Forum-wise? Hm...
Besides other suggestions that seem to have been made like roleplaying, the mini-games with the forum, maybe more contests. Maybe even outside thread recruitment to get more lively people to join in. For now why not a dice rolling contest, the one to get within a certain area or to hit a specific number would win an item put up by the crew?

I would like to start a party in downs when we get 450 members
I want to start a 100k raffle when we get 500 members
