Hawkwing went over to the fresh-kill pile and picked up a mouse. He sat down and started to eat the fresh-kill.
Talonswoop followed after her brother, and grabbed a sparrow.

Stitchstar padded by the nursery, noticing Nightkit as he played with a bit of moss outside the entrance. The kit used precision, and stalking techniques, quite advanced for his age.
"What are you doing, Nightkit?" he called. The kit looked up at him innocently, simply responding, "I'm playing."
Stitchstar nodded, twitching his whiskers and padding away. It was awkward speaking to him, not to mention he had yet to find a mentor for the aspiring young cat.

Thunderpaw licked her tortoiseshell pelt. She bounced out of her nest cheerfully and hopped to the fresh-kill pile. She chose a bird and sat down to eat, but stopped suddenly as she saw something moving outside the enterance. She looked over.
It was just Nightkit playing. She sighed. It was pretty fun being a kit, but now, she was an apprentice. Cats her age usually thought playing idly was for kits, but she thought there was nothing kit-ish about playing. And she held that opinion proudly.
She finished her bird and silently padded to sit in front of the Apprentice den. She spotted her leader padding across the clearing. "Hello, Stitchstar!" she meowed cheerfully.

"Good morning, Thunderpaw. I trust that you've already been out on patrol?" He asked the apprentice.
Nightpaw glanced up from his game, to see Stitchstar speaking with Thunderpaw. Without the leader looking, he could continue his experimentation. Nightkit turned back to the ball of moss, flicking it just a bit of the ground, then stopping it in midair. It was strange that he could do this, and he definately knew it wasn't normal, but it was sort of fun. He let if fall again, so that no other cat would notice.

Thunderpaw nodded. She waited a little before asking, "So, What are we doing today?" She licked her paws clean of the bird she had finished.

Rockheart walked up to the clan leader. He had been waiting to talk to Stitchstar for a while, but he decided now, since he wasn't to busy, it was time to discuss the clan's duties.
"Stitchstar," Rockheart greeted, as his tail swished back and forth.

Rockheart paused. "Should I announce the patrols?" Although, he already knew the answers, he asked anyway.

Moonkit and Sunkit snuggled close to their mother. The two kits had been sleeping for the past hour, and normally this was the time Sunkit would wake up. She never slept very long, and Rainpath was startled that she was still snoozing. But it was nothing to be concerned about. Sunkit had stopped having nightmares. The nightmares were normally about her father saving Moonkit and Rainpath, and not her. She was left alone to be killed by the fire. And just as the flame covered her, she awakened.
Moonkit on the other hand, was a sleeper. She slept in a tight ball for a long time, and woke up fresh and ready to spend her day with her sister and mother. Although, Moonkit was very close with Sunkit, she didn't understand why Sunkit couldn't sleep. Why being alone always bothered her. It sometimes bugged Moonkit, seeing her sister get all the attention, so she decided to talk to everyone, and if she was good, maybe should could be the new deputy or clan leader someday.
Rainpath watched Sunkit roll over, and waited for her to wake up, but she kept sleeping. With a sigh, Rainpath closed her eyes too, and thought of Sandclaw. He was licking her cheek, and watching his two kits playing in the grass. Rainpath, curled up beside him, and looked in his eyes. Her dream, which seemed like it lasted seconds, lasted minutes, at least twenty minutes.

"Of course," Stitchstar replied.
Silverpaw exited the den and saw Nightkit playing. She meowed a greeting to him, "Hey Nightkit, about time that you became an apprentice isn't it?"
He stopped, looking up at her, and seeming to be embarrassed before simply nodding.

Moonkit slowly drew her eyes open and saw Nightkit. With a sigh, she crawled to her feet and bounced towards him and Silverpaw. "Hi!" She smiled, her whiskers gleaming.
Sunkit felt her sister leave her side, and glanced around the den to see where she was. Moonkit wasn't in sight. Sadly, Sunkit climbed to her paws and hobbled out of the den and into camp, where bright sun hit her coat.
Rockheart nodded and prepared to announce the cats that would be going on the dawn patrol. "I will be leading a patrol with Hawkwing and Talonswoop." He ordered.
((It feels weird using Rockheart, I like Iceshadow better. Also, just try to act like there are more cats in the clan, like more warriors and such...))

Talonswoop pricked her ears and heard her name be called. Hawkwing stood up next to her, and walked over. She followed him. "Dawn patrol?" she guessed.
Hawkwing felt his sister come behind him. He stood by her when they came up to Rockheart.
