired. "My name's Gabriel." He didn't care whether or not she wanted to hear his name, he always made sure that anyone he meets knew his name. It was a precautionary for if and when he sent them to the afterlife or, if he let them live, so that they could spread the word. And sometimes, like now, it was just to give the polite way of starting a conversation.

HANA AYAKA花 彩華 "Gabriel," she repeated, her expression still quizzical. "The name's Hana Ayaka."
She was wary of the stranger- the longer he stood there the more she became aware of his unnerving lack of mortality. But she didn't let it faze her. She took careful notice of the fact that she was the sole female present in the tavern, took a generous drink of her water and looked at the man.
"If you're looking for a piece of a**, I'd suggest you move on," she snarled. That was one thing she did not feel like dealing with.

Gabriel stared down at her before letting out a quick laugh. "Sorry, hun. I'm not looking for a piece of a**, though it is a nice thought." He smiled down at her. "Nice thought in deed. However," He leaned forward slightly and said, with the calmest voice anyone could ever use, "I prefer my meals whole." His smile turned to a grin as he leaned back to his original position. Gabriel had been aware of the few other humans in the tavern and had been contemplating eating a few to satisfy his slight hunger. He could go awhile without food, but it gets irritating after a some time.

HANA AYAKA花 彩華 The halfling took another drink of water. She wasn't sure what this stranger was after. He had no apparent purpose, he just seemed bored.
"Whole? What the hell is that supposed to mean?" she said, her mood sour from being in the desert. She looked up at him, sighing.
"Well, if you're going to stay, uh, Gabriel, you might as well sit," she said, motioning to an empty chair.

Gabriel shook his head, but did sit down. " You aren't fully human yet you do not know that some species eat others? That is strange in deed." He leaned back in his chair and draped his arm over it's back. Naraku growled at Gabriel within his mind. Ignoring it with a stupid keepsake, he looked across the table at Hana. "So you aren't fully human and you don't eat humans, exactly what are you then? Something along the good natured side I presume."

HANA AYAKA花 彩華 A look of realization flashed across Hana's face. Was it obvious? "I'm of fey blood," she answered him. "I'm not one to call a faery good-natured, but perhaps better than some," she said, smiling slightly. Her feelings of uneasiness disappeared - the stranger didn't seem to pose any threat to her now that she understood his interest lied with humans.
"Nothing of note, really," she said, sipping her drink.

"Fey...huh. I think I've met a faery once. Can't remember it was so long ago." Gabriel said while smiling. His observation had clearly caught her off guard; he loved that look, expecially when he was hunting. He decided to give her some more information on himself since she had given some of her's. It would also give her some explanation of how he knew. "I'm part of the Hell Hound catagory. We can be quite...vicious in nature." His smile grew wider as he watched a human child run upstairs after getting a drink. "So.." He turned his attention back to Hana. "What do fey's eat?"

HANA AYAKA花 彩華 Hana cast a glance out the window, resting her head on her chin. "Fey don't require much sustenance. What they do eat varies from faery to faery. I don't know, food is not something I think about often."
She glanced back over to Gabriel. "Besides, I'm only a halfling. I've never known a true faery personally, what would I know."

"Halfling...of course." Gabriel shifted uncomfortably as he realized that he hadn't unstrapped Hell Shadow from his back. Reaching behind him, he snapped the sword from it's holster and stabbed it into the wooden floor board beside him, so it would stand on it's own. Now that his back was clear and unbound, Gabriel leaned comfortably back in the seat.
As he looked at Hana, a question struck him. "Do you fight? Fey seem to have some knowledge of combat, but since your a 'halfling' I have to ask."

HANA AYAKA花 彩華 Hana looked up absently, tugging at her pink ponytail. "I can defend myself," the halfling answered, casting her eyes toward the sword that Gabriel stabbed into the ground. She glanced around- people seemed to notice the man's blatant disregard for the floor's well-being, but didn't want to say anything.
She looked back at him, sizing him up. He was certainly a smug b*****d; his question seemed to be hiding a challenge.
"But do I have any interest in fighting you? Not really." she said, glancing back outside at the harsh desert. She feigned disinterest in fighting him, but the reality remained she was out of her element in the lifeless desert. She definitely couldn't win anything without plants, life, the source of her seishou.
She looked back to the man, her senses on alert. She didn't want to give away her current weakness. He looked like he was looking for trouble, and she began to think it would be in her best interests to head elsewhere.

 Gabriel ignored the stares of the humans, more for their own good than his. Most humans that catch his sight don't walk away fully intact. He let out a small grunt of disapproval at the immediate dismissal for a challenge. " Was going to ask you for a fight, hun. Your part Fey and part Human. Any fighting would need to be taken outside and neither humans or fairies can sustain long in a desert, expecially while fighting. It wouldn't be very fair; and I like my fights to be fair." He had ordered water, but had yet to drink from the glass yet. He never knew why, but he prefered to drink his beverages right before he left. Gabriel looked around the tavern and caught one of the bartenders staring at him. He let out a low growl while barring his teeth at the man. " The hell you lookin at?" He mumbled as the man immediately went back to work. He hated when humans stared at him; he hadn't done any damage, so they should just mind their own business. " So, Miss Ayaka, why are you out in the middle of the desert alone? You don't seem to enjoy the landscape that much."
