Just as the name is, this roleplay is based off the storyline of the game Halo 3: ODST
For those who know what it is please join, otherwise i'll be alone.
There are a few changes i'm making. Such as when we start off we are alone, but we will find each other relatively fast.
Note: The style of play in Halo 3:ODST when playing legendary mode will be the generalization of enemy strength and how 'good' you have to be.
i don't think this roleplay will get too much traffic, but we will see.

That is very true, we can branch off from that story and go into something more towards something else in the help to beating the brutes.

We could have it like a story of one group within it. Have one spartan Only one and some odst guys. You could have a group or just a solo man, that way who ever wants to take on the extra text can do a team of odst while others control just one guy. We could name it the alpha squad or something basically they got thrown into a battle and ended up being the only company out and ended up getting set up as a unit for their above and beyond attitude and then that takes them further say such as into actual space battles boarding parties and several occasions where they are facing off with flood as well as covi forces and they have to get to an evacuation point and basically the humans are well human think of what you could actually do in a real life situation that includes parkour, and several evasive maneuvers. But jumping from ground lvl to a 3rd story of a building is a no no. Basically Just think real and im not talking about closed minded real, open minded realism is what im talking about. Like for example. Three guys positioned one with a assault rifle another with a grenade and one on top of a rock waiting. A ghost engaged the guy with the assault rifle the man on the rock quickly dispatched the brute by leaping onto its side making the brute and himself fall to the ground pulling out a combat knife and dispatching the 200 pound gorilla as the rolled to the ground dust accumulating several grunts following suit the guy with a grande throws it at the drop. The grunt stopped to feel something metal hitting his head he rubbed his head frantically trying to find the metal object to his surprise a grenade laid at his feet seconds before detonation the grunt looks bat at his squad with a tear in his eyes and tells them... "I ATE THE CANDY!" as his final confession to the horror he committed back on the flag ship. His second command grunt said "Daffodils?" We will never know why but the squad was taken out with a single PHOOOM!. Their fun sized bodies flying through the air with hilarious screams of agony.

i love you beowulf....
anyway. Yes i like that idea. Just keeping in mind the amount of things they will be carrying on them to perform well. Good Parkour may be hard to achieve. You 'd have to be a light ranger, smg and pistol and 2 grenades. know what i mean?

How about this to start it off.
A Famous ODST Space-ship suddenly shakes, dropping from orbit. It starts to burn up quickly under earth's atmosphere. Pilot J.T. Briggs Works hard to stabilize the ship, issuing an Emergency Drop to all cadets and captains. Well aware of his sacrifice, Briggs stays in the pilot's chair, keeping the ship as level for as long as possible. Once all the ODST's were in their dropships, he punched em loose. Close to 60 troopers drop one after one. Most with an Smg and pistol. Some Troopers dropped with nothing but their helmet. A few Troopers managed to grab a rocket launches and some extra tubes or a sniper and a box of sniper ammo (box, not clip. Think 20 clips). The drop, as usual, is rough. The troopers punch the chute button as they clear earth's atmosphere. The dropship's metal rocket parachutes jerk them to much slower speeds. As the chutes detach, a group of ODST's land in a lush forest, green foliage all around them. Mixed among these ODST was one special soldier. He popped the lid to his dropship and stepped out. His heavy boot thudding against the ground. He turned instantly and reached for something in his dropshit. He lifted a bluish black helmet and set it over his head. He was a Spartan. As the Spartan took his pistol and sniper rifle (the one with the box of ammo) he looked up, seeing the ship he just dropped from clearing the atmosphere in a fiery rage. Realizing J.T. Briggs just sacrificed himself to save nearly every person on board, the Spartan stands to attention, saluting the fallen ship. "You will not be forgetting, Lieutenant Briggs," the Spartan says before hearing rustling in the near-by bushes following a familiar, "DEMON!" It was a single grunt, clad in pink armor. The Spartan laughed and drew his pistol, dispatching the grunt with a single headshot.
(Lemme know whatcha think)
