Stoneheart padded out of the Warriors' den over to the fresh-kill pile. He picked up a sparrow and started to eat.
Mosspelt came in with the Dawn patrol, tired. Only blinking at her brother, she went into the den to sleep.

Emberkit crouched down, ready to spring. He watched it move a little more, then leapt.
He caught the brown leaf in his teeth and tossed it into the air. He pawed at it, trying to keep it up. He pawed it across camp.
He was stopped by something in his way. He let out a squeal of surprise as he landed in the side of Stoneheart.
Emberkit sat up and shrank down. "Sorry, Stoneheart," He whispered softly.

Airkit spotted Emberkit and chuckled. "Nice one Emberkit!" she shouted.

Emberkit looked over at the voice. It was Airkit. He gave out a mrrow of laughter.
He bowed appologetically (Don't shoot me, I know It's spelled wrong.) to the warrior and ran to Airkit. "I Can't wait until we're apprentices finally," He meowed. They were going to have their ceremony soon.

"I know I'm so excited!" Airkit said. She padded close to Emberkit and tapped him with her paw.
"Tag your it!" She squealed darting off ready for Emberkit to chase her.

Emberkit ran across camp after Airkit. After a few seconds, He tagged her. He began to back away slowly, then, ran back across the clearing.

Airkit turned around a charged as fast as she could to Emberkit. It had only been a few seconds that she had tagged her friend. How did I get over here so fast? she asked herself.

Emberkit laughed. Somewhere in the back of his mind, he said to himself that he was going to miss these moments when he's a warrior.
They continued the game until he finally gave up. He was worn out. "Okay, Airkit, You win," He meowed between breaths.

Airkit bounced up and down. "Yay!" she said. She noticed how tired Emberkit was. "Wow your tired? I'm way far from tired," she said. Thats weird...

Emberkit plopped down where he was sitting and put his head down. "That was fun!" He squeaked happily.

Emberkit padded behind the white kit over to the fresh-kill pile. He selected a small mouse, plopped down, and started eating it.
